"With the help of the fellow Senior Brothers, no issues at all!" Fang Chong replied respectfully.
After Chen Jiuge took over the entire Purple Sun Mountain, he had Fang Chong lead the remaining array masters to lay out the defensive walls, which also served as a reward for Fang Chong's earlier efforts.
Most of the array masters here in Zi Ling ca from families; though sowhat dissatisfied, they did not voice it, and this process greatly helped Fang Chong to grow.
"That's good, how much longer do you think it will take to complete?" Gu Zhengyu raised his head to look at the towering thousand-ter-high wall.
Fang Chong caressed the recently inscribed winding runes on the wall, excitedly saying, "This is the strongest wall I've ever seen, of course not counting those at the sect."
"Oh, is it that formidable?" Gu Zhengyu expressed surprise.
Not to ntion the defenses on the Five-Colored Peak, where the surrounding wall is mostly for show, relying primarily on those Heaven and Earth Arrays and nurous Daluo-laid ans.
But the surrounding Immortal Cities of the Five Elents Sect are different, their construction required a significant amount of effort, especially cities like Five Luminaries City, presided over by Golden Immortals, with considerable defensive capabilities.
"Senior Brother Gu, look at this!" Fang Chong pointed to a dim yellow rune among them.

This also made other array masters view Fang Chong more highly, allowing the construction to proceed smoothly, otherwise, even with Chen Jiuge backing him, if others sched behind the scenes, there would be nothing he could do; you can't just eliminate people over such a minor matter.

The entire wall instantly ignited, appearing fiery red, yet Gu Zhengyu was astonished to find he felt no heat.
With a blue shimr of immortal power protecting his hand, he reached into the flas, his expression changed, swiftly withdrawing his hand.
"Does it burn the soul?"
"Senior Brother Gu, are you alright? It's my fault for not explaining beforehand." Fang Chong said with so fear.
"I'm fine, just go ahead and explain it."
"The Bright Rune we crafted mainly targets the soul. However, with our cultivation, we couldn't achieve this on our own, but Senior Brother Chen linked the Great Array with the wall."
"By harnessing the power of the Great Array alongside the unique properties of the Bright Rune, it possesses such capability!"
"If there were ghost monsters appearing now, they wouldn't need us to intervene; just approaching the wall would cause those existing as soul bodies to be incinerated to ashes!" Fang Chong proudly explained.

Jialouluo seed unfazed by Zi Hao's attitude; though the Evil Ghost Clan and the Heavenly Gate are now in a cooperative relationship, the Heavenly Gate is split into two factions, and Zi Hao just happens to be part of the one that doesn't favor the Evil Ghost Clan.
