Seven days later, Chen Jiuge received an ergency ssage from the Sect.
"Hold your ground at Purple Sun Mountain. If necessary, you may abandon it, but prioritize preserving the disciples' lives!"
Not long after, Zi Ling's ssage arrived as well.
"The revival of the Evil Ghost Clan has caused enormous losses for the Sect. We are now withdrawing our territories completely. Please be cautious."
The remaining content was just a bunch of basic information about the evil ghosts.
"Has Jialouluo Elder defected?" Chen Jiuge murmured, feeling sowhat lancholic.
Although our first eting was a bit unfriendly, upon further contact, Jialouluo seed like a nice person. At least, he didn't have the arrogance typical of a Daluo and even treated very kindly.

"Soone from the Heavenly Gate?" Lucifer showed little interest.
Concerning the Heavenly Gate Organization, which dispatched Wu Tian to guard him, Lucifer didn't have any particular aversion, but it's impossible to say he felt any goodwill either!

Gu Zhengyu looked curiously at Tian Yue.
"Aren't you supposed to be recovering from your injuries? How do you have ti to co here?"
Tian Yue shook his empty sleeves and smiled wryly: "Old issues, just exhausted from before. This ti I'm here to trouble you, Senior Brother."
"What is it? No need for formalities between us." Gu Zhengyu shook his head lightly.
"I've found so traces of ghost monsters and need your assistance to keep watch. My injuries haven't fully healed, and I'm worried about unexpected incidents." Tian Yue said bitterly.
"Why not inform Junior Chen? He presides over the Great Array. Within it, no ghost monster can escape his sight." Gu Zhengyu frowned slightly.
"Junior Chen is already very busy. Since we're free, we're just helping as much as we can." Tian Yue seed to think of Chen Jiuge.
"I see, well then, let's go!"
"No rush, the ghost monsters seem to have a peculiarity — they only co out at night. I'll notify you then."

Leaving Gu Zhengyu's courtyard, Tian Yue communicated with Yi Qi: "Control all the ghost monsters you can, not too many, but make sure their cultivation is higher, preferably fast or with better concealnt!"

"Relax, we're now tied on the sa rope!"

At dusk, when there was still a gleam of light in the sky, Tian Yue sent Gu Zhengyu a location.
Purple Sun Mountain was vast. The walls Chen Jiuge and the others were building mainly encircled the area around the Purple Sun Ore's entrance. Encircling the entire Purple Sun Mountain was impossible, as it's too large for just a handful of people to accomplish.
Passing through the lush dense forest, Gu Zhengyu parted the last thicket, reflecting Tian Yue's silhouette in his eyes.
"Senior Brother?"
Tian Yue turned around, expressionless: "Senior Brother Gu, you've finally arrived!"
Gu Zhengyu's heart sank, a long sword appeared in his hand, and he silently said: "Senior Brother, where are the ghost monsters?"
"Ghost monsters?"
Tian Yue tore off his jacket. Where his arm had been severed, bulging grotesque lumps began to appear constantly.
"Bubble"
With a soft sound, a pitch-black long worm crawled out from the severed limb.
"Why did you let out?" Yi Qi was sowhat unhappy, the vertical scars on his back itching to move.
"We need to confront it, don't we?" Tian Yue gazed at Yi Qi.
After a brief stare-down, Yi Qi stepped back: "Alright, so our opponent is this little guy?"
"Little guy?" Tian Yue shook his head; Gu Zhengyu was no ordinary little guy, he was a core disciple of the Five Elents Sect, far from a little guy.
"Be serious, your strength should be at the Heavenly Immortal level, don't underestimate others!"
"Don't worry, you don't need to teach that."
Gu Zhengyu was surrounded by dense blue Sword Qi, a touch of solemnity on his face: "Senior Brother, I don't understand!"
Gu Zhengyu truly couldn't understand. Tian Yue was the eldest senior brother of the Earth Lineage, his status not low, even quite high, and supported by a Golden Immortal Master; the junior brothers greatly respected him, and the Sect trusted him a lot.
