"Then we’ll paint our bedroom light green and gold," Primrose said after a short pause. Her smile deepened as she added, "And maybe we can leave a little space in the corner for your ... weightlifting equipnt."

Once, when Primrose entered Edmund’s room while he wasn’t there, she found his weightlifting equipnt lying around carelessly on the floor. She nearly tripped over the huge barbell, and when she tried to drag it into the corner, she couldn’t even move it an inch!

If they ended up sharing a bedroom and he left all those things scattered around like that, she was certain she’d trip and fall one day.

From what she could tell, Edmund only tidied his equipnt when he knew Primrose was going to visit his bedroom, and since the maids clearly couldn’t move those heavy things either, they just ended up lying around everywhere.

"I ... I can just train in the training ground," Edmund said softly. "I won’t bring my weightlifting equipnt into our bedroom."

"You don’t have to change your routine just because we’ll be sharing a room," Primrose replied with a smile. "I’ll get my new walk-in closet, and you’ll have your own space to train in our room. If I get sothing nice, then you should have sothing nice too."

She still didn’t understand why he felt the need to train in the bedroom of all places, but she didn’t want him to feel bad about it.

She decided to think of it the sa way she enjoyed dressing up in her room, even on days when she had no particular plans.

Besides, her husband needed to learn that he also deserved all the good things in the world, not just her.

"I like seeing you more often," she said instead, wrapping her arms around him and leaning against his shoulder. "So people say couples get tired of each other after a year or two, but I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of looking at you."

How could she ever grow tired of him, when her husband looked like he had been carved from perfection itself?

But honestly, even if sothing happened to him one day and he lost that handso face, Primrose knew she would still want to look at him every single day.

"I love seeing you all the ti too." Edmund’s heart softened, and he hugged her tightly, swaying her slightly in his arms because she was just too precious.

He showered her with several kisses before saying, "Since the library needs repairs, I think it would be better if you studied in your study room. I’ll ask the soldiers to move your things tomorrow, so you can use it the day after."

The real reason Primrose had never felt like using her study room was because she wasn’t comfortable there. Unlike the library, that room still felt unfamiliar.

It was just ... whenever she tried to learn sothing new in a place she didn’t know well, she would feel anxious. But if Edmund moved her room next to his, maybe she wouldn’t feel that way anymore.

"That sounds perfect." Primrose’s smile lit up her whole face. "Thank you, husband."

After that, they spent the entire night wrapped in each other’s arms. Edmund couldn’t help but think that holding his wife like this felt even more wonderful than making love—well, no, he still adored making love to her. But this warmth, this closeness, it was a blessing all on its own.

Primrose lted into Edmund’s embrace, feeling completely safe as he gently patted her back. Resting on top of him, she wished she could keep talking with him a little longer, just to hear his voice.

But the warmth of his touch, combined with the way his fingers softly stroked her hair, made her eyelids grow heavier and heavier. No matter how hard she tried to stay awake, the comfort of his warmth lulled her toward sleep.
