Oh, that kind of sha had been buried along with her lifeless body in her first life.

However, she was still curious, what kind of tactic would Edmund use to convince her to call him by his na?

"You’ve called my na so many tis during our first—"

"That was different!" Primrose cut him off imdiately before he could say anything embarrassing.

She couldn’t believe Edmund actually brought up that experience just to persuade her.

[Shit. I must have said the wrong thing.]

[You perverted fucking beast. CONTROL YOURSELF.]

Edmund quickly cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure. "It wouldn’t be inappropriate," he said, "if you called by my na in private."

[I just don’t want my wife to feel inferior to because she always has to use my title whenever she speaks to .]

He was thinking about her feelings that much?

Now that she considered it, people might actually start rumors that the King saw Primrose as inferior to him, since he always addressed her informally while she continued to use honorifics.

Gossip like that could be damaging for both of them.

She didn’t care about rumors anymore, but if they made people look down on her, then she wanted nothing to do with them.

"Then ... is it alright if I call you by your na in private?" Primrose took a slow step toward him.

"Or when we’re not at formal events?" She hesitated for a mont before adding, "But I’m still not used to saying your na, so ... please don’t be mad if I accidentally use your title sotis."

[Mad at her? I’d rather bury myself in the sand than be angry at her.]

Edmund finally replied, "You don’t have to worry about that, my wife." He added, "I won’t be upset with you. And even if you decide to call by my na at a formal event, I won’t stop you."

He might not mind, but people definitely would.

She didn’t care if she beca the topic of gossip, but having to listen to their endless, buzzing thoughts? Now that would drive her insane.

"Let’s just keep it private for now," Primrose decided. She stepped closer, moving slowly until she stood right in front of him. "Is that alright, Edmund?"

As soon as his na left her mouth, the mighty Lycan King had a ltdown inside his head. He froze in place and for a second, Primrose swore she couldn’t hear him breathe.

Did he faint while standing up? Just because she called him by his na?

Why is she being so dramatic?!

"That ... that’s alright," Edmund finally managed to say, his voice slightly hoarse.

His eyes flickered wildly, struggling to focus until, for so reason, they landed on her lips.

"Wife," he muttered, "Can I ask you for a favor?"

Not long after, Primrose could hear a full-blown war in his thoughts.

[I’m trying my best to hold back, but ... damn it, it’s so hard.]

[My wife is too beautiful for .]

[What if she slaps after this? Screw it. Just ask.]

Primrose tilted her head, utterly baffled by his inner turmoil.

Why on earth did he think she was going to slap him just for asking sothing?

"What is it, husband?" she said gently.

Edmund clenched his fists tightly. [I had no idea that being called ’husband’ would make lose my mind like this.]

[Her voice ... It’s so soft. So beautiful ...]

He hesitated for a mont before finally asking, "Do you mind if I ... kiss you?"

Primrose blinked, her round eyes widening slightly. For a socially awkward wolf like Edmund, this was a bold move.

Was she against the idea of him kissing her?

Not really.

It was just a kiss, nothing special.

Besides, they had already shared a bed, so compared to that, a simple kiss shouldn’t an anything.

But ... for so reason, his question made her breath hitch.

A strange warmth crept up her neck, and before she knew it, she was avoiding his gaze.

Why was she feeling shy all of a sudden?

It was just a kiss.

The Lycan King had already seen her naked before, so why did this feel different?

"I ... I don’t mind," Primrose finally murmured, her voice softer than she intended.

Inside Edmund’s head, absolute chaos erupted.

[Did I hear that right?!]

[MY WIFE SAID YES?!]

[She’s actually letting kiss her?!]

She closed her eyes and tilted her chin up, expecting Edmund’s lips to et hers, but instead of feeling the warmth of his lips on hers ... she felt nothing.

After waiting for a mont, and just as she was about to open her eyes, a gentle warmth pressed against her forehead.

Not her lips, but her forehead.

His lips lingered against her skin, radiating a warmth that seeped through her, like the first golden rays of sunlight lting away the cold of dawn.

A soft shiver ran down her spine, not from the cold, but from the way his kiss felt so gentle, yet filled with a passion that spoke louder than any rough, desperate touch ever could.

Why? Why did he kiss her like that?

He was her husband. If he wanted more, he could have taken it.

She had expected Edmund to seize the opportunity, to claim what was already his. She had even braced herself to slap him if he got too carried away.

But he didn’t.

He simply held back, not because he lacked desire, but because he refused to take what wasn’t freely given.

The mighty Lycan King, feared on the battlefield, a man who cut down his enemies without hesitation and stained his hands with blood, was nothing more than a devoted, obedient dog when it ca to her, one who wouldn’t dare bite the hand that held his heart.

Slowly, she fluttered her eyes open.

Edmund was still standing close, his lips hovering just above her skin as if he wanted to savor the mont a little longer. When he finally pulled away, his soft gaze t hers.

She had no idea why her heart was suddenly pounding so hard that she swore she could hear her own heartbeat.

Why did a simple forehead kiss feel deeper than the kiss on the lips?

Her fingers twitched at her sides, unsure of what to do with the unfamiliar emotions swirling inside her chest. Slowly, she lowered her head, unable to hold his gaze any longer.

"That ... wasn’t what I expected," she murmured. Her voice was quiet, but Edmund could hear it clearly.
