The boy being questioned didn’t feel embarrassed at all; instead, he confidently retorted.
One thing has nothing to do with the other, it’s not false advertising, is it?

"Fair enough, bro, fair enough." As Bai Bufan was still lanting the password he thought he had in his grasp slipping away, Lin Li was already smiling and giving a thumbs-up.
"So, are you two interested or not? There’s not much ti left in the morning, so I can make the call and give you guys a discount!" the boy enthusiastically suggested.
"No need." Lin Li, who still had more exploring to do, naturally shook his head to refuse.
However, judging by the situation in the classroom earlier, this class’s event had quite the attendance.
When you think about it, it makes sense. Not everyone likes participating in these lively events. For many people, finding a spot to sit and play on their phones all morning is far more interesting and "aningful" than joining so group activity.
Moreover, you can’t go back to the dorms, and there’s no guarantee there’ll be a spot in your own class, plus it might lead to potential hassles. In this situation, this class really is a good place to hang out.
Besides, spending ten yuan isn’t just about buying a seat—you’re actually buying food or services, with the seat thrown in for free, which makes it quite cost-effective.
Not all second-years are clueless idiots, after all.

No need for Lin Bai to find another excuse since from the neighboring class, Ding Sihan poked her head out from the back door and called over to them.
"What’s up?" After saying goodbye to the boy, Lin Li and Bai Bufan walked over.
"This class is doing a brain teaser challenge. Answer correctly, and you get a discount. But from what I overheard, their questions are pretty sly. You two seem perfect for this," Ding Sihan explained.
"Alright," Lin Li raised an eyebrow and nodded.
Sounds like a perfect match.
"Senior, we brought in so reinforcents. These two will answer on our behalf."
After entering the classroom, Ding Sihan spoke to a girl holding a notebook.
"Alright, no need for replacents. You can all join in. I’ll ask five brain teasers for five people. The more correct answers you get, the bigger your discount. The rule is that you can’t use any electronic devices, only you five can answer, and you must give the correct answer within ten seconds..."
The girl nodded and proceeded to explain the rules to the newcors.
"If you give a wrong answer within ten seconds, is that okay?" Bai Bufan asked.
"It’s fine, as long as you give the correct answer in the end."
"Okay, we got it," Lin Li and Bai Bufan nodded.
The girl flipped a page in her notebook and began to read the first question: "What’s in between 5 and 7?"
Lin Li and Bai Bufan turned to look at the "three people" behind them.
"Why are you looking at us? You two answer, we’re counting on you," Ding Sihan said in surprise.
Hearing this, Lin Li and Bai Bufan turned back, exchanged a glance, and Lin Li raised his chin.
Bai Bufan nodded, chuckled softly, and confidently said, "That’s too easy; even a primary school kid could answer this, of course it’s 6!"
The girl shook her head, giving Bai Bufan an odd look. It’s called a brain teaser, how could it be this simple?: "Wrong."
"What—impossible!" Bai Bufan exclaid with disbelief, covering his mouth.
anwhile, Lin Li tapped the bridge of his nose, as if adjusting imaginary glasses, and calmly said, "Idiot, ’5 and 7,’ of course the answer is ’and.’"
"Bingo, that’s the correct answer," the girl clapped lightly.
"Next question then." Bai Bufan wasn’t bothered, instead eagerly anticipating the girl’s next question.
The girl nodded, "Alright, for the second question: A naturally disabled sheep with one leg missing suddenly started bleating. Its usually gentle and healthy owner got very angry when seeing this, why?"
The two exchanged glances again, this ti with Bai Bufan raising his chin.
"Because it disturbed the owner?" Lin Li pondered for a second, then asked.
"Nope."
"Because the sheep behind the owner died?"

Hearing this, Bai Bufan sneered slightly, "Moron."
He then turned to the second-year girl with confidence and said, "Why? Of course, it’s about feeding grass, feeding feed, or feeding ’golden fertilizer’."
"Correct, the right answer is feeding grass," the girl nodded approvingly.
Intrigued, a local boy standing aside in the classroom ca over with curiosity.
"What, it was a pun all along," Lin Li couldn’t believe it, "Were all the previous clues just red herrings?"
Within seconds, though, Lin Li regained his composure.
Looking at Bai Bufan, Lin Li calmly said, "It’s your turn to play the idiot in the next one."
Bai Bufan glanced around the classroom and whispered, "Seems like nobody else gets us. They really think we’re idiots. How about we stop acting?"
Lin Li: "Works for ."
The "three people" behind them, who heard everything clearly: "..."
Ding Sihan suddenly realized, earlier when they were looking her way, they were hoping they could act or directly play the role of the "idiot" who answers wrong, a sort of contrast character in novels who gets face-slapped while explaining to others.
Tsk, these two are really sothing else.
"Yanan, give a few questions."
Before the girl could continue with more questions, the boy who’d co over earlier told her.
Once the girl nodded, the boy eagerly looked at Lin Li and Bai Bufan:
