"Holy cow, this vinegar’s gone sour, expired, right?" Lin Li shouted upon opening a tiny vinegar bottle and sniffing it.
Bai Bufan cooperatively held up an imaginary item and shouted, "Whoa, this durian slls rotten, gone bad, right?"
"Neither expired nor spoiled, actually I just let out a sour, rancid fart," Zhou Baowei raised his hand and said.

Lin Li and Bai Bufan were fine, but Zhou Baowei was already figuratively beaten to death and left by the roadside.
The ingredients and spices were sorted, but the charcoal wasn’t completely hot, leaving the group rather idle as they waited.

"Where did those persimmons co from! Let see!" The trailing group was furious when they saw Lin Li and Bai Bufan intending to sneakily eat persimmons, and they tried to snatch them.
"Bought on the hike, this bag costs 20 bucks, no way!"
Lin Li held the bag high, and seeing the group attempting to snatch it, he tossed it to Bai Bufan.
"Don’t you dare snatch! Leave us so! There are only a few left!" But Bai Bufan was too weak, and the bag got intercepted by Wang Ze, leaving Bai Bufan crying in anguish.
"Thank you for the persimmons, they’re ours now."
Ultra-athletic Wang Ze laughed triumphantly, ready to enjoy his prize.
Lin Li and Bai Bufan finally let themselves chuckle.

Also waiting for the charcoal to fully heat up, Chen Yu Ying and Ding Sihan were sharing the photos they took along the way with their roommates.

The two turned their heads, only to see Lin Li and Bai Bufan having done sothing and seemingly angered everyone, now sprinting across the lawn.
And behind them was a throng of angry boys led by Wang Ze, they saw Wang Ze shouting:
"Lin Li! Bai Bufan! Stop right there! Have the guts not to run!"
If Lin Li and Bai Bufan had proactively shared, they would have been on guard, but seeing them treasure it, why would Wang Ze and the others suspect a trick was involved?
"Feign submission only to seize later! Using tactics on us! You guys are beasts!" The angrier Wang Ze got, the more he thought.
Oh, seeing the persimmon juice not yet wiped off the corners of people’s mouths and their painful faces, Chen Yu Ying and Ding Sihan understood.
