"Hey, follow to the bathroom, and I’ll show you if I’m pretending to be sothing I’m not," Lin Li said with a cold smile, reaching out to drag Bai Bufan outside.

"Huh? No need for that, bro, really," Bai Bufan waved his hand, then clenched his fist to boost morale, "I support you! I truly despise cheaters. There aren’t many like who can resist the temptation of a new phone and rely solely on myself.

If there were more people like in the world, it would undoubtedly beco a better place."

"Because you damn well sit in the first row," Lin Li sneered, pointing at Bai Bufan’s spot in the exam room.

The last second group, first seat, possibly the most insecure position.

"It’s got nothing to do with the front row. Even if I sat in the second row, I wouldn’t cheat," Bai Bufan said disappointedly, surprised at how Lin Li saw him.

"And what if it’s the third row?" Lin Li inquired.

Bai Bufan didn’t respond.

"I’m asking you a question," Lin Li smirked.

"We’ll see when the ti cos," Bai Bufan chuckled.

After confirming there were no emotional issues with Lin Li, he returned to his seat and continued reading the Cthulhu novel "Physics."

Beside him, the sowhat anxious Feng Kai finally had his chance, imdiately making so sounds to draw Lin Li’s attention, and asked, "Bro, were you serious just now?"

"Just joking, I was kidding," Lin Li replied.

"Phew—" Feng Kai breathed a sigh of relief, wearing an expression of ’I knew it,’ "Bro, you scared . By the way, how are your math and physics scores? Want to discuss them later?"

"You might have misunderstood . When I said ’kidding,’ I ant that I was kidding about ’joking’—I wasn’t kidding. If I catch you cheating, I’ll report it," Lin Li explained with a gentle smile.

Feng Kai: "..."

Getting played twice in one sentence? That’s a bit much.

Feng Kai’s expression beca slightly more serious, trying to appeal with reason, "Bro, there’s no need for this, right? I understand you’re pissed because of that backstab, and you’re upset, but you need to find the right outlet, no need to take it out on others."

Lin Li couldn’t be bothered to respond, resting one hand on the desk, twirling a pen, waiting for the exam to start.

Feng Kai grew more anxious, stood up, and slapped his palm on his desk, "Bro, what you’re doing is betraying all of us students, it’s disloyal, unfilial, unkind, unjust, impolite, unwise, untrustworthy!"

"You’re right."

Seeing that his persuasion finally seed to work, Feng Kai relaxed a bit.

But Lin Li hadn’t finished, "I am indeed disloyal and un... whatever? Anyway, I’m exactly the kind of person you described, so either cheat without noticing, or be prepared for to report it."

Screwing up occasionally is enjoyable, but consistently screwing up is even more delightful.

Why care about the possible gossip in school?

Now, Feng Kai was sowhat angry, slapping the desk again, "Have you thought about others retaliating against you?"

"But I’m not cheating in this monthly exam, so I’m temporarily invincible," Lin Li remained unmoved.

"But have you thought about your classmates, your friends? What will you do when your class gets targeted by the whole school because of you?" Feng Kai continued to nag.

Lin Li sighed, got up, walked over to Feng Kai, and pointed to Bai Bufan who was sitting in the first row far away, "Look, that’s my best buddy. No matter what kind of revenge, aim it at him, I’ll take it for him."

Feng Kai: "..."

"No, bro, what I ant was..."

Feng Kai’s words were cut off by Lin Li, who looked at him indifferently, "I don’t care about your point. My point is you should just stop babbling; it’s noisy. It’s your bad luck to encounter in this monthly exam, it’s that simple. You think cheating puts you on a moral high ground?

Reporting cheating makes my class targeted by the whole school? Can you represent the whole school, or can you rally the whole school? That’s enough, bro."

Lin Li returned to his seat and continued twirling his pen, while Feng Kai said nothing more.

Even when Lin Li, already tall for a freshman year, suddenly put on a cold face, the pressure was instantly felt, and Feng Kai was intimidated.

Lin Li turned his head: hehe.

...

In the morning’s math and physics exams, perhaps because there wasn’t much point in cheating, Lin Li didn’t see anyone cheating.

After taking the two exams, Lin Li felt fairly good about his performance.

For math, Lin Li only missed the third sub-question of the last question; everything else was filled in. The only uncertain part was the last fill-in-the-blank question. Regarding the last multiple choice question, Lin Li had done a similar problem before, so he believed he had the correct answer.

He filled in everything for physics, but whether it’s right or not is another matter, because physics is a subject where a problem with one formula or calculation can cause cascading errors.

However, in the afternoon, with the first subject being politics, so people were imdiately eager to cheat.

Lin Li had been deliberately avoiding seeing others cheat, but when the politics teacher ca around to distribute corrections for printing errors in the exam paper, he couldn’t avoid looking up.

After the politics teacher left, Lin Li sighed and directly spoke loud enough for the whole classroom to hear:

"Teacher, the student in the fourth row of the fourth group should be looking at a cheat sheet, it’s in the drawer, oh, now it seems to have been dropped underneath and pressed with a shoe..."

Feng Kai looked at Lin Li who was broadcasting the cheating live, and realized he had to be honest.

Seeing is believing.

This guy was serious, it’s best to keep his cheat sheet hidden in his pocket.

The invigilator naturally couldn’t ignore Lin Li’s words, confird them, seized the cheat sheet, and it was rather benevolent, at least allowing the reported student to continue the exam. So stricter invigilators would have imdiately stopped the exam, indicating the student failed.

...

"You really reported it, didn’t you? Damn!" After the exam ended and the invigilator had just walked out, Zhang Wei ca straight at Lin Li with red eyes.

Upon hearing this, Bai Bufan imdiately stood up, his voice preceding him before his presence, "It’s cheaters like you that get reported, so what? Lin Li, I’ll back you up! ss with my bro, and I’ll cut you down."

Lin Li felt touched—Bai Bufan actually stood up for him imdiately.

Hold on.

Lin Li saw Bai Bufan reaching the doorway, about to leave the classroom, "Where the hell are you going to back up?"

"I’m going back to the dorm to get my phone to help you cut a deal on Pinduoduo."

Lin Li gave a thumbs-up.

Hope he’s a new user.

"Keep it up, if you can slice out five hundred bucks, the ashes can stay at the parcel locker for ten years, which is much cheaper than buying a cetery plot."

"Business prodigy!" Bai Bufan’s eyes lit up.

Seeing these two chatting made Zhang Wei even angrier. He quickly approached Lin Li, just as he was about to pound on Lin Li’s desk, Lin Li casually placed his right hand on Zhang Wei’s head, rubbing it, with a benevolent smile that could lt any creature:

"Don’t get worked up, it’s just a minor issue, nothing to be angry about."

His left hand peeked out the mouth of the "Bottle of Desires" from his pocket.

"That makes sense," Zhang Wei nodded, finding himself less angry. Indeed, he was in the wrong first, feeling ashad and angry, and Lin Li indeed seed daunting.

But leaving just like that didn’t feel right; he thought he had to leave so harsh words, give himself an out:

"I’ll let you off this ti, just don’t report again in the future, be sensible."

"That’s not possible, I’ll still report if I see it, it’s better if you’re sensible," Lin Li shook his head.

"Don’t disrespect ..." Zhang Wei’s face turned angry again, reaching out to grab Lin Li’s collar, but Lin Li held it down.

"Forget it, you don’t respect , I won’t either, whoever wants respect can have it," Zhang Wei changed his tone.

After saying this, he withdrew his hand and left the classroom.

Everyone present who wanted to see the drama unfold was stunned, especially Feng Kai, who was eagerly awaiting a violent spectacle.

No way, that’s it?

Even Bai Bufan, who was ready to go out and rally people to back Lin Li up, returned to the classroom, looking at Lin Li’s hands in confusion, "Hey Lin Li, what did you just do?"

"Moved him with love," Lin Li smiled innocently, "Actually, I’m Nangong Wenya, touching soone makes them dumb."

Bai Bufan suddenly felt a bit shy, "I had a crush on Wenya when I was a kid..."

"Shut up, I don’t know you, disgusting, get lost," Lin Li said with a dark face.

"Just kidding, just kidding, my crushes were Dongfang Tie Xin and Beiming Xue," Bai Bufan changed his tune.

"That’s just human nature. I’ve actually made mistakes too; my crush was Xin Xiao," Lin Li sighed with relief.

"...You’re the real master," Bai Bufan admitted.

The two of them bantered for a while.

Then Lin Li returned to his seat, took out his technical textbook, and looked interestingly towards the door.

During the second round, he didn’t have ti to absorb the anger.

Wasted one [charging].

...

Zhang Wei, heading towards the bathroom, turned around to make sure no one was following him out of the classroom, then sharply shook his right hand.

"Hiss—ha—"

"Damn bro, if you have martial virtue, you should have said so earlier!"

"I would’ve behaved earlier, right?"
