Four pairs of eyes scrutinize each other.

Except for the woman beside Xue Jian, who is confused, the other three pairs of eyes are all shocked.

Bai Bufan is completely dumbfounded.

At 0 years old, I was born. At one, I learned to walk. By two, I was already speaking so simple human words. At three... Bai Bufan’s brief life started flashing before his eyes.

What an exhilarating yet wasteful life.

What situation is this even?

Am I witnessing my class teacher doing such a thing?

Although encountering sothing like this today is worth the price of admission, it’s a bit too much bang for my buck.

He suddenly isn’t nervous anymore—facing imminent death, what’s there to be nervous about?

Teacher Xue, is a truce possible?

How about both turning a blind eye to each other?

"Lin Li... I don’t want to die, I haven’t lived enough, and I definitely don’t want to be silenced... Whatever you do, just keep us alive..." Bai Bufan’s trembling hands clutched Lin Li’s clothes as if holding onto a last straw, unwilling to let go, pleading desperately.

"Don’t panic; you haven’t seen anything you shouldn’t have." Lin Li, now clear-headed after the shock, reassured Bai Bufan, "Old Jian isn’t here to solicit; he’s probably just here for regular services. The woman next to him isn’t a worker here, if I recall correctly, she’s his wife."

Many middle-aged people like using their photos as WeChat avatars, and Lin Li vaguely rembered Xue Jian’s companion—a woman with perd hair—from a peculiar Monday night.

Besides, Xue Jian doesn’t seem like the type to do such things.

After calming Bai Bufan, Lin Li shook his head at Xue Jian, didn’t speak, raised his hand to scratch his head, and gestured for silence by sliding his hand across his lips.

The corridor was crowded and under surveillance.

Lin Li didn’t want to hear the na ’Lin Li’ co from Xue Jian’s mouth.

anwhile.

At this mont, Xue Jian’s expression was complex—even more complex than Bai Bufan’s.

To be honest, Lin Li’s gesture of silence was sowhat unnecessary; having seen Lin Li here at this ti and place, even if Xue Jian were to make a comnt, he wouldn’t have anything to say.

How did he bump into Lin Li after leaving school, casting a shadow over what was supposed to be a lovely weekend?

He couldn’t forget Monday’s events, and now that this kid Lin Li appeared here, does it an... this shop also has a side hustle with such activities?

Xue Jian tilted his head, expressing this doubt, and Lin Li, having understood his confusion, nodded slightly.

The answer was self-evident.

Well hidden indeed. I’ve been here many tis and never noticed.

But that’s not important now. What’s important is whether Lin Li got addicted to going undercover or sothing?

Are we going to the principal’s office again next Monday? Xue Jian didn’t dare to imagine what expressions Principal Wang might show then. Having a student like Lin Li is indeed a blessing for Nansang Middle School.

Coping up to this point.

When Bai Bufan’s head popped out from behind Lin Li, Xue Jian’s urge to punch the world peaked.

—If I can’t punch the world, punching Lin Li can serve as a substitute.

How did you end up bringing Bai Bufan along!?

Could Lin Li possibly have taken the principal’s words to heart, intending to set himself as an example, leading the whole school into paths related to X-rated activities!?

Don’t want that kind of future!

Could I still resign now? But the year-end bonus is just a few months away; not getting it seems like a pity.

Principal Wang, look at what kind of ideas you’ve planted!

Lin Li, see where you’ve been putting your thoughts!

Bai Bufan, look at what excitent you’re involved in!

Xue Jian, look at the kinds of students you’re bringing up! Why did you co here today!

—Xue Jian began attacking everyone in his heart indiscriminately, including himself.

"What’s wrong? Why aren’t we leaving?" Xue Jian’s wife still wore a puzzled expression, glanced at Lin Li and Bai Bufan, and then asked, sowhat confused, "Are those two your students? They look quite young, not quite the age to co to such a place."

"No, no, no, I don’t know them." Xue Jian finally regained his composure, and upon hearing his wife’s question, shook his head vigorously, "I have nothing to do with those two! Let’s go, after the massage, let’s leave; this place is unsuitable for a prolonged stay, very dangerous."

Wife: "?"

How could a massage parlor be dangerous?

Though she didn’t quite understand why, she nodded.

And so, the four passed shoulder to shoulder.

They beca the most familiar strangers in the world.

...

Xue Jian took his wife back to their car.

"Why haven’t we left yet, did we leave sothing behind?" his wife in the passenger seat, already buckled up, asked as she noticed Xue Jian still staring at Tianhong, with a trace of puzzlent in her eyes.

"No rush, sweetheart. In a bit, there’s likely to be a show to watch here." Xue Jian shook his head calmly.

"Hmm, what kind of show?" Curiosity successfully piqued, the woman asked.

"According to reliable sources, this shop is about to get raided for prostitution." Xue Jian asserted firmly.

"Ah, this store provides such services?" The woman reacted with similar surprise as Xue Jian upon hearing this.

"Yes."

Before Xue Jian could lift his head back up, his wife had fiercely grabbed his collar: "Oh, Xue Jian, I wondered why you wanted a relaxing session here every week. There were several tis when I didn’t co with you, and it turns out it was for this!

You always said you were too stressed by the students and couldn’t relax without a massage, but it seems your intentions were elsewhere!

I also noticed that after putting our kids to bed, whenever I ca near you, you shuddered. Every ti, you made an excuse about being too tired from the next day’s work. Now, it seems your energy has been spent outside!

If you no longer want this life, let’s just end it! You take our eldest and the house; I take the car, the savings, and our youngest, while you get Wangcai!"

Xue Jian: "..."

Not even leaving a little good for .

"What thoughts are you entertaining? I just found out about all this!" Xue Jian retorted speechlessly.

As for dallying outside, at Xue Jian’s age, even keeping up with his wife at ho is a struggle; where’s the energy for these outside endeavors? Xue Jian’s biggest fear is his wife going to bed early.

Xue Jian knows one thing: once his wife goes to bed, he must ’get sleepy’—must fall asleep within three minutes!

"About this matter... I don’t even know how to explain to you, but those kids earlier..."

Xue Jian could only recount the events of last Monday.

The woman loosened her grip.

The tale she heard was enough to stupefy her for a century.

Her perspective on looking at Tianhong had changed; she began to anticipate eagerly.

Gossiping is a human instinct, and this instinct is especially strong in won.

Quickly, she yearns to see havoc.
