Wangzai Little Buns widened her eyes, staring at the rapidly disappearing back of the creature: "What’s up with this creature that looks like a rat?"

"Did it just hop right out of the pit with a swoosh?"

"What kind of jumping ability is that? Didn’t it look quite normal when it was running? Why is its jumping ability so astonishing?"

The creature’s body was about the size of a rat, but its head resembled that of a leopard.

Its body was as large as a human’s head, but its four short legs were extrely short.

With such short legs, sticking close to the ground when running, almost invisible due to being covered by the body.

Yet it could easily jump out of a pit over half a ter deep? How is that even possible?

The players present were all a bit confused.

Iron Black Pot glanced at the bewildered crowd, then extended two skeletal hands and clapped heavily to get everyone’s attention: "Ahem, everyone, snap out of it."

"Although this ga is really realistic, it is a ga after all!"

"And it’s a ga with a magic background!"

"Such inexplicable events happening is actually quite normal, right? We can’t use real-world creatures as a reference."

Upon hearing Iron Black Pot’s words, the players present snapped out of it as Caged Parrot imdiately nodded in agreent: "Scapegoat is right, everyone got confused by how realistic the scene is."

"This is a ga, after all, everything must be set according to the ga’s rules, we can’t use real-world creatures as references."

"By the way, has anyone noticed sothing? The creatures here seem to be particularly fast?"

"At least the creatures we’ve seen so far are this way, which is quite disadvantageous for us."

Wangzai Little Buns turned her head to look around, then reached out and patted Iron Black Pot’s shoulder: "Scapegoat, how about we try using other traps? Or we find so sturdy branches, sharpen one end, and bury them in the pit?"

"Earlier, we used those wild fruits as bait just as a trial, but it turns out so creatures do like to eat those wild fruits from the trees, showing that these wild fruits are quite effective as bait."

"Why don’t we enhance this trap, so that if it falls into the trap, it will be killed instantly, so no matter how amazing its jumping ability is, it can’t jump out, right? It might just waste a bit of blood, though."

Iron Black Pot turned his head to glance at Wangzai Little Buns: "Hmm, I actually thought of that too, but it does indeed waste blood."

"But it’s better than having no gain at all, so let’s do it."

"Moreover, to complete our task quickly, we’ll set another trap, a dual approach."

"...Hmm, let think, let’s set up a snare trap as well."

"From what we’ve seen on our way here, the creatures are pretty big, so making the noose durable enough should yield great results."

"On the way here, didn’t we co across so black vines? They seem quite durable, very suitable for making a noose."

"Setting up the snare trap mainly involves identifying the common paths the prey uses, and it might take so ti."

"I didn’t suggest this trap at first because I thought it might take too much ti."

"However, the advantage is clear—once caught, the prey’s chances of escaping are very slim."

"We shouldn’t forget that this ga is set in a magical realm, just because of the realistic environnt."

"The animal settings are obviously based on this background, which makes more sense."

"However, this inevitably ans they’re harder to deal with than real animals; hence, we need to devise more strategies."

"I’m fond of this field of wilderness survival and quite experienced in this aspect."

"I’ll handle setting up the snare trap, you guys can assist , and I’ll look for the common paths the animals use."

Following Iron Black Pot’s lead, the players started busying themselves once again.

The crowd first crafted wooden spikes, while Iron Black Pot went to locate so commonly traveled paths by large animals.

Once the players had made the wooden spikes and installed them in the pit, Iron Black Pot finally found a suitable location.

He had the other players assist him in setting up the snare trap.

Then everyone began waiting for prey to fall into the trap.

Half an hour later, prey finally took the bait again.

The wooden spikes set up by the crowd clearly had an effect. After the prey fell into the pit, piercing wailing sounds emanated from the pit, and it didn’t jump out again.

The players quickly erged from the bushes nearby and moved closer to the edge of the pit.

Inside the pit was a creature about the size of a washbasin. Its body resembled a rabbit’s, but it had no fur, and its head was an inverted triangle.

It looked rather hideous.

At this mont, its body was pierced by nurous wooden spikes, and blood flowed from its body, staining the bottom of the pit red.

Iron Black Pot quickly commanded: "Hurry, everyone, get it out! Bring over the vessels we’ve prepared to collect it, don’t waste it, don’t waste it."

Previously, Iron Black Pot and his group had co across a type of tree.

This tree bore large nuts that resembled coconuts, and when cracked open with a stone, the inside contained erald green liquid.

Many players were curious to see if this stuff was drinkable at the ti.

Of course, whether it was drinkable or not, these players certainly couldn’t drink it, since they were just skeletons.

Of course, there were still so silly players who were skeptical, but when they poured the liquid into their mouths and it just leaked through their bones, without gaining any buff or debuff, they finally settled down.

They poured out the erald green liquid from the large nuts, leaving them with a perfect container.

Each player present prepared one of these large nuts.

According to Wangzai Little Buns’ estimate, each large nut could hold over 4 liters of liquid.

In this regard, Wangzai Little Buns was quite relieved because this ant she didn’t have to carry two large nuts by herself.

Soon, the players lifted the half-dead creature, and then brought the opening of the large nut close to collect the blood.

Wangzai Little Buns stood by, watching and estimating the amount of blood, and after a player collected a liter of blood, she let the next player take over.

This creature had a fair amount of blood, and after accounting for the blood that leaked away, they collected one and a half liters.

That ans one player had completed the task, and another player was halfway done.

Iron Black Pot, while picking a certain plant nearby, said: "Everyone, remove the blood-stained soil and throw it far away."

"Then squeeze the juice from this plant and drip it into the pit, to try to clean up the sll of blood."
