Now reading: Chapter 90: Come Move Bricks with Me from The Necromancer's Fourth Catastrophe, a Fantasy novel by Silent Fish.

These players from the second batch hurried over after seeing the update announcent.

Originally, they were newbies, and now they can finally beco veteran players.

They approached the group of newbies who were amazed by the ga’s realism: "Hey, newcors, still confused about what to do? Still captivated by the ga? Co with to move bricks, I’ll teach you how to beco a brick-moving pro, just a small fee."

Fang Ka glanced at these players from the side.

Noticing Fang Ka’s gaze, the players imdiately fell into line and quickly brought their collected Magic Potions to Fang Ka.

As usual, he accepted them, settled the rewards, and motioned for them to move along.

At this point, all the new players focused their attention on him.

Fang Ka nodded with satisfaction, then delivered the usual opening speech, and imdiately gave them a team task.

’Level 1 Team Task: Build an Outdoor Sacrificial Altar’

’Task Requirent: Build an outdoor sacrificial altar next to the Ancient Castle, with grand surrounding walls, and an interior that is imposing enough to accommodate ten thousand people.’

’Reward Pool: 30 Gold Coins, 50 experience, 500 points.’

This team task was not only issued to this third batch of newbie players; it is a level 1 team task.

The second batch of players are mostly still level 1 and haven’t reached level 2, so they can also accept this team task.

So the rewards might seem plentiful, but in reality, converted to the players’ shares, it amounts to about 10 Silver Coins per person, not much.

The main goal is to provide the third batch of players a good opportunity for integration, allowing them to quickly adapt to a grind-heavy environnt and fulfill their duty as enthusiastic participants.

As for why this team task was issued.

The main reason is that Fang Ka feels there will be more new players entering the ga in the future.

He thinks a solemn and sacred venue is necessary to serve as the birthplace for players.

This would add prestige, a stronger sense of belonging, and grandeur.

Later, the rfolk will bring bodies to the Sacrificial Altar, where they will cast the Necromancy Skeleton Skill to summon Undead Skeletons, providing new players with a vessel.

The requirent for walls is due to several reasons.

One reason is that during the summoning of Undead Skeletons, the dissolving of flesh might be unsettling, preventing players from seeing this process can protect so players’ ntal wellbeing, hence the significance of walls.

Another reason is that the walls can create a sense of mystery for players; apart from the new players being born there and residing for a while, no one else can enter, adding an air of mystery and prestige.

Additionally, Fang Ka plans to use it as an experintal venue in the future.

He can conduct so undisclosed alchemy experints there.

The Ancient Castle is too small, and with more players on the island, Fang Ka naturally needs a spacious yet private location.

The sacrificial altar fulfills this requirent perfectly.

Besides when welcoming new players, it serves as his private territory for conducting whatever alchemy experints he wants.

At this mont, all level 1 players received this team task prompt.

The second batch of players was stunned montarily, having not received a team task since cultivating Magic Potions a while ago.

Did they ride on the luck of the third batch of players?

Without hesitation, they all imdiately chose to accept and rushed towards the Ancient Castle.

The third batch of newbie players, after a brief stunned pause, also promptly chose to accept.

They had been following the ga for so ti, hearing veteran players boast on various forums, gaining a basic understanding.

And upon accepting the task, the ga panel was activated.

Those second batch players went up to the nurous third batch newbie players: "Brothers, when we first ca in, we also received a construction task, see the rfolk Town over there? We built it with our own hands, what do you think? Beautiful, right?"

"Together, we can surely build a world-class sacral altar."

A third batch player stepped forward, pointing towards the direction of the rfolk Base: "You an those buildings in the distance?"

The player nodded imdiately: "Yes, those buildings, what do you think? Are they beautiful?"

The third batch player examined them carefully and nodded: "Yeah, the layout and planning are quite nice, aesthetically pleasing too, who was the architect for rfolk Village? Who drew the blueprints?"

"Before my career change, I was into architecture, I find this interesting, allow to introduce myself, my platform nickna is Lord Xu, you can call Xu, or Lord."

"I’ve got so ideas for this Sacrificial Altar, I think I could draw the designs, but of course, the brother who designed rfolk Village can discuss it with too."

Another third batch player ca over: "Lord? Oh co on, you even have the nerve to take advantage of a man’s na?"

Lord Xu clearly tensed up before turning to look at the other: "Brother, you talk in such a funky way, what’s your na?"

This player’s mouth twisted into a terrifying and sleazy grin: "Actually, you already ntioned my nickna, my platform nickna is A Bit Saucy Speaker, if you don’t mind, you can call Brother Sao."

"Of course, Sao Bro is also fine, I’m well-versed in ancient and modern tis, I don’t mind."

Lord Xu’s eyes lingered briefly on A Bit Saucy Speaker: "Then I’ll call you Xiao Sao."

A Bit Saucy Speaker frowned imdiately: "Huh? Out of dozens of nas, you picked the most unpleasant and insulting one, hey, how about calling Da Sao?"

Lord Xu paused briefly: "Alright, Da Sao."

A Bit Saucy Speaker nodded in satisfaction: "Ah, feels much better, I can tolerate other things, but not ’Xiao’."

Lord Xu was too lazy to engage further, his eyes returned to the second batch player: "Brother, why are you silent now?"

The second batch player laughed awkwardly: "Well, uh, that person went into a dungeon, and he couldn’t take on that team task, if you can, draw sothing for us to see, will you?"

"If it’s feasible, let’s just get started, we have ready-made brick kilns and bricks, plenty of wood and stone on the island too."

Hearing this, Lord Xu nodded: "Let’s go, find a place elsewhere, I’ll use a branch to sketch the rough plan on the ground, if everyone’s satisfied, you can follow my instructions for construction."
