One must admit, these players are truly dedicated. Standing by the window, you can see the walls have already started to rise, and the areas that require tiling are almost finished.
In the center of the sacrificial altar, a round foundation has been dug, left untouched for now, seemingly intended for the construction of a massive circular platform.
Seeing this progress, Fang Ka nodded in satisfaction.
The dedication of these players is undeniable and certainly comndable.
Fang Ka returned to the front of the ancient castle, where the Purple rfolks had already moved down half of the corpses, and the first batch of veteran players had completely left, clearly eager to dive back into the Gana Forbidden Domain.
Seeing everything as he intended, Fang Ka returned to his lounge chair for ditation until evening, when he finally got up and headed to the beach.
He had promised Xia Lin to co every evening to resolve her doubts, and he could not break his word.
He could also take the opportunity to check on Xia Lin’s progress in learning magic.
As he walked along to the beach, he soon saw Xia Lin sitting on a reef reading a book.
Her beautiful fish tail was curled up, the pink scales glimring with a soft pink hue under the moonlight. The book rested on her curled-up tail, and she gently held the pages on either side, engrossed in her reading.
The moonlight accentuated her jade-like profile exquisitely, and the gentle breeze swayed her long, flowing hair slightly, adding a touch of ethereal beauty to her elegant profile, presenting a stunning scene of a rmaid under the moon.
However, Noel beside her sowhat marred the picturesque view.
At this mont, Noel was lying beside Xia Lin, sprawled out in a cross shape on the reef, her tail occasionally lifting and falling, gently tapping the reef.
Fang Ka’s sight was excellent, allowing him to clearly see the glistening drool at the corner of Noel’s mouth.
She was likely dreaming of so delicious food...
Fang Ka’s arrival quickly drew Xia Lin’s attention from her book.
Her eyes brightened slightly, and she hurriedly yet carefully placed her book on the alchemy platform on the reef, using a rock on the side to press down on it, before jumping into the water and swimming towards Fang Ka.
In no ti, she reached Fang Ka, offering him a reserved smile. "Fang Ka ntor, you’ve co?"
Fang Ka nodded at her, then glanced towards Noel.
At this mont, Noel unconsciously wiped the drool at the corner of her mouth with her hand, then turned over, her small mouth beginning to smack crazily.
No one could know what delicious food she was dreaming of.
Noticing Fang Ka’s gaze, Xia Lin glanced in the sa direction. "I’m sorry, Fang Ka ntor, she’s been practicing all day and was exhausted and bored, so she wanted to take a rest. I didn’t expect you to see her like this..."
Clearly, Xia Lin had also realized Noel’s poor sleeping manners.
Previously, Noel rarely rested at this ti, usually not until midnight.
Mainly, Fang Ka’s words had inspired her last night, making her exceptionally excited, so she hadn’t slept since last night, focusing on practicing battle energy.
And then, she couldn’t hold on any longer and finally took a rest.
The practice of knights and mages differs, as mages can actually count ditation cultivation as a form of light sleep, helping to compensate for sleep.
In contrast, knights, when practicing battle energy, experience a more intense and conscious state, usually leading to fatigue.
Fang Ka waved his hand. "It’s fine, why don’t you tell what questions you had today, and I’ll resolve them for you."
Noel’s deanor seed out of place with Xia Lin, yet independently, there was a unique appeal to it.
Xia Lin gently nodded, then cautiously glanced at Fang Ka, beginning to express her confusions.
These questions caused Fang Ka to reflect deeply, as he had once asked these of Kain himself.
Thus, he began to incorporate Kain’s answers, explaining them to Xia Lin in a more detailed and understandable manner.
Listening to Fang Ka’s detailed explanations, Xia Lin’s eyes shone slightly.
Once Fang Ka had answered all her questions, she imdiately offered a grateful smile to him. "Fang Ka ntor, thank you for clearing my doubts. I now understand everything that previously confused and puzzled ."
Fang Ka reached out to pat Xia Lin’s head. "Well done, your talent in the alchemy domain is no lesser than mine. I initially thought that many of these questions might need multiple explanations for you to understand."
"I didn’t expect that you’d grasp all these issues imdiately, truly refreshing my opinion of you once more."
Xia Lin shyly shrank her head. "Fang Ka ntor, how could I compare to you? The reason I could understand all the questions quickly is entirely due to your explanations being so detailed, understandable, and excellent."
Fang Ka was quite pleased hearing this, becoming more content with Xia Lin, as flattery is sothing that always lifts the spirits.
Especially when Fang Ka could see that Xia Lin’s words ca sincerely from her heart, rather than being re perfunctory complints.
What pleases a teacher the most? Hearing others praise their teaching, especially when the praise cos from none other than their own student.
"Xia Lin, have you practiced those Dark Magic spells I taught you? How much has your Dark Elent affinity improved? When will you be able to perfectly perform the ’Nightmare Beast Contract’?"
Fang Ka spoke with a slightly serious tone, asking Xia Lin.
This was crucial, as it concerned the broader direction in the future.
Xia Lin pondered for a while before speaking. "Fang Ka ntor... I’ve been practicing, and at my current pace, I should be able to perfectly perform the ’Nightmare Beast Contract’ in about seven days... Is that a bit slow?"
Fang Ka was imdiately stunned, taking a while to regain his composure.
To successfully cast a spell, one must have a comnsurate degree of affinity within its system.
Perfect execution ans being able to successfully cast the spell every ti, requiring an even higher level of magic affinity.
The higher the tier of the magic, the more exaggerated the requirent for magic affinity becos.
Bear in mind, the ’Nightmare Beast Contract’ is a high-tier spell, not so basic or low-tier or middle-tier magic.
He had originally thought that dedicating substantial ti each day to practicing magic would take Xia Lin at least over a month to achieve perfect execution, but her response was incredibly unexpected.
It was then he recalled a book he had read, where it ntioned that the rate of improvent in magic affinity depends on a mage’s own Spiritual Power and Magic Power’s affinity for elents.
This is different from cultivation speed, which depends on the Demon Source itself.
Xia Lin’s cultivation speed was, of course, quite good and fell within the normal range, but the speed at which her magic affinity was improving was certainly extraordinary.
