Inside the chaos, Datch, the Primarch, the Living Saint, and others ruthlessly beat up Kairos.

Everyone attacked him with punches, kicks, spears, and swords, leaving this Lord of Change battered and bruised.

Both his heads drooped to the ground, his swollen eyes dim and lifeless. He lay there on his last breath.

Countless Tzeentchian daemons charged madly, trying to rescue the Fateweaver from the claws of the accursed.

However, their assault was firmly blocked by the Ultramarines, Grey Knights, Sisters of Battle, and others—making it impossible to get close to the Lord of Change.

Once Kairos was confird half-dead and utterly incapable of resistance,

Datch opened the shop interface and exchanged for a golden-quality Master Ball.

After all, it was the highest-level Pokéball, capable of capturing legendary-tier Pokémon.

Its exorbitant price made Datch feel like his heart was bleeding.

These devs are the worst—why can't they just give out free items in easy mode?!

"Beco my Servant, you foolish double-headed bird."

Datch tossed the Master Ball at the dying Kairos.

Originally, he intended to make Kairos a Pokémon, but since the thing dared to attack him, he was demoted to a Servant.

The Master Ball traced a perfect arc through the air, striking Kairos's body.

The ball opened, releasing a golden-red light a hundred tis stronger than an ordinary Pokéball, enveloping the Lord of Change.

Kairos, gravely injured and near death, turned into a streak of light and was completely absorbed into the ball.

It closed, landed steadily, and remained still.

After a while, there were no cracks on the Master Ball—it was obviously a successful capture.

"Yes! Done!"

Datch pumped his fist in excitent, rushed over in a few steps, bent down, and picked up the Master Ball, weighing it in his hand.

"Heh! Got myself a Chaos Daemon Prince—who else can do that?"

"Give enough ti, and I'll catch all the Daemon Princes in the Warp and complete a collection achievent... Heh, by then, the Chaos Gods will be nothing but heads on stakes!"

Guilliman and the others watched in shock.

The first ti Datch used a Pokéball to capture a daemon,

they were having a eting at Hera Fortress and only read the after-action reports submitted by others.

At the ti, they thought those reports were greatly exaggerated.

How could a Chaos Daemon be captured so easily?

Now, seeing it with their own eyes, they realized that anything was possible with this Naless One.

,,,

anwhile, deep within the warp's Crystal Labyrinth...

Countless Tzeentchian daemons wandered through the ever-changing corridors—so peered into and twisted the fates of mortals, others sought esoteric knowledge or wove sinister plots.

The most ancient, cunning, and elusive Lord of Change—Amon 'Chakai, whose power nearly matched Tzeentch itself—was watching the destiny crystal, capable of reflecting the fate of all beings.

Thus, he was the first to learn of Kairos's captured.

The news spread rapidly through the domain of Tzeentch, shocking countless daemons.

Kairos, who could foresee past and future, had been captured.

He was the Fateweaver, the best at precognition among all Lords of Change.

He had once been cast into the Well of Eternity, spending countless ages there, witnessing things even Tzeentch itself had never seen.

Kairos's right head could see all futures; his left, all pasts.

This ability was invaluable, but its side effects were severe.

Kairos could see the past and future, but not the present, nor could he sense the passage of ti.

Still, he was clever and cautious—whenever sothing seed off, he'd flee without hesitation.

Yet now, he'd fallen to the just-awakened Primarch.

Amon 'Chakai turned to the labyrinth's depths.

"Master, was Kairos's capture by the Primarch part of your plan as well?"

After the question, a deathly silence filled the air.

Many Tzeentchian daemons stopped their work, silently turning to gaze at the labyrinth's depths.

The Changer of Ways stared at the garbled threads of fate, lost in silence.

He loved the chaotic shifting of destiny, but this was clearly out of control.

The Primarch wasn't even the greatest threat now.

The greatest threat was that Naless One.

Whenever the threads of fate touched him, they unraveled and vanished into nothingness—as did those affected by him.

If this continued, the destinies of all beings in the galaxy would dissolve into nothingness.

Tzeentch tried to trace the Naless One, to pierce the fog around him.

But no matter how hard it tried, all it could see was void.

Damn it, where did this guy co from?!

"Master?" With no response for a long ti, Amon 'Chakai cautiously asked again.

After waiting for a long nine seconds, a faint voice finally drifted from the shifting depths of the maze.

"Yes..."

"Yes, all of this is part of the plan..."

...

With Kairos sealed in the Master Ball and reduced to Datch's Servant,

the morale of the Lord of Change's forces aboard the Macragge's Honour plumted, and they were slaughtered by Imperial troops in a one-sided massacre.

Sicarius beca a precise killing machine—each flash of his power sword took a head or cleaved a daemon body in two.

Living Saint Celestine sang hymns, leading the Sisters of Battle as a golden purifying flood. Wherever they went, daemons perished in holy fire.

Inquisitor Greyfax and Grand Master Voldus of the Grey Knights used their psychic powers to pulverize groups of Tzeentchian vanguards and tricksters.

Even the great Archmagos Cawl took personal command, as the Adeptus chanicus and their battle servitors ford an iron wall, spitting storms of bullets and energy beams at daemons—efficiently cleaning house.

The daemon incursion was completely broken and the warp corruption gradually purged.

Victory ca at a price: many interior chambers of the Macragge's Honour were damaged, so systems needed ti to repair, and the crew was in urgent need of rest.

After the last daemon was expelled, the Primarch announced victory to all.

Datch eagerly rushed off to heal all the Imperial soldiers with exclamation marks over their heads and earn points.

But after exchanging for the expensive Master Ball, he was almost broke.

anwhile, Guilliman and the others convened an ergency eting to discuss next steps.

Living Saint Celestine raised her suggestion again.

"The signal from that world... it's no coincidence. My visions and revelations grow clearer. There may be a key there to help us leave the Maelstrom faster and reach Terra sooner. The nexus of fate is there—we shouldn't avoid it."

Guilliman stood before the strategic star map, unconsciously tapping the edge of the console.

To explore a lost Eldar world deep in the Maelstrom just for a mysterious signal was obviously risky.

But, considering Celestine's prophecies had proven accurate many tis, Guilliman thought it over and nodded.

"Then let's head to the surface and investigate this mysterious signal."

Decision made, they took their troops aboard transports to the surface,

tracked the signal, and in a grand, ruined Eldar temple, found an ancient transmitter.

Guilliman and Cawl imdiately recognized it as a standard model from the 30K era—long obsolete in the current Imperium.

Just as they puzzled over why such an old transmitter was here,

a team composed of Fallen Angels and Eldar appeared before them.
