Tang Rao nodded.
He quickly went out. Outside the Kao Shan Sect, people holding torches ford a long line, never-ending, and as ti passed, the crowd grew larger.

Li Ze's voice was loud and clear; as soon as he spoke, all sounds ceased abruptly.

The opposing side sent a representative to state their demands.
"We're feasting?"
Li Ze thought he misheard.

The tone of their words made it sound so justified.
"But this is our food, the result of our hard work. If you want to eat, you should go find your own. What does it have to do with us?"
The representative realized Li Ze didn't intend to share the food; instead, he just chuckled.
"No matter what, we don't care; we're victims of a disaster and have nothing to eat. If we have nothing to eat, we'll rebel, we'll make noise, we'll resist."
These weren't victims; clearly, they were a bunch of troublemakers, brazenly demanding food as if it was their right.
Li Ze found it difficult; he believed these people were capable of doing anything for food.
The people outside noticed Li Ze wasn't responding, and their anxiety heightened. If the people inside retreated, they would co up with more thods than before.
