Tang Rao took the book handed over by Liu Tao. The book was too thick, but he hoped there would be other findings besides the star formation.
As Tang Rao was beaming with delight, a sarcastic voice suddenly appeared.

Tang Rao turned around and saw a man with a full beard standing arrogantly at the door.

Liu Tao's brother was so arrogant. If it were Tang Rao, he would have dealt with him on the spot, but this was Liu Tao's brother, and Tang Rao didn't know him well. He was unaware of the issues between him and Liu Tao, making it inconvenient for him to make subjective judgnts.

"Manager Tang, you should leave first. I have so personal grievances to settle with my brother, and I hope you can understand."

Tang Rao decisively thought that he would eventually have to confront Liu Tao's brother. He would not be cowed by his deanor and at least make a stance to back Liu Tao, right?

Liu Tao steeled his resolve, thinking he needed to know how Liu Yu got in before taking Tang Rao to see Dad.
"Do you think just because Dad told you the way into the Treasure Vault, I can't get in? The Treasure Vault is shared property of our Liu Family, not just yours, Liu Tao."
Tang Rao fully understood now. As Zhang Wang had said, the Liu Family wasn't easy to deal with. Liu Yu alone had shown Tang Rao as much, not to ntion the others he might encounter later.
"Liu Tao, why don't we go see your dad? That way, I won't be accused of stealing. What do you think?"
Tang Rao was rely borrowing a book. Why should he be labeled a thief? Soone with his reputation couldn't afford such a scandal.

Liu Tao thought the sa. His resentnt with Liu Yu had run deep, and seeing the head of the family was the best option besides fighting.

Liu Yu walked in front, continually glancing back to ensure Liu Tao and Tang Rao weren't trying to escape.
