Others might not be aware of the backing behind Zhou Yong, but Liu Yu knows very well. Tang Rao might not know who Zhou Yong is, but Liu Yu does; Zhou Yong, this big shot whom Liu Yu held in such high regard, fearing any mistake, ended up getting punched into the ground by Tang Rao. Zhou Yong will likely live in fear from now on, wanting to flee whenever he sees Tang Rao.
"Tang Rao, do you know who he is? If you kill him, you, my father, and my entire Liu Family are finished."
Liu Yu promptly rushed out to stop Tang Rao's actions.
Nobody can kill this person. At least none present at the scene can take his life, unless they're courting disaster.
"Oh, so he's such a big deal? If you knew that provoking him would ruin your whole Liu Family, why would you stay so close to him?"
Tang Rao asked without thinking.
Exactly, if you already guessed the dangers of this person, you shouldn't maintain such close ties with him.
Tang Rao withdrew his hand, and Zhou Yong struggled to climb out of the dirt mound.
From their brief encounter, Zhou Yong swiftly realized he was no match for Tang Rao. Even though they were both mid-tier gods, Tang Rao's power was significantly greater than Zhou Yong's.
Zhou Yong, eager for a montary thrill, found he was no opponent for Tang Rao.
Ignoring Liu Yu, Zhou Yong fled the scene the mont he erged from the mound, disappearing from everyone's sight.
Liu Yu, relieved nonetheless, was thankful that Zhou Yong didn't die when with Liu Yu. Liu Yu was satisfied as long as Zhou Yong didn't seek revenge against him because of Tang Rao.
"This guy's like a turtle, no—a cowardly turtle. Why flee so fast? I'm not planning to kill you."
Tang Rao sighed.
He indeed had no intention of killing Zhou Yong. An underwhelming second-generation rich boy wasn't worth Tang Rao personally dealing with.
"What are you still standing here for, planning sothing? Want to let you experience being a mole too?"
Liu Yu dared not curse Tang Rao head-on—Zhou Yong was his cautionary tale. Seeing Zhou Yong's miserable state, all Liu Yu could think of was escaping.
He fled too, but Tang Rao let Liu Yu go on purpose. This clumsy kid wasn't even half as good as Liu Tao, and Tang Rao couldn't see any use in keeping him around.
"Tang Rao, Xiao Bai is missing!"
While Tang Rao pondered life's philosophy, chaos erupted in the Gentle Village.
Monts before, the ladies greeting him with smiles now wore mournful faces, placing all their hopes on Tang Rao.
"What? Where did Tang Xiaobai go missing?"
Without another word, Tang Rao rushed into the Gentle Village, to the third floor. Li Shengxuan was already faint from crying on the small bed where Tang Xiaobai had been sleeping.
"It was this room. Sheng Xuan saw Xiao Bai asleep and, noticing nothing warm enough in the room, went next door to ask for a blanket. But in the blink of an eye, Xiao Bai disappeared."
The doors and windows were intact, just minus a person. Tang Rao couldn't fathom where Tang Xiaobai could have gone in such a short ti.
"Clear the Gentle Village. Leave no corner unchecked on these floors."
In such little ti, who could take soone away so stealthily?
Unless they had considerable strength, otherwise how did none of the Supre Powers notice?
With Tu Hongxiu leading, several won accompanied Kao Shan Sect's skilled fighters, starting a search around the area.
Looking for a child, there were plenty of people in the Gentle Village. Tang Rao opened the window to begin searching around for Tang Xiaobai's whereabouts.
If he didn't co in through the door, could it be through the window?
If soone had phased through the wall, the Divine Power fluctuation would have drawn attention. Jumping off the wall seed like the best option.
Tang Rao jumped to the base of the wall and found one of Tang Xiaobai's socks there.
The kidnapper must have been in a rush, leaving no ti to notice the lost sock.
Tang Rao almost wanted the Gentle Village folks to stop searching, thinking the child wasn't inside after all. But then another thought struck—what if this sock was a decoy? Perhaps the child was still in the Gentle Village, not taken away at all. Tang Rao weighed these conflicting thoughts but ultimately chose to split up for the search.
"Supre Power, co search outside with for Xiao Bai."
Tang Rao enlisted the help of Supre Power. Soone who could take a child so unnoticed must have considerable strength.
Tang Rao wanted to search on his own, but what if they were a formidable opponent? With Supre Power, it would add a layer of security.
Supre Power jumped from the window, landing directly on the ground.
He advised Tang Rao to stay put, using Immortal Energy to sweep through the surrounding grass, revealing the footprints.
"The footprints lead southwest."
Supre Power stated with confidence.
Although Tang Rao didn't know how he knew, he had always trusted Supre Power's words implicitly.
Southwest?
Heading southwest, Tang Rao pondered what could be in that direction. Perhaps an enemy of his he'd forgotten about?
Yet he realized he had never been southwest; what enemy could be there?
"Supre Power, can you now determine which direction southwest?"
Tang Rao grew anxious, pressing Supre Power for more details, but Supre Power had nothing more to disclose.
"Can't determine."
This was the truth; Supre Power hadn't even told Tang Rao about the kidnapper's strength, which might even surpass Supre Power himself.
Now wasn't the ti to scare Tang Rao further; any word of it would've sent him into shock!
"Tang Rao, let's go check. The southwest is complicated; you should ntally prepare."
See, that's why Supre Power knew those words couldn't be uttered.
Upon hearing them, Tang Rao tensed up even more, worried about any misfortune befalling Tang Xiaobai.
"Damn it, if I find out who took Tang Xiaobai, I'll teach them a lesson on the spot!"
A new father like Tang Rao had a fire within, almost igniting his eyebrows in rage.
"Tang Rao, stay calm; getting worked up ruins everything. We'll deal with it when we get there."
Supre Power had a bad feeling but couldn't pinpoint the source. The southwest was a realm for demons and gods, a place for the strong—Tang Rao shouldn't even be interference.
They finally reached the southwest corner's gate; as they approached, Tang Rao was stopped.
"Who are you?"
On Tang Rao's turf, he'd dismiss these guards with a, "Why do you care who I am?" But now wasn't the ti for bravado; Tang Rao had to bow his head.
