The spider silk was burned away, not even leaving ashes behind. As Tang Rao freed himself from the constraints, his hair was once again singed to nothing.

Of course, Little Fire Ginseng dared not ntion its earlier mishap, and Tang Rao still didn't realize that his head was now bald.

"Big Spider, what did I tell you? I said it would be no problem. Many want to drink my Tang Rao's blood, but you're definitely not one of them."

The Big Spider had nothing to say, because it communicated through action, showing Tang Rao that it wasn't just so pushover to be easily handled.

Except for its mouth, the Big Spider spun webs all over its body. Tang Rao was trapped, unable to move forward or back, and when he tried to dig down, he found that the spider had laid traps underground, waiting for him to walk right into them.

"Looks like you don't intend to let kill you."

Tang Rao was sowhat annoyed as he spoke. He just wanted to kill the spider for its Crystal Core; it was such a small request that should have been easily agreed to.

Tang Rao summoned Little Fire Ginseng, and countless Dan Fires burst forth. The spider silk instantly turned to ash. Watching its painstakingly arranged Array suddenly turn into this, the spider's anger had nowhere to go, so it simply compared its raw strength with Tang Rao.

The spider began to secrete a green Poison Liquid from its body. Seeing the oozing Poison Liquid made Tang Rao's skin crawl, as he didn't know how potent it was, which imdiately made him feel uneasy inside.

"Neurotoxin, go!"

Countless streams of green liquid sprayed toward Tang Rao, but he had anticipated this and was busy dodging as the liquid flew toward him.

"You think you're the only one with poison? I don't have any?"

Tang Rao threw a self-made, enhanced version of "Laughing Half-Step Dentia," but the effect wasn't great. The spider didn't even manage a chuckle before it collapsed to the ground.

"So fast?"

The setting of the Divine Realm wasn't supposed to be like this.

Why was it so weak that just one dose knocked down this huge creature?

"Sorry, I didn't expect you couldn't handle it. If possible, I would've liked to exchange pointers with you."

Tang Rao looked down at the giant creature, feeling quite excited. He put on gloves, and a dagger appeared in his hand. In a flash, the dagger swept over every nook of the spider's body.

"Sorry, my old buddy, it's not that I don't want to give you the dignity of a fallen beast, but I warned you in advance and you didn't listen, so I did sothing so extre."

With the Crystal Core in hand, Tang Rao was bouncing with energy.

"I thought for sure that an evil creature like you wouldn't have a crystal core, but surprisingly, I got it."

The Crystal Core should not see the light of day; if soone were to see it, Tang Rao would find it hard to explain.

With one Crystal Core obtained, Tang Rao swayed as he continued forward. He thought he could make his way to the inner circle smoothly, but in fact he didn't. Now, hordes of spiders surrounded him.

"Did you kill my father?"

A spider slightly smaller than the previous one led the other spiders to block Tang Rao's path.

So many small creatures, if Tang Rao took them on one by one, even if they weren't strong, it'd still consu a lot of ti. Tang Rao was calculating how to deal with them in the shortest ti possible, but in reality, the spiders had already surrounded him, approaching with Poison-coated bodies. At the front was the Suicide Team, who knew death awaited them but still fearlessly stood at the forefront, ready for a fight with Tang Rao.

"Little Spider, looking for your dad?"

Tang Rao pointed at the ground, where there lay a mass of black, fragnted bodies—his handiwork. His skilled knife work left all the pieces able to be pieced back into a whole Big Spider.

"Really sorry about this, but your dad had sothing I really wanted. To make him obedient, I had to kill him."

Tang Rao wasn't the least bit apologetic; with the son of the spider confronting him, Tang Rao felt no guilt whatsoever.

"Capture him alive for ; I want to make him wish he were dead."

Tens of thousands of spiders marched in unison, launching a grand attack on Tang Rao.

Though their individual strength posed no threat to Tang Rao, their sheer numbers made it a bit troubleso.

Hundreds of spiders at the front were scorched on the ground by Tang Rao's Dan Fire, their shells still as black as before.

Seeing him kill their comrades, the spiders behind ford a special vengeance team, launching an even fiercer attack on Tang Rao.

One wonders how many more Crystal Cores could be found within these spiders?

Trying to eliminate all these tens of thousands of spiders was draining Tang Rao's effort.

"Look, your little soldiers aren't my match. How about we discuss sothing? Once it's settled, this can be over, how does that sound?"

As Tang Rao slaughters my soldiers, he cheerfully suggests so negotiation. Who would dare believe such words?

"No need, a father's murder cannot be forgiven!"

The spider's son was still imrsed in the fact that Tang Rao had killed its dad, and it was a decidedly unpleasant feeling.

"Have it your way then. Just ans I get to practice fighting with you all!"

Tang Rao ignited Dan Fire in both hands. He dared not poison the Dan Fire directly, fearing it would destroy the Crystal Core's energy, so he resolved to burn the spiders alive to preserve the freshness of their Crystal Cores.

The Little Spiders couldn't withstand the firepower at all, and to Tang Rao's surprise, none of them had Crystal Cores. Could it be that only the largest lead spider possessed one?

"Since the rest of you are useless, I'll just burn you all to ash!"

The Dan Fire grew larger, burning the spiders and setting the mountainside ablaze.

"Burn to death? Not so easily!"

The spider's son quickly responded, urging the Little Spiders to flee while it, like the Big Spider, stubbornly spun webs at Tang Rao, thinking they'd trap him.

The spider's son died rather miserably, getting charred by a single blast of fla from Little Fire Ginseng while spinning webs.

Tang Rao didn't need to check; he was sure this pile of charcoal had no Crystal Core.

What a waste of ti!

Looking at the heap, Tang Rao was filled with fury.

The mountain burned; burned it might, Tang Rao could ignore it, except that the fire spread too quickly. If it kept up, the precious spiritual materials and treasures on the mountain might all get torched, leaving Tang Rao nothing to search for.

No, Tang Rao flew into the air and drew water from the river of his portable palace to extinguish the disaster his fire had nearly caused.

Luckily, the spiritual materials and treasures within were unhard.

Tang Rao patted his own heart in relief.
