An Sheng was brainwashed by An Heng, and he started concocting countless pitiful words in his mind, ready to have an emotional outburst in front of his grandfather. However, when he reached his grandfather's residence, his uncle suddenly appeared.

"Uncle, I saw the Zhang Family becoming increasingly defiant against our control, even seeking outside allies to oppose us. My father used the alliance's strength to block Old Zhang's path, all for the sake of the An Family."
Talking to this uncle is even harder than facing his grandfather. If he carelessly utters a wrong word, his uncle could seize upon it and report to grandfather, further souring grandfather's opinion of them. It would be too costly.
An Yun clearly knows what An Sheng and An Heng are up to.

An Heng saw An Sheng return, assuming he hadn't t the old man — another wasted promising day.
"Grandfather hasn't broken through; I couldn't see him even if I wanted to. But uncle was waiting at grandfather's door. I ntioned it to him. Guess what, father? Uncle has strong opinions on the Zhang Family and long intended to take action."
