The giant dragon looked down on Tang Rao, blatantly and from the inside out.
After Tang Rao endured the first drop of blood mist, a second drop of Dragon Blood transford into mist once again enveloped him, and the intense pain was even worse than before.
Tens of thousands of ants gnawed at Tang Rao's blood, eating his flesh, eroding him bit by bit, without giving him a chance to resist.
His whole body was hot, painful, and steaming, but this ti, Tang Rao stubbornly didn't utter a sound.
The giant dragon found it incredible; the second drop of blood offers the most apparent restorative and nourishing effects, the step that could make life worse than death, ten tis more painful than opening the ridians with the first drop. A third drop of Dragon Blood mist erged, an extravagant gift the giant dragon could offer; no one had ever taken three drops from the giant dragon's hands.
Tang Rao was an exception.
As soon as the third mist surrounded Tang Rao, he felt sothing wrong with his body; the ridians that were previously fractured started healing after the nourishnt from the first and second drops, over half had successfully repaired. However, the third drop of Dragon Blood shattered all of the previously restored ridians into useless debris.
Was the giant dragon trying to destroy Tang Rao or save him? Tang Rao, his mind nearly lost due to the pain, where did he have ti to contemplate?
"Dragon Mother, do you regret it, or are you playing with ?"
Tang Rao's bloodshot eyes showed no light, his gaze listlessly fell upon the giant dragon; after three drops of Dragon Blood, Tang Rao felt he had completely died three tis.
"With three drops of Dragon Blood given to you, do you think I'm playing with you or saving you?"
The Dragon Mother spoke while dispersing the blood mist, having completed her task.
"What does three drops of Dragon Blood matter, my ridians that were just about repaired have all been shattered by you, now it's nearly impossible to fix them again, is this saving ?"
If he had known when the third drop of mist appeared, Tang Rao should have refused earlier; at that ti, he would be at most severely injured, but not beco a cripple. Now, with his ridians broken, he was no different from a cripple.
"Isn't this saving you?"
The Dragon Mother assud Tang Rao was angry over sothing, and once she understood, her expression improved significantly.
"No destruction, no construction; destruction followed by construction. Operate your Dantian's Immortal Energy, and attempt to use it to traverse each shattered ridian. Finish them all before you judge whether I'm harming or helping you!"
The giant dragon was a bit angry; her goodwill was taken as harm by Tang Rao, even though these three drops of Dragon Blood were the giant dragon's accumulation over thousands of years.
Tang Rao didn't have ti to ponder the giant dragon's intentions now; with a mindset of treating a dead horse as if it was alive, he sat where he was, operated the Immortal Energy within his Dantian; with ridians broken, the energy entered one end and exited directly out the other end, unable to reach any of the other broken ridians.
After several fruitless attempts, he was about to open his eyes when the giant dragon spoke: "I only asked you to try using Immortal Energy to traverse all the ridians, not to try repairing them. With your current strength, attempting self-repair is impossible, but if you rely on Elixir Pills for restoration, it's just wasting my blood."
Is there no third possibility?
Tang Rao had no choice but to close his eyes and do as the giant dragon said.
Thousands of complete ridians, broken beyond recognition, multiplied into tens of thousands, and despite using the fastest speed to traverse them all, it still took Tang Rao several hours.
After finishing the last one, a fourth drop of Dragon Blood flew toward him.
Instinctively wanting to escape, to resist, but this ti, Tang Rao had no strength to resist.
With Immortal Energy traversing all ridians, Tang Rao didn't want to admit that the Immortal Energy within him was once again completely gone.
"My life and your son's are both in your hands now, are you not planning to stop?"
The Dragon Mother could harm Tang Rao with just a flick of her finger, but despite all Tang Rao's words of distrust and offense toward her, she only focused on the direction of the blood mist, not taking his words to heart.
The fourth drop of blood began to take effect within Tang Rao's body.
The fragnted and broken ridians started automatically repairing at a speed visible to the naked eye, much to Tang Rao's delight; the repaired ridians had thousands of tis the tensile strength of his previous ridians, and if Tang Rao wanted to compress the fire-attribute Immortal Energy Bomb, the compression strength would simultaneously increase, and the power, what need to be said?
It's a good thing he had been cursing the Dragon Mother earlier, she, aged as she was, didn't take it personally; whatever Tang Rao said, she didn't take to heart nor gave him the deserved punishnt for speaking out of turn.
"Dragon Mother, I lost control of my emotions a little earlier, you probably won't take it to heart, right?"
With all ridians repaired, Tang Rao's face had two patches of blush.
That 'bashful' look might charm many young girls; it's a pity the Dragon Mother wasn't human and lacked human aesthetic sensibilities, feeling nothing for Tang Rao's handsoness.
"If I took you seriously, wouldn't all my years of cultivation be in vain?"
Why describe myself this way, why can't words be more kind?
With an unchanged expression and a steady heart, swearwords wrapped in gentility, Tang Rao truly wanted to learn a trick or two.
"It's good that Dragon Mother doesn't take seriously; my ridians are all repaired. Thank you for your blood to save earlier."
Tang Rao truly had no idea what Dragon Blood ant, nor what four drops represented.
"Hmph!"
Dragon Mother snorted coldly; it was only for her son that she even cared to rescue Tang Rao, let alone share the precious Dragon Blood with him.
"Why don't you tell your son first, I'm afraid if I go in, your son will call out and break my ridians again, I can't withstand that kind of intense stimulation."
Tang Rao didn't want his ridians to break all over again and be tornted by the Dragon Mother's blood; he made a prior gesture toward the Dragon Mother, asking her to first communicate with the Dragon Cub to prevent any subsequent misunderstandings and friction.
"It's fine; you have my blood now. At this mont, it can't distinguish between you and ; it will treat you as if you're , so you needn't worry."
Taking Tang Rao for Dragon Mother?
