Hearing that Tang Rao had already turned around, Bei Lin hesitantly followed suit.
Through the mist, only a hazy silhouette can be seen, the muscular back covered with scars. Scars on a woman would bring sorrow; scars on a man are marks of valor.
Tang Rao is the first man to bare his body in front of Bei Lin. According to the customs of East Island, once a man and a woman see each other's naked bodies, either party can propose marriage.

Bei Lin was startled, worrying the poison in Tang Rao might have mutated, and almost jumped in to rescue him, only to be stopped at the last mont by Tang Rao: "Don't co over!"
His face was covered with red liquid, dripping down his hair and chin, back into the pool; he hadn't been this disheveled since journeying from the Land of Immortals to the Divine Realm, only to falter over a woman, making him doubt his abilities.
"I'm sorry, I thought you..." I thought sothing happened to you, I thought your life was in danger...
The rest of the words were kept inside; alone with a man, speaking them might cause misunderstanding, which wouldn't be good.
"I know my body best; I won't die anyti soon. You can leave first."
Technically, this was Bei Lin's territory, yet Tang Rao was displeased and treated himself as the master, asking the real owner to leave.
Fortunately, Bei Lin had a good temperant and didn't argue with Tang Rao, nor did she throw him out.
"Tang Rao, do you even know what you're saying? Before the poison acts up, nobody can detect anything wrong with your body. Once it does, how much ti do you think you have left?"
Bei Lin tried to see Tang Rao through the mist to check for any changes after subrging, and cleared her throat: "Can I see that black line on your body? Only by seeing it can I assess the current activity level of the poison in your body."
Bei Lin's words were based on reason; detoxification is similar to a doctor's diagnosis, requiring observation, consultation and touch, only then can conclusions be drawn.

Recognizing Bei Lin's goodwill, Tang Rao was not willing to suffer further, so he turned his body and stood up from the pool, leaving half of it out, with private parts subrged.
When Bei Lin didn't make things difficult for Tang Rao, Tang Rao wouldn't bother her either.
"Can you see clearly?"
From Tang Rao's perspective, he could see Bei Lin much clearer than if Bei Lin were to look into the pool.
He could see Bei Lin's flushed face, he could see the fine beads of sweat on her forehead and nose.
"Can't see clearly..."
She really couldn't see clearly, but if Tang Rao approached Bei Lin, his entire body would be exposed to her.
The vague feeling between them was still there; getting closer might just break that implied barrier. Were they really going to do this?
"Bring sothing to cover, I'll cover up part of myself so you can take a look."
Tang Rao wasn't shy, quickly offering a solution which Bei Lin agreed with.
She searched for a while; the lab had everything except a covering. With no other choice, she picked up Tang Rao's discarded clothes and handed them to him.
Tang Rao promptly tied it around his waist, then walked towards the edge of the pool.
"Take a look."
When Bei Lin opened her eyes, Tang Rao was already beside her; seeing those scars, her hand instinctively reached out to touch Tang Rao's body.
Her fingers landed right on those criss-crossing wounds.
Realizing her inappropriate action towards Tang Rao, she quickly withdrew her hand, glancing at Tang Rao, worried he might use it against her.
"Well... the life line of the Sa Fate Poison on you is extending; it's gone from your forehead to your calf. If I'm not mistaken, there must be accomplices around the person who poisoned you, and they've already t. The other party is desperately trying to treat the poisoner. "Aren't you scared studying poisons? Don't you need them in your hand to research?"
This girl was peculiar. If you're afraid of sothing, hide from them, the farther the better. Instead, you deliberately seek them out to research, to disgust yourself?
