"Maybe, with a bit more effort, Yun Xi will agree," said Yan Wei.
"Do you think I haven't tried hard enough?" Tang Rao asked.
In Illusion City, Yan Wei remained silent.
Everyone knew very well how Tang Rao felt about Yun Xi, and no one could deny the effort he had put in.
He had been chasing Yun Xi for a very long ti, yet Yun Xi truly showed no sign of interest.
Luo Lili had also tried to talk to Yun Xi several tis, but it seed like Yun Xi was always reluctant to face it.

After arriving under the won's dormitory building, Tang Rao dialed Yun Xi's number, which rang for a long ti without answer.
Then Tang Rao called Luo Lili.
She said they were out eating, and Yun Xi didn't bring her mobile phone.
Once Tang Rao got the address, he headed over.

"Tang Rao, co over and sit down, have you eaten yet?" Luo Lili warmly beckoned Tang Rao, while Yun Xi hardly reacted, she didn't even ask why Tang Rao had taken so long to return, or if anything had happened to him recently.
She didn't ask anything, and just sat there, expressionless.
"Xiao Xi, say sothing…" Luo Lili muttered quietly, giving Yun Xi a look.
Yun Xi didn't respond much.
"How have you been, Tang Rao? Is Yan Wei doing well?" Luo Lili interjected to break the awkward silence.
"Pretty good. I heard from Yan Wei that you guys are going to get married next month, congratulations in advance," Tang Rao said with a smile.
"Thank you so much," Luo Lili bead with happiness.
"When the ti cos, I'll prepare a big gift for you. By the way, you could actually go to the Moon after graduation, it's quite developed there now, and you would be able to see Yan Wei often," Tang Rao suggested.
"Wouldn't it be boring over there?"
"There aren't many people here, but you can always go back to Blue Star anyti. It only takes a few seconds to travel between," Tang Rao said with a smile.
"That does sound quite nice."
Tang Rao and Luo Lili had been speaking for quite a while, but Yun Xi had not interjected from start to finish, nor did Tang Rao speak to her.
"By the way, I have sothing to take care of, so I'll be leaving first. You can chat with Yun Xi," said Luo Lili as she stood up, preparing to leave.
It seed that there were so issues between Tang Rao and Yun Xi, so it was probably best to give them so private space.

Luo Lili was sowhat surprised, and Yun Xi next to her was also startled, lifting her head gently to look at Tang Rao.

"Why don't you talk to Yun Xi now that you're back," Luo Lili urged.
"No need," Tang Rao shook his head and then gestured for the waiter to settle the bill.

Yes, there was nothing more after 'only', she just didn't co out with it, she didn't even know why she had delayed for so long without agreeing to Tang Rao.
"Bang!" Suddenly, Luo Lili slamd her palm down on the table, causing the water in the glass to spill all over.
"Are you satisfied now?! You must be!" Luo Lili pointed at Yun Xi, the anger in her voice indescribable.
"You say you like Tang Rao, you say your heart flutters for Tang Rao, is that how you f**king like him? Shit!" Luo Lili cursed directly. If not for the fact that she and Yun Xi were best friends, she would have slapped her at this mont.
"I..."
"My ass!" Luo Lili was a bit explosive.
For Luo Lili, Tang Rao was a very good friend, even more, she was extrely grateful to him because without Tang Rao, she would not have t Yan Wei and would not have gotten to the point of marrying Yan Wei.
Her happiness, Tang Rao was a major contributor.
Anyone with eyes could see how much Tang Rao loved Yun Xi, but no matter what was said to Yun Xi, she just kept dragging it out.

If you would've just said you don't like Tang Rao, I would have felt better about it.

After Luo Lili left, Yun Xi collapsed on the sofa, her expression blank.
