Kokkai Hanwu knew he couldn't allow Han Wu to grow any stronger, so he imdiately invoked his authority as the Will of the Civilization to suppress him.
The Will represented the highest power within the civilization. No amount of raw strength could bypass its authority. Even a God King will have their power reduced under its influence.
However, Kokkai Hanwu had forgotten one thing. He was Han Wu as well.
The mont he made the decision to suppress Han Wu, the Will hesitated for a second. It had never expected Kokkai Hanwu to act with such ruthlessness that he would weaken himself even though the situation already worked against him.
In the end, the suppression descended. Under the Will, Han Wu's strength was forcibly reduced by 30%.
anwhile, Kokkai Hanwu's own strength had been lower than Han Wu's from the start, and his resistance to the Will was weaker. Under the sa suppression, his strength was cut in half.

Kokkai Hanwu burned with anger. He wanted to weaken Han Wu, yet the Will had weakened him instead.
Just as Kokkai Hanwu was about to change the conditions and restore his own strength, Han Wu moved, bringing endless darkness with him. He swung his dragon claw forward toward Kokkai Hanwu's dantian.
Kokkai Hanwu tried to dodge, but he wasn’t used to controlling a 10,000-ter-tall body.
The strike landed. The dragon claw, charged with Corrosive Energy, tore through Kokkai Hanwu's armor and ripped into his flesh.
At the last mont, Kokkai Hanwu used Bone Energy and ford spikes that burst from the ground, forcing Han Wu back. Han Wu had nearly torn his stomach open.
Han Wu was covered in dragon scales, so the spikes did nothing to him. This ti, he attacked from a different angle. His target was Kokkai Hanwu’s neck, the weak point of every giant in this civilization.
Kokkai Hanwu tried to defend himself while also searching for an opening to contact the Will of the Civilization. However, Han Wu's attacks were so relentless that he never got the chance to do so.
Kokkai Hanwu charged up and unleashed bone spikes that filled the entire area, but it still wasn't enough to buy him ti. After all, Han Wu could fly in his Black Dragon King form.
After several bouts, Han Wu bit into Kokkai Hanwu’s nape. The latter had lost.
Considering how special Kokkai Hanwu was, Han Wu didn't finish him off. Instead, he sealed and threw him into his divine realm for research.
Without Kokkai Hanwu secretly commanding the giants, the situation in the Giant Shadow Civilization beca much simpler. Under the assault of Han Wu's locust army, the vast majority of giants was devoured. The ninjas returned to their lands and beca the masters of this civilization again. Their paradise had been restored.
Han Wu's next step was to rge with the Will of the Giant Shadow Civilization so that he could beco the civilization’s true ruler.
The process would take a long ti, so Han Wu decided to leave his main body behind. This also ensured the safety of his units mining the Spirit Stones. Still, a mine of this scale was too much for him to handle alone.
Xu Hai stepped in, and after discussing with Han Wu, they reached an agreent. Han Wu sold 30% of the Spirit Stone mine’s rights to Imperial College. In return, the college would provide stronger protection and supply materials to construct a long-range teleportation gate that would transport the crystals in the future.
Han Wu accepted the deal because it ca from his master. Both sides ended up satisfied with the arrangent.
Once everything was settled, they boarded the ship. Han Wu split off an avatar that carried a part of his Divine Jurisdictions and Divine Powers to return to Imperial College with the ship. That way, he would continue his studies and restore Qin Shuang’s soul.
Han Wu and Jing Jing remained in the Giant Shadow Civilization to mine Spirit Stones and accelerate the absorption of the Will of the Civilization.
With the help of the ship thrusters developed by Kerry, the journey back was fast. It took only six years, which equaled about six days in the Divine Civilization.
After their return, Xu Hai compiled a full report and submitted it to his superiors. When the higher-ups learned that the group had returned with the souls of many students, they contacted their families and asked them to co retrieve their children.
Han Wu personally brought Qin Shuang's soul back to the Qin estate.
When Qin Shuang's parents heard the news, they burst into tears of joy. For the past few days, they had been overwheld with grief after losing their daughter. They had been unable to escape their despair.
The Qin family had also suffered quite a bit, as other families had taken advantage of the situation to stab them in the back because of what had happened to Qin Shuang. Now, however, as long as Qin Shuang returned, all of their problems would cease to exist.
"Why hasn't she co back yet? Why isn’t she here yet...?" Qin Shuang's father, Qin Hai, paced anxiously in the courtyard. He waited desperately for his daughter to return.
Finally, the butler pushed open the door. "The young lady is back!"
Cheers erupted as a few mbers of the Qin family rushed out to see. They watched Han Wu walk into the courtyard, carrying a crystal ball that was temporarily holding Qin Shuang's soul.
"Good! That's great!" Qin Hai hurried over to et them. Through the crystal ball, he saw the daughter that he had been thinking about day and night.
"My Qin Shuang, you're finally back." Qin Hai broke down again, crying with joy.
Han Wu said, "Uncle, let place Qin Shuang's soul back into her body."
"Yes, hurry. She is in her room. I'll show you the way." Qin Hai wiped his tears and quickly led the way toward Qin Shuang's room.
When they arrived, Han Wu looked around the room. It was clear that soone had been cleaning it regularly.
Qin Shuang lay on the bed, as if she were rely asleep. Han Wu stepped to the bedside, lifted the crystal ball, and placed it gently against Qin Shuang's forehead. He released a thread of his power and guided her soul back into her body.
The act looked simple, but it actually required soone with an incredibly strong soul to accomplish.
Qin Hai and the others watched from the side with tense expressions.
Finally, Han Wu guided Qin Shuang's soul back, and she opened her eyes.
"My daughter is back, hahaha. My daughter is finally awake!" Qin Hai cried out happily. Excitent overwheld him, and he jumped in place and waved his arms around.
When the rest of the Qin family outside heard his shout, they erupted in celebration as well. With Qin Shuang here, their family would have two Gods protecting them, which made them stronger than ordinary families with only a single God.
"Thank you, Han Wu," Qin Shuang said gratefully. Without him, she would have died in the Soul Kingdom.
"It's what I should do," Han Wu said softly as he held her delicate hand. He didn’t want to let go.
The Qin family mbers who witnessed this exchanged knowing smiles and silently left her room, giving them space to be alone.
