Han Wu’s sixth Divine Weapon was actually sothing of a misnor, being a piece of armor.

The Abyss effect massively increased resistance toward physical and elental attacks. The starting paraters placed the Abyss Armor as a typical, or even slightly weak, piece of defensive equipnt. Fortunately, he still had the three God-grade effects to choose from.
[1: Reflect (God): Exhaust durability to reflect all damage. The higher the damage, the more durability consud.]
[2: Iron Wall (God): Massively improves defensive capabilities. Durability increases tenfold every ti the Divine Weapon is upgraded.]
[3: Invulnerable (God): Attacks that cannot pierce through the Divine Weapon’s defenses are nullified.]
Han Wu carefully inspected each one. The first reflected his enemy’s attacks, granting protection to him while inflicting damage to his enemies at the sa ti. However, it had the critical flaw of rapid durability loss, especially against a barrage of weaker blows.
The second effect increased its durability, which was typical for armor-type Divine Weapons. A tenfold increase with each upgrade ant Han Wu would be a walking fortress after several upgrades.
The third appeared weak on the surface, but was actually pretty amazing. While attacks that could break through the armor’s defensive threshold would still hurt and consu durability, weaker attacks wouldn’t have any impact whatsoever. If Han Wu played his cards well, there was a good chance he could beco effectively immune to attacks.
After careful consideration, Han Wu chose the third effect, Invulnerable.
Aside from unlocking his sixth Divine Weapon, he had also gathered 75% of the essence necessary for his seventh as well. Based on his rate of progression, it would only take another two days or so to unlock it. His main concern was that the legendary Armant Spirit would appear before then.
He was about to check on the young masters and test their strength once again when mist suddenly enveloped him. The white mist soon encompassed the area, obscuring everything from sight.
Sun Qingnian was holding hands with Jin Tuantuan, yet he couldn’t even see her face.
“Han Wu, this mist is unnatural. Jin Tuantuan warns the two of you to be careful,” Sun Qingnian shouted.
“I hear you,” Han Wu called back. “You protect yourself. Also, Shuang’er, don’t move. I will find you through your voice.”
Cultivating the Black Mountain Scripture had greatly sharpened Han Wu’s senses, so navigating through the mist with just sound alone was no issue for him. anwhile, Qin Shuang obediently stood in place, continuing to talk and shout to broadcast her location.
It didn’t take long before she heard sothing approaching. She glanced around in search of Han Wu but could sense no one.
Where are those sounds coming from? she wondered.
Instinctively looking down, her alard gaze t that of a crawling Huang Mao. The Deceiver’s Cord on her arm shot out like an arrow toward him.
The Deceiver’s Cord had belonged to Master Huang. When Huang Mao saw it, he knew that he had found the right person. The Deceiver’s Cord was undoubtedly an excellent Divine Weapon, but it was useless against the Huang family. It attempted to coil around Huang Mao, but he chanted sothing, and it relaxed itself.
Huang Mao then pulled out a gourd-shaped Divine Weapon and taunted, “Do you dare to respond?”
“Hmph! Childish!” She sneered, preparing to fight.
An incredible suction ca from the gourd, pulling Qin Shuang in and swallowing her whole.
“First one down,” Huang Mao crowed. “This is a good start.”
He then checked the compass and saw the arrow was shifting once more. There were multiple people he had to deal with to avenge Master Huang. Going back down on all fours, he crawled through the grass in search of his next prey.
When Qin Shuang went silent, Han Wu imdiately knew sothing was amiss. He rushed toward where he last heard her, but she wasn’t there. There was nothing within the white mist.
“Qin Shuang, please be alright,” Han Wu muttered to himself, panic rapidly rising within him.
Huang Mao popped out from where he had been waiting in the grass. “Do you dare to respond?”
Han Wu turned to see a vague yellow silhouette. “Who are you?”
The gourd’s effect triggered, and a powerful suction ca from its mouth once more. Han Wu was sucked toward the gourd. He was halfway inside the gourd when he managed to shoot his Small Locust Blade out, shattering the gourd and releasing him. Qin Shuang was also freed.
As expected, this thing had captured Qin Shuang! If not for his quick reflexes, he would’ve been defeated as well.
The shattering of the gourd lit a fury within Huang Mao. Lady Huang had granted him this Divine Weapon, and it was his favourite one. A burning desire for retribution sparked within him.
He hissed, and the Deceiver’s Cord that he had taken from Qin Shuang shot toward Han Wu. Upon recognizing its target, it abruptly stopped mid-air and raced back to a stunned Huang Mao.
What’s wrong with it? Why isn’t it tying him up? Is there a barrier around him?
