"Ines Fu!"
Upon seeing the elder, Golat's face darkened.
"The Pope's na is not sothing you can blurt out! Kneel down imdiately!"
Muric shouted angrily.
Golat's expression was sullen as he replied in a sarcastic tone, "Ines Fu, even though you are the Pope of the Catholic Church, we have always agreed to stay out of each other's business, you shouldn't ddle here!"
"Golat, you have so nerve for not saluting the Pope! Is the Pope soone you can oppose with that tone?"
Muric said coldly.
But Ines waved his hand, signaling Muric to stand down. Then he looked at Golat and said calmly, "Golat, theoretically, we should not interfere with each other's affairs. I shouldn't be here, but these three saved my life; they are benefactors to the Catholic Church. So let's discuss things properly, without knives, and certainly without guns!"
Hearing Ines's words, Golat frowned: "These three saved your life?"
"That's right, these three tourists from Huaxia saved the Pope. They are benefactors of Los City. If you dare to harm them, you are an enemy of Los City!"
Muric said coldly.
Golat's face was extrely grim. He glanced at Yang Tian and sneered, "War Wolf, I never thought you'd know the Pope. Heh, it seems I can't kill you today!"
Yang Tian and the two won, Wu Yue and Ling Ying, exchanged a glance, realizing that the elder was indeed the old man who had a heart attack by the roadside.
None of the three expected that by saving this old man, they would be saving the Pope of the Catholic Church.
"You three saved our Pope, and thus are benefactors of the Catholic Church; we will protect you!"
Muric said to Yang Tian and his companions.
Ines stepped forward, extending his hand with a smile, "Children, my na is Ines Fu. Thank you for your help. Without you, this old life of mine might have really been forfeit."
Yang Tian extended his hand and shook Ines's, nodding slightly, "Just lending a helping hand, nothing worth ntioning."
"These three are tourists from Huaxia, and they are guests of Los City and my personal benefactors!" Ines said earnestly, then added, "I'm just curious, how did you get involved with Golat? Why did you co here..."
"He ca here to cause trouble! He smashed my casino, and it was his people who killed mine and those innocent players!"
Golat said coldly.
Yang Tian shrugged and said, "First, we ca here just to have so fun. Second, those casino staff, we only knocked them out. Third, those innocent players were killed by them. We didn't fire a single shot..."
"Their deaths were instigated by you!"
Golat said with a gloomy expression.
Ines glanced at the bodies and figures lying on the ground, nodding, "I believe you, child, you are innocent. As long as you didn't directly kill anyone, you are not guilty. Alaba Casino has been established here for fifty years, but over the years, it's beco a haven for cri. I've long been displeased with it. Today, they killed innocent players, and they must pay the price!"
"Ines Fu, are you saying you intend to oppose our Alaba gang?"
Golat asked icily.
"That's exactly what I'm saying. I intend to oppose you today!"
Ines ripped off his façade.
Golat laughed, his tone sarcastic, "For what? Just for these three Huaxia People?"
"They are my saviors; of course, I will protect them!" Ines paused, then coldly stated, "More importantly, your Alaba gang is New Los's cancer. I've been waiting for a chance to exterminate you for the people! Today, by killing those people, you've beco the criminals of New Los City!"
Upon hearing Ines's words, the faces of the Alaba gang mbers changed.
Golat's face darkened: "So what will you do? Are you going to kill directly?"
"Kill you? No! I am a civilized person, not comparable to a barbarian like you!" Ines paused, then coldly said, "We will punish you using the laws of xico. If they are not strict enough, then we will use the rules of the Catholic Church to judge you!"
Golat laughed coldly, "At worst, I'll just leave the Catholic Church! Such a church, I don't need to follow!"
"It's not up to you!"
Ines waved his hand.
Muric hurried outside, and soon, an officer entered with so police officers, looking pale.
"Barrios, I order you as the Pope to arrest Golat and his gang! They committed murder here and will face legal judgnt! Afterwards, I will judge him with church doctrines!"
Ines Fu said coldly to the officer.
The officer's face changed, "Pope, Golat is the boss here; it wasn't he who caused trouble but these three Huaxia people. Even if soone's arrested, it should be these three!"
"Absurd! Barrios, didn't you understand? The Pope has evidence of Golat's cris; the bodies on the ground were killed by the Alaba gang!"
Muric said coldly.
Barrios turned extrely pale, "Golat, these people..."
"Our Alaba gang did not kill anyone. You can review the footage, you can conduct autopsies to see how they died! We acted in self-defense to protect our property!"
Golat declared righteously.
Hearing this, Barrios gained so confidence, "Pope, please give us so ti; we will investigate thoroughly in a short period!"
Ines Fu smiled coldly, suddenly speaking to Golat, "Golat, I know you have many ways to manipulate evidence to prove yourself innocent, but if you fra these three innocent Huaxia people, we will confront your Alaba gang head-on! I'm curious to see if the public will support your Alaba gang or the Catholic Church!"
Golat remained silent, his face dark.
"Barrios, conduct a thorough autopsy on these bodies. If there's any forgery, I will personally see you out of this city!"
Ines Fu said coldly, then approached Yang Tian and his companions, "Children, please co with us. I want to properly repay you for saving my life!"
Yang Tian and his companions exchanged a glance, feeling touched inside.
They hadn't expected that the Pope's arrival would resolve all their troubles.
"How could we refuse the Pope's invitation?"
Yang Tian laughed, beckoning Wu Yue and Ling Ying to follow Ines Fu out of the casino, but just then, Golat's voice, as venomous as a snake, echoed behind them: "Yang Tian, you'd better not leave the Church; otherwise, you might just end up dead on the streets, without knowing what hit you!"
"Oh?"
A flicker of murderous intent flashed in Yang Tian's eyes at Golat's words...
