Lin Chu’s face went a little pale as her eyes dropped. Her long eyelashes had covered up the look of hurt in her eyes.
She had thought that her relationship with Yan Beicheng was considered not too bad. Yet, in the end, she was not even considered a friend to him. It was out of her league to even be friends with Yan Beicheng.
“You’re the woman I like, I’ve never treated you as a friend,” Yan Beicheng replied casually.

Yan Beicheng interrupted her, “Yan Beicheng. Considering our relationship, there’s no need for you to be so formal. Call me directly by my name, or if you are willing, call me Beicheng. I’d like that better.”
