Gu i stared at Jiang Youzhi’s back, tightly twisting the handkerchief in her hand.

She had only had a few bites when she saw Mrs. Li leaning against the door fra, panting at the kitchen door.

"Your elder sister has disappeared sowhere, not even cooking, and I’m hungry. Make sothing to eat."
As she spoke, she spotted the pancake on Yun Jiao’s plate, "I can have so pancakes."
Yun Jiao had been eating the pancake with chopsticks, but hearing Mrs. Li’s words, she put down the chopsticks, grabbed the pancake, and stuffed it into her mouth in a couple of quick bites.
Mrs. Li stared at her, dumbfounded.
With her mouth full, Yun Jiao mumbled, "No more pancakes, if you want to eat, make it yourself."
Jiang Youzhi looked at Yun Jiao, whose cheeks were puffed up like a little squirrel, and almost couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
This girl is really possessive of her food, isn’t she?
With one hand on the door fra and the other pointing at Yun Jiao, Mrs. Li exclaid, "You, you, how can you be like this, not caring about your mother—"
Yun Jiao gave her a glance, "I learned to only care for myself from watching you."
"You—" Mrs. Li’s face turned pale, and she pointed at Yun Jiao, her body swaying as if she were about to faint any mont.
Yun Jiao raised an eyebrow, "Don’t faint, I’m not going to help you up."
Actually, her mother wasn’t suffering from anything major. At first, it was just excessive grief, but as she lay in bed every day, her vitality gradually weakened.
