Ah Hu looked at Yun Jiao nervously, fearing she might say sothing bad.
Yun Jiao smiled and said, "Don’t be nervous, your young master is much better. After taking dicine for two more days, he’ll be fine."
Ah Hu was sowhat skeptical, "Really, just two more days of dicine?"
Yun Jiao nodded, "For the next two days, you can give him so easily digestible porridge, and try to avoid at."
Ah Hu respectfully saw Yun Jiao out, then went back to chatter with Lin Shuo, "Young master, I feel that Doctor Gu’s dical skills are probably extraordinary."
"When you were spitting blood before, it looked really scary. I thought you were going to die."
"Who knew she could save you so easily."
Lin Shuo, lying on the bed, looked at the ceiling. When he was spitting blood, it wasn’t just Ah Hu — he thought he was going to die too.
Vomiting such large amounts of blood, he didn’t expect to survive at all.
Previously, he had been desperate to die, but after going through this ordeal, he vaguely started believing in what they call fate.
Even heaven wouldn’t let him die yet.

In the afternoon, Lin Shuo had so millet porridge, feeling much better physically.
He looked at Ah Hu, who was squatting by the charcoal stove diligently decocting dicine for him, "Wait a day or two until I’m better, then you can leave."
Ah Hu was fanning the stove, he paused when he heard Lin Shuo’s words, then shook his head, "I’m not leaving, I’m going nowhere, wherever the young master is, that’s where I’ll be."
Lin Shuo sighed, "I can never return to the Capital City."
"I’m nearly a useless person now, what future do you have following ?"
"You should return to the Capital City and report."
"You can tell him, say that I’ve released you, you can go anywhere you want, do anything you wish."
Ah Hu shook his head, "The young master doesn’t need to say anymore. From the day I was chosen to follow you, I swore to be loyal to you for life. I will never leave."
Lin Shuo gave a bitter smile, "What good is it to follow ? Your silver is almost spent, how will you even eat following in the future?"
Ah Hu continued shaking his head, "It’s okay, I can do hard labor, take short-term jobs to support the young master."
Lin Shuo lay on the bed, amused and exasperated, "Are you stupid? You have such good skills; you could work as a guard, or as a security escort. The money earned is definitely more than doing hard labor."
Ah Hu grinned widely, "Young master, you see, I’m so stupid. Could you really let go out alone? Aren’t you afraid I’d be sold off?"
Lin Shuo slowly turned his head inward, his eyes a bit wet.
He knew no matter what he said, Ah Hu wouldn’t leave him. He really was a fool.
Lin Shuo secretly wiped his eyes, then looked at the ceiling, "Since you’re not leaving, let’s find a place to make a living."
Ah Tie focused intently on the dicine on the stove, "Anything is fine. Wherever the young master goes, I go. Whatever the young master does, I do."
The next morning, Yun Jiao opened the window, and couldn’t help but be disappointed, it was still raining outside.
They were only half a day away from Prefecture City, yet the rain had them stuck at the inn.
After breakfast, the whole family wandered around the main hall downstairs.
Jiang Youzhi brought out a chessboard and taught Liu Lang and Gu Chuan how to play Go.
Yun Jiao was holding a dical book and reading.
Mrs. Chen didn’t delay her needlework, holding a small round hoop and embroidering.
On this hoop was lotus-colored silk, which she had bought with a bit of money from the silk shop’s leftover pieces. She planned to make shoes for Yun Jiao.
