Zhang Shun ran over at this mont, "Oh, the prices are all done?"
He picked up the sheets densely covered with writing on the table, and checked a few he rembered; all of them were correct.
Zhang Shun looked at Jiang Youzhi in astonishnt, "How did you get this information?"
Though the prices of various pharmacies aren’t exactly secret, they wouldn’t just be casually given to people either.
Yun Jiao pointed to her head, "Sanlang went around other pharmacies and morized them by heart."
Zhang Shun was incredulous, "That’s impossible, it’s only been a short while, I’ve worked in a pharmacy for years and haven’t rembered much."
Yun Jiao smiled with pride, "Sanlang has a photographic mory."
Zhang Shun looked at Jiang Youzhi in awe, "I thought having a photographic mory was a myth, didn’t expect such people really exist."
Jiang Youzhi waved his hand, "It’s just that my mory is slightly better than others."
He looked at the paper strips Yun Jiao had cut on the table, "Are we using these as labels?"
Yun Jiao nodded.
Jiang Youzhi picked up a pen, "I’ll write them."
He gave Yun Jiao a glance and gently said, "Just help grind the ink by my side."
"Sure, sure." Yun Jiao nodded repeatedly.
She quickly arranged everything: Zhang Shun was responsible for opening drawers and naming the dicines, while Jiang Youzhi wrote the dicine nas and prices on the labels.
Once the price tags were written, Liu Zhu took them away, and once they were dry, stuck them on the drawers.
The entire operation flowed smoothly.
Yun Jiao sat beside Jiang Youzhi, watching him write while grinding the ink.
After a while, Jiang Youzhi looked at her, and softly said, "Your hand must be sore; rest for a bit and grind again later."
"Okay," Yun Jiao replied, shaking her hand, and leaned in to watch Jiang Youzhi write.
Jiang Youzhi wrote in a small, elegant calligraphy style, each character uniform and tidy, almost like it was printed, truly pleasing to the eye.
Yun Jiao was captivated watching him write.
Guihua ca over from the back courtyard, wanting to ask Yun Jiao how to prepare the big fish she bought today. As soon as she stepped into the shop, she saw Jiang Youzhi and Yun Jiao sitting together.
The two were sitting so close that their heads were nearly touching.
Then Yun Jiao said sothing, and Jiang Youzhi looked at her; they exchanged smiles.
Guihua’s heart skipped a beat; seeing no one noticed her, she quickly turned back.
As soone experienced, she could tell that there seed to be so affection between the two.
However, perhaps the two of them weren’t even aware yet.
Guihua didn’t dare tell anyone and kept it to herself.
The task of writing labels wasn’t finished until the next day.
Then the custom plaque Yun Jiao ordered arrived, and she directed Zhang Shun and Liu Zhu to hang it up, covering it with a piece of red silk.
The couplets were also carved and covered with red silk.
The preparations for opening were nearly complete, and the shop was cleaned thoroughly, only lacking a resident doctor.
Yun Jiao was not in a hurry about this either; if she couldn’t find soone, she could stand in herself for the ti being.
The problem was her age, making it hard for people to believe she was a doctor.
There was no solution but to take it slow; once she treated so patients and built a reputation, it would no longer be an issue.
The opening day, chosen by Mrs. Chen, was to be tomorrow.
The next day, both Zhang Shun and Liu Zhu arrived early.
The two of them donned the custom work uniforms Yun Jiao had made at a tailoring shop, light beige short tunics.
After changing clothes, Zhang Shun couldn’t help but say, "Boss, these clothes are too light in color, they get dirty too easily, a darker color would be better."
