Ah Hu swaggered over and slapped his shoulder forcefully, "Where are you from, kid?"
The servant looked up at the tall Ah Hu and shrank back slightly, "I, I’m a waiter from Qingyun Inn. A guest asked to buy dicine."
Zhang Shun was about to fetch the White dicine, but unexpectedly, Ah Hu said, "Sorry, we’re out of White dicine at the shop. Co back in a few days."
Zhang Shun’s hand paused as he looked at Yun Jiao.
Yun Jiao nodded slightly at him, signaling to heed Ah Hu’s words.
Zhang Shun remained silent.
The servant asked, sowhat displeased, "Really all gone?"
Zhang Shun said, "We sold out yesterday, it’ll take a few days to concoct more."
The servant ca happily, expecting to earn so tip, but had no choice but to put away the silver and leave.
Ah Hu then swaggered over to Yun Jiao and whispered, "Last night the young master and I injured those two, this waiter must be buying dicine for them."
Yun Jiao gave Ah Hu a thumbs up, "Brother Hu is amazing."
Ah Hu chuckled, "It’s nothing, last night I was worried about the family and dared not chase far, otherwise, I would have killed him."
The waiter from Qingyun Inn returned and handed back the silver, saying the dicine was unavailable.
A guard waved his hand, dismissing the waiter.
Another said, "This White dicine is really good, stops bleeding quickly, seems to even promote wound healing."
"My injury is much better just after one night."
"I was thinking of buying a few more bottles to take back, but who knew it’s out of stock."
Wanyan Zhang, hearing this, suddenly said, "If this White dicine could be used in the army, casualties might greatly reduce."
The two guards’ eyes lit up, "The young master is absolutely right."
"If Doctor Gu is taken away, would we not have dicine, and even the empress’s illness could be treated!"
Wanyan Zhang frowned and shook his head, "Unfortunately, we didn’t bring many people this ti."
"You two are injured, and even if I join in, we might not be able to beat those two."
He looked at the sky, "Forget it, let’s plan it carefully after we return."
Then he picked up his long knife and strode forward, "Let’s go."
The three went downstairs, mounted their horses, and quickly rode away.
The next day, Lin Shuo sent Ah Tie to Qingyun Inn to inquire, hearing that the group had checked out and left.
Lin Shuo did not relax his vigilance, still taking turns with Ah Hu to stand guard for several nights. Only when there was no more movent did they stop the night watch.
A few days later, Jiang Youzhi returned from the academy, bringing back so luggage.
He planned to rest at ho for a few days before traveling to the Capital City with Prince Kang.
Not long after dinner, Mrs. Chen, fearing that Sanlang had not eaten waterlon at the academy, quickly picked out a big one and opened it, calling everyone to the hall to eat waterlon.
Everyone was there except Mr. Bai.
While eating waterlon, Yun Jiao asked Jiang Youzhi, "When are you leaving for the Capital City?"
Jiang Youzhi replied leisurely, "Departing on June 25th, I can still rest at ho for a few days."
Yun Jiao glanced sideways at him, "You often take leave while studying at the academy, doesn’t your teacher say anything?"
Jiang Youzhi laughed, "Our teacher actually told , ’Read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles,’ encouraging to travel and see the world."
Mrs. Chen interjected from the side, "Once you go, when will you co back?"
Jiang Youzhi thought for a while, "From Xiang City to the Capital City, the journey is about twenty days. The emperor’s birthday is in early August, so this trip will likely see returning by September."
