Mrs. Liu gritted her teeth, "Are you truly not going to eat?"
Liu He snorted coldly, "I’m not eating, I’m not sick, why take dicine!"
Mrs. Liu sneered, "Fine, if that’s the case, I won’t wait for you to divorce , we shall separate!"
Liu He looked at her in shock, "How can you say such a thing?"
Mrs. Liu, once she began to speak, beca even more uninhibited, "Why can’t I say it?"
"Didn’t your previous wife get divorced for being childless?"
"If this continues, I won’t bear children, who knows if your mother won’t force you to divorce too!"
"Ha, she’s been sending people into your room left and right, what’s the use of more!"
Liu He heard these words, feeling as though Mrs. Liu was implying he was useless.
Already feeling humiliated at Renxin Hall, a blaze of resentnt was festering within him.
Mrs. Liu instigating him further, then saying such words, Liu He could no longer endure it and slapped Mrs. Liu across the face, "Bitch, how dare you speak to like this!"
Mrs. Liu covered her face, stunned.
In the past, although frustrated by her husband’s inability to forget his forr wife, besides that, he was quite mild and treated her fairly well.
She was several years younger than him, and even when she was bratty, he never cared much.
Today he actually hit her!
Mrs. Liu shouted loudly, "Stop the carriage!"
The driver hurriedly halted the carriage, and Mrs. Liu crawled out from the compartnt, not waiting for the maid to set the stool, she jumped straight off the carriage.
Liu He lifted the curtain, his anger flaring even more, "What are you doing?"
Mrs. Liu sneered, "I can’t live like this anymore, I’m going back to my parents’ ho!" With that, she grabbed the maid’s hand and walked away.
Liu He was furious, ordering the driver, "Forget her, go!"
The driver had no choice but to continue driving forward.
Originally, Mrs. Liu had angrily descended from the carriage, hoping her husband would get down to coax her, but unexpectedly he just left.
The more she thought about it, the angrier she beca, crying all the way back to her parents’ house.
Yun Jiao, while having dinner in the evening, saw Mr. Bai, initially wanting to tell him about today’s events, but thought better of it.
A few days later, another carriage stopped in front of Renxin Hall; the servant accompanying the carriage entered and greeted everyone, before saying, "I’m looking for Mr. Bai, could you tell if Mr. Bai is here?"
Ah Tie then went to the back courtyard to find Mr. Bai.
After a short while, Mr. Bai ca out, and seeing the servant, his expression changed.
The servant respectfully greeted her, "Madam, my young master is waiting outside for you, he has sothing to tell you."
Mr. Bai said coldly, "No need, go and tell your young master that I have nothing to say to him."
With that, he turned and walked back.
A sudden, urgent voice ca from outside, "Wan Fang!"
Mr. Bai trembled slightly all over, and ca to a halt.
Liu He got off the carriage hastily and rushed into the hall, speaking to Mr. Bai’s back, "I have sothing to tell you, could you co out for a mont."
Mr. Bai did not turn around, "There’s nothing for us to talk about."
Yun Jiao watched the two with interest, noticing Mr. Bai was trembling slightly, realizing she hasn’t truly forgotten this man.
If she really didn’t care, she wouldn’t have such emotional fluctuations.
Liu He seed anxious and lowered his voice, "We have separated!"
Mr. Bai suddenly turned back to look at him.
Liu He stared at Mr. Bai, eyes glistening with tears, "I can’t forget you, Wan Fang, only we are most suitable for each other, will you co back with ."
