Yun Jiao asked while dressing hurriedly, "What ti is it?"
Jiang Youzhi turned her around and carefully helped her dress, "It’s still early, don’t rush."
After dressing, Jiang Youzhi got out of bed and opened the door to call the maids in to attend to Yun Jiao.

Breakfast was quickly brought in, and while Yun Jiao was still having her hair done, Jiang Youzhi sat beside her, eating and feeding her as well.
This made Cai Ping and Hui Xiang quite envious.
Once her hair was done, and breakfast was completed, the two walked hand in hand to the main courtyard.

As they walked hand in hand into the main hall, they saw that there were already quite a few people seated inside.

In the hall sat the Princess, the Duke and his wife, Jiang Family relatives, and Lady Wu’s two brothers and sisters-in-law.
Yun Jiao was sowhat familiar with the Jiang Family relatives, having t them during the New Year.
Lady Wu’s two brothers and sisters-in-law had rushed here day and night from the southern border, arriving in the capital only the day before yesterday, so Yun Jiao had not yet t them.

When she and Jiang Youzhi approached Jiang Han and Ling Wei, they both stood silently, smiling.
Reluctantly, Jiang Han and Ling Wei stood up, "Elder brother, sister-in-law."
Yun Jiao smiled as Hui Xiang presented the prepared gifts.
A golden hairpin for Ling Wei and a jade pendant for Jiang Han.
Both were ordinary, neither good nor bad, suitable for everyday wear, and fairly unremarkable as gifts acknowledging their kinship.
Ling Wei glanced at the golden hairpin and snorted, instructing her maid, "This golden hairpin is for you." Then she looked challengingly at Yun Jiao.
Others in the room heard Ling Wei’s words and each began to ponder. It was interesting that the parents-in-law hadn’t humiliated the new daughter-in-law, yet the sister-in-law couldn’t resist.
