At night, everyone squeezed into the tent to sleep.
Liu Lang was very considerate, pulling Gu Chuan to sleep near the entrance.

Yun Jiao clearly understood what she heard but couldn’t open her eyes and drifted into sleep.
The next morning, Yun Jiao tidied herself up before heading to Wanyan Zhang’s King’s Tent.
The large group traveled for almost twenty days, arriving in Changning.
Upon reaching Changning, half of the ten-thousand n were ordered to stay nearby to farm.
The Grand Emperor, the Emperor, the Empress and consorts, the Princes and Princesses, along with officials above the third rank and their families from the Capital City were also ordered to wait in Changning for Wanyan Zhang, before proceeding together to Huining in Jin Country’s capital.
Wanyan Zhang ordered a two-day rest.
This morning, Yun Jiao did not go over to Wanyan Zhang’s side. She figured that upon reaching Changning, Wanyan Zhang would surely have many affairs to handle, and today she wouldn’t need to wrestle bulls or tell stories.
After eating pancakes with wild vegetables and goji berries, Yun Jiao took a walk around the camp.
She dared not go too far, as soldiers nearby knew her and were respectfully friendly. Beyond, she couldn’t be sure.
Nearly at dusk, Wanyan Zhang’s personal soldiers ca over again and saluted Yun Jiao, "The Second Crown Prince invites Doctor Gu to attend a banquet."
Yun Jiao quickly tidied herself, changed her attire, thought for a mont, then took Da Ya along and boarded the carriage brought by the soldiers.
Though Da Ya no longer possessed Inner Strength, she had mostly healed from her injuries, retained her quick reflexes, and was still tall and strong. With her presence, Yun Jiao felt a touch more secure.
Changning was a fairly large city, and the banquet was held in a traveling palace within Changning.
Yun Jiao dismounted from the carriage and followed the personal soldiers into the palace, walking so distance before entering a grand hall.
The grand hall was brightly lit.
The entire hall was laid with thick carpets, and tables lined both sides.
Scanning the tables, Yun Jiao noticed the figures sitting behind them were all robustly built, evidently Jin Country individuals.
High above the grand hall, Wanyan Zhang sat prominently.
To Wanyan Zhang’s left were the Grand Emperor and Empress Dowager Zheng, both with bowed heads,
Below them sat the Emperor and Empress.
To Wanyan Zhang’s right was Wulinda Hai.
Upon seeing Yun Jiao enter, Wanyan Zhang raised his hand, "Give her a seat."
The maid swiftly placed a table below Wulinda Hai.
Yun Jiao slowly sat down.
At this mont, soone in the hall said, "Second Crown Prince, it’s said the princesses of Great Chu are beautiful, as are the noblewon. Why not invite them over to pour us wine?"
Wanyan Zhang nodded slightly, "Very well."
The Grand Emperor sitting below him moved his lips, seemingly wanting to say sothing but quickly closed his mouth again.
Within a quarter of an hour, Great Chu’s princesses, noblewon, and wives were escorted in by soldiers.
Among them, Yun Jiao saw many familiar faces.
Princess Shoukang, Ling Wei, Chu Danning, and the exceptionally beautiful Princess Huaiqing were present.
Princess Huaiqing was around twenty-five or six, already married.
