"I’m not president yet, keep your voice down. Besides, I don’t want to be president."
Up front, Yu Jiajie called out, "Anyone signing up?"
"Why is no one coming up to sign up?"
Soone from the crowd replied, "We know our limits, not gonna stir things up."
The whole hall burst into laughter.
After a while, two people went up to sign up; Yun Jiao noticed they were quite senior, probably respected figures.
Yu Jiajie waited a bit longer, "Are there any more sign-ups? Otherwise, we’ll start!"
He called out twice, but no one else ca up.
Yu Jiajie then said, "Let’s start voting."
