Rowan had no idea how Primordial Chaos would respond to his plans, but he knew that it would not be one that would favor him unless he appropriately played his cards. These old monsters would gladly take advantage of any weakness that they spotted.

The only reason he was going along with this plan was because he knew the Primordials were not a united faction; they were raiders, after all, and they were all here to gain the most benefit from Reality. In the end, who knew what would happen when the final Chapter had been played out? Maybe it was then that an actual Primordial War would begin as they would tear themselves to pieces for the one ruler to rise.

Rowan could dream of such grand events happening, but he was not leaving his Fate and that of Reality to the hope that the Primordials would kill each other one day. He would rather be the hand on the executioner’s blade.

He knew there were secret wars ongoing between the Primordials, and a few notable mentions included Primordial Chaos using the power of Oblivion to distort the minds of everyone in the lower realms, a horrifying truth that Rowan had discovered when he began creating Reflections that headed to the future.

Or was it the unknown Fate of Primordial Time and Primordial Soul, the hidden machinations of Primordial Memory, or perhaps the obscure contests of Primordial Life and Primordial Demon? None of them were united in spirit, and all sought more power in their unique dynamics, so Rowan had to find a way of taking advantage of it while making himself seem less of a threat.

The hunt for the First Flames was conceived to draw out Primordial Chaos because Rowan needed answers and, if possible, an alliance.

Would this Primordial stand aside as Rowan plotted against Primordial Light, or would he interfere? It was his reaction that would prompt Rowan to determine if his plans were viable or not.

The appearance of the Primordial Beast shook up Rowan’s plan, but he adjusted it on the go. Endirius had always been a mystery, and Rowan had been opened to be surprised.

A being capable of stealing from a Primordial must either possess extremely special capabilities or be extremely powerful, yet nothing was stopping them from being both at the same time. It turned out that Endirius was both.

Shocker. It could not be too easy for him, it seems.

It was a good thing that Endirius was never his target, and if he could learn more about this mysterious figure, that was a bonus. However, life rarely proceeds as the plans laid down for it.

Rowan would find himself fighting against Bahamut and pushing for the dimension of Fate as an unexpected alliance would be created between him and Primordial Chaos in the darkness.

If there was one thing fifty million years of battle, which he observed from the map, had shown him, it was that a war such as the one he was about to wage would not matter if he could not cut off the head of the opposing faction.

A single Primordial was greater than all the powers in Reality a thousand times over. You could not win against them with numbers, and destroying the powers they had surrounded themselves with was a lesson in futility.

It did not mean fighting the battles with the forces of the Primordials was useless; in some cases, it would be what ultimately decided victory for him, but it was of less significance in the grand scheme of things. Even if he won inside of Reality, the actual bodies of the Primordials were outside of it. Anyone would consider destroying all the Primordial Domains to be a victory, but Rowan was never that easily satisfied.

The only answer to his problem was to go after the head—every single time.

One great advantage of having so many mighty Angels under his domain was Rowan’s ability to build impressive structures out of nowhere in a short amount of time.

He gave the plan, and they followed through with it, his Will working through their hands. Their connection to his three Chambers of Creation, Astrolabe, Hollow Forge, and Knowledge Well, enabled them to build impressive structures when all the materials they could ever need could be sourced almost instantaneously from Rowan’s Origin Land.

His Angels were building a unique dimension that would contain as many properties of a higher-dimensional realm as possible so that it could bee similar to Limbo.

Rowan no longer constructed machines. Worlds, or minor heavenly bodies, he now made entire realms.

This realm was pretty unique because Rowan expected it to be able to contain a Primordial Being for a short amount of time. It should not be able to include the stress of battle, as a single mighty blow from a Primordial would shatter it to nothing, but if it was to hold a Primordial entity, it should last for a few moments before destruction.

The aim here was not war but dialogue. Rowan wished that he was strong enough to imprison a Primordial. This would have been the perfect opportunity for such a thing, and technically, he should be able to perform such a feat, but it would be constantly consuming so many resources for him to maintain this prison that he would essentially be imprisoning himself alongside his prisoner.

If he had only one enemy, this would have been a great plan, but he had several others that were equally dangerous.

Rowan had walked upon multiple Primordial Domains by now, if not personally, then with the aid of his children; when he looked through their eyes, he was reasonably sure that he understood the structure of their realm well enough, and he could fairly imitate the mysteries of his Origin Land when it came to the building of this new dimension.

The most crucial point to consider was the issue of weight. Rowan was not expecting the full presence of Primordial Chaos to enter this dimension, but it should be strong enough to hold his Throne.
