Now reading: Chapter 22: Art of Oscillation from The Prince in Question Is Not Stable, a Fantasy novel by GymCat.

’The question is - How can I help these children improve?’

Legacies upon legacies with a history that developers didn’t give the appropriate reasoning for, and being dependent on mana when faced a hurdle is what that’s made the energy circulating system of this world.

If I as a warrior with no core can will my aura to move, then these children should atleast be able to understand the flow of their mana and aura.

This in itself can help them. But this thodology isn’t proven, but technically more efficient because if you understand the flow of water, you can build a better structure for the dam.

"Feel the aura? But... its too... difficult because aura is constantly moving, professor," asked a student sitting in the last row of the class.

She had golden eyes, the sa stature as Victoria, a little younger and her hair were black. Isabella Voss, younger sister of Victoria.

Apparently, she was a student in the second year batch I teach.

"It’s difficult. Sure. And that’s cause you’re feeling your own interference." I said, stepping off the the podium and walking towards between the rows.

"Your aura is constantly moving because you’re the one who’s shaking it. I’m not saying you enter a state of nullification and end up breaking your core,"

"What I an is... you put efforts in slowing the rotation of your core to bare minimum, because it takes equal effort to speed your core and slow it down to almost static, but it’s easier to understand every particle of your aura or mana when the flow of energy is slow."

I paused and stared at the students, and I felt like my words weren’t going through their head.

"..." "..." "..." Silence. No one uttered a word.

I took a deep breath and heaved a sigh.

"Alright," I clapped my hands once, and pointed at Isabella.

"On the podium, I’ll teach you all with a demonstration," I said looking at her.

Isabella looked at her redhead friend beside, and nodded, following to the podium.

"Stand straight, and concentrate," I said, and she followed.

Then I focused myself slightly to feel the movent of her core.

Because I wasn’t bound with a core, my aura was already static, it didn’t interfere when I sensed the movents of her mana.

I could feel her core slowing down, and the more it slowed down, the more harder it was for her to control her mana, it was burning her body from the insides.

"Alright that’s it. Maintain this state. Now feel the flow of your mana, not like how you feel it with surge, but slowly and precisely,"

If anything goes wrong, and her core stops, I could just brute force it to move, rather raw, but effective and safe.

But, she was good. Considering the slow speed of her core, her mana wasn’t damaging her body, only building up heat.

"Follow her lead... don’t just watch," I said spreading my arms, indicating every student that was watching her.

"Don’t be afraid at all, your core won’t stop in my watch,"

I turned around and watched Isabella.

Her face was flushed. A bead of sweat traced the line of ger jaw.

"The heat you feel isn’t power, it’s friction. You’re trying to hold the mana still with your mind but the mana wants to vibrate."

" Listen, not with your ears, with your skin," I commanded the class.

For a second... the struggle in Isabella’s mana shifted. The jagged ssy waves of her mana that barely followed the path of her mana breath aligned at a drastic rate.

’Uh... I thought it would take more than three or five sessions for the kids, but-’ I was quite speechless.

’Well. This much should be expected from Victoria’s sister.’ I thought.

Isabella’s eyes snapped open, the strain on her face was all gone.

"Professor," She whispered. "Everything feels quiet,"

"I feel more-"

"Powerful?" I cut her words off. "You feel like you’ve got more mana, and control over it?"

"Yes..." she muttered.

I nodded. She did manage to succeed.

"But, your reserve of mana is the sa as before. You’re just able to feel the complete reserve, but absolute control over that reserve, which keeps growing along with your training, will take so ti"

She nodded, standing still on the podium.

"Back to your seat then... Ill provide you with grace marks for your success, and those who manage to achieve it in a month’s fra" I said snapiing my fingers.

""Woah..."" ""Really?"" I heard there cheers erupting, because grace marks an a sure hit to successful graduation without repeating another year.

"You got it," I said picking up my file of attendance and walking off the podium.

Maybe I’ll train alongside their sessions too.
