Right in front of , there was a Giant Glacial Wolf, a C Rank Monster. Rembering that damn Abyssal Dweller Queen I fought back then, this thing is supposedly even stronger than her. Although it is smaller, it is much more agile, stronger, and intelligent than that giant bug. This one seems like a Pack Leader, while the rest of the Glacial Wolves are usually D-Rank or even D Rank.
Maybe if it had been in the past, I would have pissed myself off with the fear that this beast induced in . But now, I felt like it was just another prey, another hunt I must take down. Perhaps my first Dungeon Break and then those Trials I underwent in the Egyptian Death Gods Dungeons further strengthened my resolve.
“GRRHH…”
The Giant Glacial Wolf was preparing itself to leap over . This monster’s main thod of attack was slashing, biting, or piercing soone with the big ice horn they had on their foreheads. And it seed that it was going for the latter.

The Giant Glacial Wolf leaped towards at an incredible speed, which I was barely able to equal thanks to my equipnt, privileges, and the Ki flowing across my veins.

It went for a stomp using its front legs, hitting the ground with an imnse attack and shattering the ground. The bastard went for sothing I didn’t even expect.
With this effect I just activated, I do have a 150% buff to my AGI and a 100% to DEX, and on top of that, the Ki Aura of my own physique further improves my stats by a bit by spending Ki.

Violet roared furiously, attacking the Giant Glacial Wolf with his enormous scythes. Unlike his mother, he was super-fast even at his gigantic size, and his blows devastated the surroundings, so strong and big that it made the Giant Glacial Wolf, a monster with way higher stats than him, be temporarily intimidated, stepping back and giving an opportunity.

Two slashes made out of golden flas erged out of my knife as they landed on the Giant Glacial Wolf while it gave its back, damaging it severely. The wolf roared in panic, suddenly conjuring two enormous icicles and firing them at at the sa ti!
I quickly evaded one while I sliced another into two, only for the wolf to appear right behind the sliced icicles, opening its jaws to maul my head apart. However, a gigantic scythe smacked the wolf into the ground, and Violet ca to the rescue! Rapidly, he wrapped the wolf’s legs with his silk, and I leaped into the beast’s head.
“I don’t have all the ti in the world to deal with you, so please die quickly!” I roared, piercing the wolf’s skull with my knife and then infusing all the dragon flas and sunshine I could inside the wound.
BOOOOMM…!!
The wolf’s head—well, it exploded into pieces. It was a bit gross, and I was covered in all of its brains, but there was no helping it.

This is surely useful, raising the quality of a monster corpse by gathering and then virtually making the Undead I can get out of it stronger.

I ran towards Baihe and quickly unpacked the First Aid Special Package, using the dicine inside to cover Baihe’s frostbite wounds and then wrap them around the bandage.
“Ahhh… A-Am I going to die?” She cried.
“You won’t,” I said. “I promise you won’t.”
I touched her wounds after wrapping them up and putting the dicine inside, imbuing her with the warmth of my Physique and my Ki. A Golden Aura began spreading around her body. I used my excess Yang energy through Sunshine and slowly began overpowering the Yin Energy glowing around her own body.
“So warm…” Baihe was still barely handling a thin thread. I made her drink three Health Potions and even then, she was barely alive.
“Fenrir, let’s go now!” I said.
“Alright, your brother’s fighting a big guy right now, so we should regroup with the survivors first!” Said Fenrir.
“Big guy?” I wondered.

I guess the Demonic Humans that serve Leviathan must have co here, and they’re trying to hunt down innocent people for their souls and flesh. This… I didn’t expect the story to go this way. Well, it was never elaborated on how Baihe's Dungeon Break incident went. But perhaps it was in the Dungeon itself that she ended up having a contract with Leviathan.
Leviathan is the Archdemon of Envy, a powerful Demon that only targets the most envious, empty-hearted people who are never satisfied with what they have and always want more, at the expense of others.
Baihe… isn’t like this, is she? But perhaps she did envy the families coming to her restaurant and literally everybody else having a better life than her. So much envy harbored inside her heart must have made her a perfect candidate, especially with her innate potential and talents.
“Co here.” I quickly hugged Baihe while we traveled, holding her hands and giving her warmth. “Everything will be alright now, Baihe.”
