Old Mrs. Mo heard these words, and fury instantly surged within her.

"Mo Yiyi, you dead girl, I told you last ti that I won’t let your sister and Jiang Huirong divorce. What exactly are you trying to do? Our Mo family has never had a divorced woman. Do you want our family to be pointed at in gossip in the future?"

Jiang Shan saw Old Mrs. Mo like this and couldn’t help but shrink into Ding Yuejun’s arms.

Since she was little, she didn’t like Old Mrs. Mo, her Grandma Zeng. Every ti the old lady saw her and her mom, it was like she was scolding people.

Ding Yuejun gently patted Jiang Shan’s back in comfort, then looked at Old Mrs. Mo and said, "Mom, Jiang Huirong has long decided on getting a divorce, so Xiaohong had no choice but to agree to it."

"What do you know? Can the Jiang Family divorce just because they want to? Have they asked our Mo family? No, this matter cannot just end like this. We must not let Jiang Huirong and Xiaohong divorce."

Mo Guowei’s face was also full of anger. Although he didn’t care much for his two daughters, he wouldn’t allow them to bring sha upon him. If Xiaohong really got divorced, how would people view their family afterward? "Mother is right; we absolutely must not let Xiaohong and Huirong divorce. I’ll go to town to see about it right now."

But just as Mo Guowei said this, Mo Xiaohong returned.

Seeing Mo Xiaohong, Mo Guowei frowned and stepped forward, sternly questioning, "Xiaohong, I heard that you and Huirong went to file for divorce. Is this true? Surely you haven’t done it so fast?"

Hearing her father’s words, Mo Xiaohong directly replied, "Dad, Jiang Huirong and I have already divorced."

Thinking of how happy that man looked when he got the divorce certificate, Mo Xiaohong just felt that she had been blind to have chosen Jiang Huirong in the first place. Clearly, she had to face the consequences of her mistakes; now it has co true—she was now a divorced woman.

When Mo Guowei heard these words from his eldest daughter, he was infuriated to the point of liver pain.

"Why didn’t you discuss it with us before you divorced Jiang Huirong? Have you no regard for us elders? You unfilial daughter, you’ve brought sha upon our Mo family."

Upon hearing her father’s words, the already pale face of Mo Xiaohong beca even paler.

Old Mrs. Mo, who had been upset all along, continued to berate her after her eldest son, cursing her with every vicious word she could think of. In the end, she threw a rough clay bowl at Mo Xiaohong’s feet. "I don’t care what thod you use, you are not allowed to divorce Jiang Huirong. Even if you are divorced now, you must find a way to remain part of the Jiang family."

Off to the side, Mr. Mo couldn’t help but shake his head, looking at his eldest granddaughter and saying, "Xiaohong, this ti you acted recklessly. Divorce is a matter concerning both families. You were too hasty." Although he had heard before that his granddaughter wanted a divorce, he didn’t expect Xiaohong to act so quickly. They hadn’t even had a chance to persuade her.

Qian Yafen, however, walked up and patted Old Mrs. Mo’s back, saying, "Mom, don’t be angry. Perhaps Xiaohong and Huirong’s fates have run their course. Since she’s already filed for divorce, let’s not bla Xiaohong anymore."

Upon hearing her aunt’s words, Mo Xiaohong felt a touch of gratitude.

When everyone else was blaming her, only her gentle aunt refrained from saying anything, even helping to persuade grandma.

Yiyi saw everyone’s reactions, and finally gave Qian Yafen a deep look, feeling that this aunt was really adept at playing the good person. But aside from saying a few comforting words, she offered no substantial help, so Yiyi directly looked at Mo Xiaohong and said, "Sister, both mom and I support you, so don’t listen to grandma and dad. As for what aunt said just now, she was wrong too. You and Jiang Huirong had no damn fate together, so how could it have run out? You really don’t need to be sad."

Upon hearing Yiyi’s words, Qian Yafen squinted her eyes but eventually said nothing, only smiling and saying, "Our Yiyi is right. Since Huirong behaved like this, how could he be fated with our Xiaohong? Who knows, maybe Xiaohong’s destined one will appear in ti."

Old Mrs. Mo, already displeased with Mo Yiyi, beca even more infuriated upon hearing her younger daughter-in-law’s words.

"What destined one? She’s divorced; who would want her? I’m saying it now: our Mo family will not accept a divorced daughter, let alone the burden she brings."

Hearing Old Mrs. Mo’s words, Jiang Shan couldn’t help but shrink further into Ding Yuejun’s arms, her face full of sadness, for she knew Grandma Zeng didn’t like her.

And upon hearing Old Mrs. Mo’s words, Mo Xiaohong’s face also reflected hurt.

Even though she knew her grandmother never liked her or Yiyi, both granddaughters, now faced with such a situation, her grandmother not only didn’t protect her but tried to push her into the fire pit. Not to ntion that she was already divorced from Jiang Huirong; even if she hadn’t divorced, Jiang Huirong would have found every way to expel her, so how could she return to the Jiang family?

Mo Yiyi coldly observed the family mbers’ expressions and finally directly took Mo Xiaohong’s hand, saying, "Sister, even if you’re divorced, so what? We will always be with you."

Hearing Yiyi’s words, Mo Xiaohong’s eyes turned a little red.

It turned out her sister was the best, always supporting her no matter what.

"Xiaohong, mom will always stand by your side too."

Ding Yuejun also sympathized deeply with Mo Xiaohong’s plight. Now that her daughter said this, she would naturally give her full support.

"Thank you, mom."

Hearing Ding Yuejun’s words, Mo Xiaohong was once again moved. This stepmother, with no blood relation to her, had always been so kind to her.

"Alright, alright, alright. You all support Mo Xiaohong, huh? Then you can all stay with her. Our Mo family won’t bother with you anymore." Old Mrs. Mo saw Ding Yuejun and Mo Yiyi like this, and her liver was nearly boiling with rage. Ever since the day Mo Yiyi, this dead girl, had her head broken open by Jiang Huirong, they all began to rebel against her. How outrageous.

Yiyi cast a cold glance at Old Mrs. Mo, then led her mother, sister, and Shanshan directly back to their room.

"Guowei, look at your wife and daughter’s attitude. They don’t respect , this old lady, at all."

Seeing his mother’s fury, Mo Guowei hurriedly said, "Mom, rest assured, I’ll definitely give them a good talking to later."

"Yes, you’ve got to severely discipline them, or else they’ll think they’re the ones running this household." Old Mrs. Mo began to calm down a little after hearing what her son said.

And inside the room, Yiyi, who had led her mother and others in, directly looked at Ding Yuejun and said, "Mom, no one in this house cares about us. Do you still plan to stay here?"
