Seeing her mother’s surprise, Yiyi shook her head and sighed, "Yes, everything was fine yesterday, but today it’s gone."
Yiyi didn’t voice her suspicions; she feared it would scare her mother, and she didn’t want her to get involved in these matters. It was enough that she was investigating.
Ding Yuejun couldn’t help but lant, ultimately shaking her head and saying, "Life is uncertain; we truly must be careful in everything going forward."
After her lant, Ding Yuejun looked at her daughter with so confusion and asked, "Yiyi, why are you suddenly concerned about Mr. Lu’s affairs?"

Mo Shan knew her mother was returning today, so she was very happy, her hair tied into two little braids, bouncing happily behind Yiyi and the others.
The three bought quite a lot of groceries before finally returning ho.

Yet, she felt sowhat restless, knowing Mo Yougen was harming people but having no evidence.
She had visited the river where Mr. Lu’s accident happened before but found no traces at all. Although she could concoct poison and directly poison soone, if anything were discovered, she’d be a criminal, and her mother and the others would be implicated.
So the best approach was to expose Mo Yougen’s cris and have him face legal punishnt.
When Yiyi arrived at Luwei Village, she didn’t go directly into the village but once more to the river where Mr. Lu’s accident occurred.
But before Yiyi could approach the river, she heard laughter and faint voices coming from nearby.
"Mo Kailuo, why are you still swimming here? Didn’t they say your god-grandfather passed away? Aren’t you supposed to visit the Lu Family?"
A rather arrogant voice followed.
"My dad and the others are there, so I don’t need to go. Moreover, my dad never acknowledged Mr. Lu as a godfather; how could he be my god-grandfather? I have my own grandfather."
"Mo Kailuo, there’s sothing wrong here. The Lu Family has been so good to your family; calling him grandfather would be appropriate."
"Hmph, how have they been good to us? If it weren’t for my dad being the village chief, they would have ignored us long ago."
Hearing these words, Yiyi realized that one of the boys was probably Mo Kailuo, Mo Yougen’s son. She had seen him a few tis before — a spoiled child. Hearing his words now, Yiyi knew this person’s views were skewed.
From what she understood, the Lu Family had helped Mo Yougen’s family greatly, yet in his mouth, it was twisted into the Lu Family flattering the powerful.
Yiyi initially planned to leave since with so many kids around, finding any traces would likely be impossible.
But before she could go, her gaze caught Mo Kailuo’s back. On his shoulder blade was a leaf-shaped birthmark, identical to the one on Li Xue’er’s son’s body.
Seeing this, Yiyi couldn’t help but smile.
Indeed, no effort was needed to find what one sought far and wide; the evidence lay amongst the children.
It seed that the leaf-shaped birthmark was a Mo Yougen family trait. If others saw the birthmark on Li Xue’er’s son, they’d surely realize the child was Mo Yougen’s.
Thinking of this, a smile curled at Yiyi’s lips, and she turned to leave.
With so plans in mind, she left without looking back, heading to Mo Bajin’s house. She didn’t rush inside but first observed for a while. Once sure Mo Bajin was alone, she quietly entered.
Mo Bajin lay weakly in bed, flipping aimlessly, until he suddenly saw Mo Yiyi standing beside the bed, startling him into a shiver. Then he shriekingly asked, "Mo Yiyi, how are you here?"
Seeing Mo Bajin’s pale and gaunt face, Yiyi couldn’t help but smile.
"Of course, I ca to see you."
"Hmph... A wolf with malicious intent visits a chicken for New Year, what ill intentions you bear coming to see suddenly, what do you want?"
Seeing Mo Yiyi again made Mo Bajin’s heart fill with unease; this girl was cunning, ruthless, and had those terrifying poisons, leaving him thoroughly afraid of her.
"Have you been feeling weak, lying in bed all the ti? Alas... truly hard to manage, not able to go for a stroll."
Hearing this, Mo Bajin’s previously pale face flushed red, from anger.
"You... It was you."
Originally puzzled by his sudden weakness, he discovered through Yiyi’s revelation that she had poisoned him again, leading to his current condition.
"What did you do to ?"
Yiyi, hearing this, laughed and said, "I did nothing; don’t falsely accuse . I just saw your recent poor health, reminded myself that I can cure your weakness, what do you think? Help with one thing, and I’ll have you energized by tomorrow."
Mo Bajin was doubtful of Yiyi’s words.
"Your words are untrustworthy, don’t expect to help you."
"Then keep lying in bed."
Yiyi finished speaking, turned, and started to leave.

Seeing Yiyi about to leave without hesitation, Mo Bajin couldn’t help but tense; he didn’t want to continue lying around, or he’d surely grow moldy.
