The smirk on Foras’s face was truly infuriating, but Moku could detect a frown beneath it, making him realize that Coin Determination wasn’t just about flipping and healing wounds.
There was a secret behind Foras’s ability, and that secret wasn’t just a re curse.
The Curse Spell Faction was a relatively new type of Mana usage on the continent of er.
Similar to the Soul and Sound Spell Faction that showed its fangs during the First Mana Species War, no one could withstand the elves using the Soul and Sound Spell Faction until humans, after sacrificing many lives, managed to unlock the secrets of that power.
Currently, the Soul and Sound Spell Faction is just considered one of many spell factions. Though still deadly to their enemies, it’s no longer as invincible as it once was.
The sa fate would befall the Curse Spell Faction.
Sooner or later, the enemies of the demon species would learn how to counter their power.
Thus, facing demons shouldn’t be as difficult as this, but unfortunately, Foras was different from other demons. He was a specialist in the developnt of the Curse Spell Faction.
"Attack!" Moku commanded.
Once again, thousands of Shadow Soldiers surrounded Foras from all sides.
But this ti, it seed that Foras had stopped playing around. He unleashed energy beam after energy beam, causing casualties to multiply exponentially among the Shadow Soldiers.
Moku no longer had much ti to uncover the secret of Coin Determination.
Luckily, he managed to reach the page of Jamus Kalimasada he was looking for.
On that page was an image of a black cat with yellow eyes like a serpent’s. The black cat had nine tails, each ending with a human skull with glowing eyes.
"Finally, the Black Cat!" Moku exclaid with joy.
Without hesitation, he channeled his dragon prana into Jamus Kalimasada. In a short ti, the book with thousands of pages transford into two yellow eyeballs identical to those of the black cat in the picture.
Moku imdiately gouged out his own eyes and replaced them with the black cat eyeballs.
His body’s regeneration should soon be activated to grow back his eyes. However, Moku restrained it temporarily, and when the black cat eyeballs entered his eye sockets, he activated his regeneration ability again.
Instantly, the dragon prana in Moku’s body seed to be sucked in very rapidly by his new eyeballs.
Myths surrounding black cats can be traced back to ancient tis when they were often associated with supernatural powers and evil spirits.
In so cultures, black cats were considered manifestations of otherworldly beings or witches.
There are two human perspectives on black cats.
So believe that crossing paths with a black cat brings bad luck. However, others consider black cats as symbols of protection for their owners.
However, in reality, black cats have no connection whatsoever with either good or bad luck. Black cats are unique creatures, and even in the Mind Realm, they hold a special place.
Moku learned this after reading a book about black cats in Mak Lampir’s library.
It explained that black cats have the ability to see threads of fate, whether they are good or bad. Cats are inherently curious animals—if they weren’t, there wouldn’t be a saying like "curiosity killed the cat".
Therefore, when they see a thread of fate that’s different from the others, they will co to investigate. That’s where they find humans who will experience either good or bad fortune in the future.
So, it’s not actually the black cat that brings good or bad fortune to humans.
Humans are the ones who will actually experience either good or bad luck, and black cats just co out of curiosity.
Irony.
However, based on Mak Lampir’s experints with black cats, it was found that their eyes are not only able to see threads of fate but also delve deeper into them, capable of unlocking all secrets not guarded by heaven.
That’s why when Moku activated his new eyes, he finally could see what was happening.
The key to all of Foras’s secrets and abilities doesn’t lie in his spells, curses, or soul but in the Domain of Doom: Amalgam of Death.
Moku had previously suspected Foras’s domain, believing its function was not just limited to killing weaker enemies or strengthening his curse power.
The main function of the Amalgam of Death is to assimilate everything within the domain into Foras’s body, making anything inside it a part of him.
So now, Moku isn’t on the continent of er anymore; he’s inside Foras’s stomach.
"How?" the question slipped out of Moku’s gaping mouth.
If he hadn’t read Mak Lampir’s notes about the black cat’s eyes, he might have considered the ability a hoax.
Because what he sees around him now is an incredibly powerful aura of fate, the sa aura he feels from Foras. So, he can’t deny the reality that he’s been teleported into Foras’s body.
However, Moku should have felt himself being teleported.
No matter how strong Foras is, he couldn’t possibly move Moku to another place without him knowing. That’s because Moku is connected to Pandava. So, if he were moved to another dinsion, Pandava would react and alert Moku.
He’s very confident in Pandava’s abilities because even if Foras could deceive Moku, he couldn’t deceive the power of the Mind Realm.
But Moku will seek answers to this strangeness later. Right now, there’s sothing more important for him to find out: Coin Determination.
When Moku shifted his focus to the coin depicting a demon and an angel above Foras’s head, he could see threads of fate connecting them.
The threads were linked to everything, like an ant’s nest binding countless leaves atop a tree. Rocks, trees, water, earth, sky, and even Moku along with all his Shadow Soldiers were connected by these threads.
At that mont, one of the Shadow Soldiers managed to strike Foras.
Though it didn’t cause significant damage, Coin Determination still flipped, revealing the demon face.
Right then, the Shadow Soldier who struck Foras was thrown back, sustaining the sa injuries he inflicted, while Foras returned to full health without a scratch.
Moku understood what happened then.
When Shadow Soldier’s punch connected to Foras the thread of fate connected to them react, stimulate Coin Determination.
This stimulation ca in the form of codes similar to binary code.
After receiving this data, Coin Determination would flip. It would then calculate the amount of fate’s strength in the Shadow Soldier’s blow compared to Foras’s fate power.
If Foras’s fate strength outweighed the Shadow Soldier’s blow, Coin Determination would show the demon face, indicating their defeat and vice versa.
To wound Foras is easy; one simply needs to deliver an attack that exceeds his fate power, prompting Coin Determination to calculate the challenger’s victory.
However, as Moku had previously discovered, the true key to Foras’s abilities lay not in Coin Determination but in the Domain of Doom: Amalgam of Death.
Foras had linked the fates of all objects, living creatures, and elents within his domain to himself. Thus, to defeat Foras’ fate power, one must deliver an attack capable of destroying everything within this domain.
It was possible, and Moku had plenty of Mantra arsenal capable of devastating Bitter Maja in an instant, let alone everything within this domain. However, Moku had to stop analyzing at that point because Coin Determination had shown a different outco than the demon face previously.
A few seconds ago, before Moku replaced his eyes with the black cat’s eyes, Foras suffered a severe blow from Giant Brajadenta one of Moku’s Mantra that capable to destroying half of Bitter Maja instantly, and Coin Determination showed its angel face.
However, although none of the attacking Shadow Soldiers died, all the wounds on Foras’ body vanished, and he returned to his original state without a scratch.
Moku was certain that it wasn’t due to Foras’s natural regeneration.
No regeneration ability in this world could match the speed of an asura’s regeneration ability. Even Moku himself, as the progenitor of asura, needed several minutes to heal from injuries similar to those Foras suffered.
So, it wasn’t due to Foras’s regeneration ability or from Foras himself.
What then caused Foras to instantly heal from such severe injuries?
Moku found the answer when he delved deeper into the threads of fate connected to Foras.
"This..."
He was stunned by what he discovered, and at that mont, Foras, who was occupied by the Shadow Soldiers, turned his attention to Moku.
"Ah, you find it finally~" Foras smiled as if pleased that soone could unlock his secret.
"You really are a madman. I thought I was already quite cruel, but it seems I am still no match for you," Moku was speechless.
"Hehehe, didn’t I say that in this world, the fate of the weak is in the hands of the strong," Foras chuckled as if finding sothing very amusing.
"So, this is the reason why a demon as powerful as you ca to this frontline. This place is not the main focus of the defense of the elf, human, and warbeast alliance, but there will still be mages guarding this area. You ca here not to fight but to seek prey, more precisely, to search for food supplies..."
Moku was slightly taken aback as he grasped the true form of Foras’s domain.
The Amalgam of Death was truly an Amalgam of Death because this domain was ford from thousands of half-death mages.
