We’re finally going premium!!!

First, the important stuff: Today’s updates are being moved to tonight. I’ll release them all at once and aim for a massive batch of over 10,000 characters.

After going premium, the regular two-Chapter daily updates will also be released together in the evening.

I’m really a new author, and I write at a turtle’s pace. It takes three or four hours just to finish a single Chapter, so any more than that is truly beyond .

So please, stop saying I’m so reincarnated old pro!

What kind of old pro takes a whole day to write 4,000 characters? That’s an insult to old pros!

If I get faster at writing in the future, I’ll try to level up into a three-Chapters-a-day beast.

If any big-shot readers are actually willing to sponsor as an Alliance Leader, I’ll even pull all-nighters for bonus Chapters. A guy can dream, right?

Q: What happened with the sudden shift in tone around Chapter 40-sothing?

A: Because this book wasn’t doing very well at the beginning. It didn’t even get a trial recomndation slot until it was almost 100,000 characters long. I started to wonder if my writing was too bland, so I decided to try a more emotionally-charged style to see if it would improve reader retention.

And... as you might have guessed, it was a complete train wreck.

I’ve been doing so deep self-reflection and have co to realize that I’m only really good at writing this kind of witty banter. So you won’t be seeing any more of that weird stuff from .

I completely accept everyone’s criticism. I haven’t deleted any comnts except for direct personal attacks or those that just say "this book is trash" from the get-go, and even then, I’ve barely deleted a handful.

However, my author dashboard shows that a lot of comnts have been deleted, and it wasn’t by . What in the world did you guys say in the Chapter comnts to get them removed?

Q: What’s the origin story of this book?

A: Obviously, it’s riding the coattails of *Cultural Invasion of the Otherworld*.

Albeit seven years late to the trend.

I was previously a ga designer with a degree in communications engineering. After working for a few years, I was "optimized" and "released back into society as a valuable talent."

Given my *incredibly* positive impression of big-city life, my *imnse* passion for working on user-acquisition-driven gas, my *beautifully* high hopes for the future of the mobile industry, and my *complete lack* of complaints about working overti for releases on an alternating five-and-six-day work week schedule...

...I decided to return to my hotown that raised , Chifeng.

I wanted to find a job that didn’t require a commute.

And then it hit : writing web novels!

At the ti, I saw that one of the platform’s "Twelve Heavenly Kings" had a book about Titanfall, so I thought I’d try writing about gas, too. But I failed to land a contract several tis.

Then I heard it was easier to get a contract with novels about the entertainnt industry, so I wrote a few of those. They all flopped. The closest I ever got was by riding the hype of a certain celebrity, but while the writing was okay, it couldn’t pass the content review.

Then, soti later, I discovered—hey!—an author I used to be a big fan of, "Sister’s Bride," had released a new book.

P.S. I had originally planned to give that new book a shout-out when my own book went premium, especially since I’m basically imitating their work. But, well...

Anyway, I thought the ’cultural invasion’ genre was really cool and wondered why no one was writing it anymore. So I just dove in headfirst, and this book is the result.

Q: Regarding the fast pacing and the scattered, "a-bit-of-this, a-bit-of-that" writing style.

A: Here’s the deal. In my outline, only the "main products" get a full narrative arc showing their reception—like the Yo-Yo, the auto-chess ga, and the two Shadow of Evil films. Everything else is ant to be woven in as minor threads, like little side stories to flesh out the world.

I tried finishing one plotline completely before moving on to the next, but I found my writing just becos repetitive when I do that. In the end, I’m just not skilled enough to write that way.

So, I started studying the style of another author I’m a big fan of, Cheng Yanqiu, and their novel, *Starting Out Unemployed, I Orchestrated the Return of the Music Industry’s Demon King*.

Their style of juggling multiple plotlines at once feels fine to , personally.

However, I know it can be frustrating for those of you following along daily, as it might feel like no single plotline ever concludes. Rest assured, everything that has been introduced will eventually be resolved.

Speaking of which, why do the authors I try to learn from either drop their books entirely or only update once every three days...?

But I won’t be like that!

Because I genuinely need this book to pay the bills.
