The next day at noon, University X.

Julian Sterling was half-sitting, half-leaning against the desk, idly toying with his laptop. The consequences of a night of excessive indulgence were that his legs were still trembling even now, his waist was sore, and that area felt distended, as if he were still holding that thing inside.

Ethan Caldwell was a bastard!

He did not know how many tis he had cursed him today, but from morning until now, whenever Julian had a free mont, he would curse Ethan Caldwell once.

He had no idea what restraint was; sooner or later, he would die from exhaustion! Damn it, he had to find a way to make that stinking man practice abstinence. At this rate, let alone sitting around doing nothing and enjoying life, he would be lucky just to keep this life of his.

"Jules, hey, are you listening to ?" Lucas Hill waved his pen in front of his face, then suddenly noticed the hickey on Julian’s neck and gave a wicked smile. "Hey, you’ve only been apart for a morning and you’re already starting to miss your husband?"

"Don’t ntion him to ." Julian glanced at Lucas, then looked at the screen full of data on Lucas’s computer, frowning slightly.

Lucas saw his action and chuckled, not pursuing the topic related to this newlywed couple anymore, but pointing at his own work. "You also see there is a problem with it, right? Actually, it was even ssier this morning, but just now a new friend I t on the forum taught a thod."

As he spoke, he used his pen to circle two fragnted areas of data on the screen. "Here, randomize the data again, run a scenario analysis, then manually adjust it bit by bit. Combined with my thod, it ca out like this."

Julian propped his chin up, looking at these figures, then listened to what Lucas recounted, and chuckled softly. "Is that also a contestant in that competition?"

"That’s right, otherwise who would have the free ti to do this damn stuff." After Lucas finished speaking, he used the simulation software to run the data again to see if adjusting it in other directions would deviate the standardized data.

Conversely, Julian said nothing, only watching his attentive appearance, then reached out to stroke the edge of his own laptop.

Early this morning, Lucas had sought him out. Although Lucas did not say it outright, that attitude was very clear - he wanted to cooperate with Julian. And the first hurdle was this data competition.

Julian could only help him in the capacity of a scheming "young master" who knew how to bide his ti, but he could absolutely not reveal his own data analysis abilities.

After all, the things Julian had spent a third of his life learning were hard for a university student to touch upon. Naturally, there were many smart people; perhaps Lucas, or Vincent Vaughn, could easily understand it.

But a child who had lived in poverty for over ten years like the "Julian Sterling" of this life could not. At least during this period, he could not reveal that he had the ability to handle these problems. Lucas was talented and could be a partner, but in Julian’s eyes, Lucas had not yet reached the level where Julian could drop his guard and reveal all his trump cards.

In this world, only Julian himself was his own support; he could not trust anyone, nor could he be completely frank in front of them. Sotis a perfect mask, and the plays set up, would be the key points that would save his life later.

Julian narrowed his eyes, his fingers tapping rhythmically on the laptop.

If he guessed correctly, the online friend Lucas ntioned was none other than Vincent Vaughn. If that was the case, he had to find a way to make Azure Caine show his face.

He glanced at Lucas’s computer screen one more ti, then lowered his head, calculating a few scenarios on his own phone.

A mont later, Julian’s phone vibrated. He looked at the na displayed on the screen and bluntly pressed the button to reject the call. However, thinking of the appointnt this afternoon, Julian could only slowly pack up his things. He turned around and said to Lucas, "I have an appointnt this afternoon. You take your ti thinking about it, or you can go on the forum to find more allies. I’m leaving first."

Lucas waved his hand at him but did not look up.

Julian finished packing his things and walked toward the school gate. Today he walked very slowly, inching forward with small steps. Fortunately, it was lunch hour, so there were not too many people in the lecture hall, and no one noticed Julian’s slightly peculiar gait.

Honestly, if he were not inside the university, he would have already held his waist while walking.

His whole body did not have a shred of strength. Oh, he wanted to smash Ethan Caldwell flat!

Reluctantly dragging his battered body to the school gate, Julian only needed a single glance to see his husband’s black car parked in the corner.

He stood right at the entrance, his eyes looking toward the parked car. Before long, it started up and rolled toward him.

Ethan Caldwell stepped out of the car from the driver’s seat, then opened the passenger door for him, and conveniently took Julian’s bag to toss it into the back seat.

Julian climbed into the seat with a cold face, only then realizing that the passenger seat was lined with a very soft cushion, and there was also a small pillow on the seat to prop up his waist.

But Julian’s face was still very unpleasant.

Ethan got into the car and smiled at him. "There are still more than two hours until the appointnt; shall I take you to have lunch first?"

"Eat what? Slurp porridge again?"

"I know there is a restaurant nearby that serves quite light food, suitable for you." Ethan Caldwell took the opportunity while stopping at a red light to lean over and kiss him on the cheek. "Your mouth is pouting so much it could hang a wine bottle."

Julian gave Ethan a sharp glance. He gritted his teeth and said, "Next ti, if you are that excessive again, don’t expect to crawl into my bed!"

"Alright, alright, I know, baby." Ethan laughed heartily and steered to the left. He drove quite slowly, mainly fearing that the bumps would make Julian uncomfortable.

But the other person did not care at all; his face was still annoyed, occasionally throwing side-eyes at Ethan. Seeing this, Ethan rubbed his nose; he also knew that he had gone a bit overboard yesterday, so he said nothing.
