The next morning at Pearl Villa carried a warmth that had been missing for years.

Sunlight stread gently through the kitchen windows, falling over the marble counter where Elena stood preparing breakfast. The soft aroma of fresh food filled the air, wrapping the house in a comforting calm.

Silvey stood beside her, sleeves slightly rolled, trying to help but mostly watching in admiration.

The sound of footsteps approached.

Miles walked in, stretching lightly, his expression relaxed.

"Sothing slls good."

Silvey turned toward him with a smile.

"Aunt’s cooking is so magic."

Miles leaned against the counter, glancing at her with a teasing look.

"What are you doing in the kitchen, Miss foreign return?"

Silvey raised a brow.

"See who is talking. The secret chairman himself."

Miles chuckled softly, then turned toward Elena.

"Mom, you good?"

Elena smiled, her face glowing with quiet happiness.

"I am happy, dear. The ho feels livelier."

Miles reached for an apple from the fruit bowl and took a bite without hesitation.

Elena shook her head slightly.

"You should at least wash it, son."

Miles swallowed and gave a small grin.

"Sorry, Mom."

He looked around.

"Where are the little rockets? Not up yet?"

Elena continued working as she answered.

"Asher is in the bathroom. Hope was telling stories to grandpa last night. She is still sleeping."

Miles paused mid-bite.

"What, really? That was unexpected."

Elena smiled gently.

"When Daniel was in a coma, she used to do the sa. I told her that her dad could hear her."

Silvey’s expression softened.

"She is so sweet. Both of them are."

Elena glanced at her warmly.

"You should stay a few more days."

Silvey sighed lightly.

"So much work is pending, Aunt. I cannot stay longer. Grandpa will scold if I don’t go back to the office."

Miles laughed.

"No doubt he will."

Elena placed the last dish on the table.

"Work is important, but family is important too."

The breakfast that followed was filled with light conversation and quiet laughter. For a mont, everything felt normal. Peaceful.

After the al, Silvey prepared to leave for the airport. Goodbyes were warm, promises were made, and the villa slowly returned to its usual rhythm.

Miles and Monica left soon after, each heading toward their responsibilities.

When Miles entered his office, the atmosphere shifted again.

Dion stood near the window, looking out at the city below.

His posture was relaxed, but his eyes carried thought.

Miles walked in quietly.

"You good?"

Dion turned slightly, a faint smile appearing.

"Yes. I was just thinking about the past and how far we have co."

Miles stepped closer, folding his arms casually.

"Guess life is not a race anymore?"

Dion chuckled.

"No, it is not."

There was a brief pause.

Then his expression changed.

"I have good news."

Miles looked at him, noticing the difference instantly.

"Don’t tell ..."

Dion nodded, his smile widening.

"Yes. You are going to be an uncle."

For a second, Miles stood still.

Then his eyes lit up.

"Really?"

Genuine happiness filled his face.

"That is great news."

Dion’s voice softened.

"Thanks to you, I could start a family."

Miles stepped forward and pulled him into a hug.

"Congratulations to both of you."

He stepped back, still smiling.

"Now I need to see Flora. Where is she?"

Dion shook his head.

"She is on her floor, working on paperwork for the upcoming shipnt."

Miles frowned slightly.

"She should take a break now. You too."

Dion smiled.

"We just got the news. We will take leave when needed."

Miles nodded.

"Alright."

Dion’s expression turned serious again.

"Let’s talk about why we are here."

Miles gestured toward the seating area.

"Sit."

Both of them took their seats, facing each other.

Miles leaned forward slightly.

"I found the people responsible for everything."

Dion’s gaze sharpened.

"You an your family’s situation?"

Miles nodded.

"Yes."

Dion exhaled slowly.

"Mordecai... they are not simple enemies."

His voice grew heavier.

"When I went rogue, I dealt with them multiple tis in illegal weapon transactions."

He reached for the file he had already placed on the table.

"I have soone inside."

Miles picked up the file, flipping through the pages carefully.

"Who is he? Soone important to you?"

Dion shook his head.

"Not really. His na is Rik."

A slight pause.

"Pay him, and he will do anything."

Miles looked at the docunts with interest.

"Sounds like an important person."

He closed the file halfway.

"Thanks for this."

Dion nodded.

"I am also compiling everything we have on Mordecai from the business side. I will send you the full data soon."

Miles leaned back slightly.

"You are a lifesaver."

Dion sighed lightly.

"Just tell what I can do."

Miles shook his head.

"You are already doing enough."

Dion stood up.

"Alright. Just... tell this news to Uncle and Aunt."

Miles smiled.

"You should tell them yourself. It will an more."

Dion nodded.

"Understood."

He turned toward the door.

"I am heading down. Take care."

Miles watched him leave, a faint smile still on his face. The happiness for his friend lingered for a mont before his attention returned to the file in his hands.

His eyes scanned the pages again.

Focused.

Sharp.

The door opened again.

June stepped in.

"Boss, General Wilfred is on the line."

Miles reached forward and pressed the button on his desk.

His expression shifted back to calm authority.

"Greetings, General."

Wilfred’s voice ca through the line with a faint trace of amusent.

"So... a General to General talk then."

Miles leaned back slightly in his chair.

"Just treat normally."

Wilfred let out a quiet chuckle.

"We only talk normally to normal people."

A brief pause.

"You are... far from that."

His tone shifted.

"Tell . What do you want to ask?"

Miles’ eyes sharpened.

"It’s about Mordecai."

Silence followed.

Not the kind that cos from confusion.

But the kind that cos from understanding.

Wilfred spoke again, slower this ti.

"This is not about business, is it?"

A pause.

"It’s personal."

Miles’ gaze lifted slightly.

"It is."

Another silence.

Then

Wilfred exhaled.

"I knew this day would co."

His voice carried weight now.

"Mordecai has been a problem for years."

A faint bitterness slipped through.

"But now..."

A small pause.

"Maybe it is ti."

Miles leaned forward slightly.

"So you knew?"

Wilfred responded calmly.

"More or less."

A pause.

"But I did not know who to tell."

"You were Ghost of the Graveyard back then..."

Another pause.

"Not the heir of Sterling."

Miles’ fingers tapped lightly against the desk.

"Then we need to talk about them."

Wilfred let out a slow breath.

"It is not that simple."

A brief silence.

Then

"How about a favor for a favor?"

Miles did not hesitate.

"Anything you ask."

Wilfred’s tone shifted.

"Then listen carefully."

...

Few Years Back - President’s Office

The room carried authority.

Quiet.

Controlled.

Every object placed with purpose.

A knock echoed against the wooden door.

"Co in, General."

Wilfred stepped inside and saluted imdiately.

"Mr. President."

As he straightened, his eyes shifted

And paused.

A boy.

Sitting casually on a chair to the side.

A hoodie covering most of his figure.

Silent.

Still.

Wilfred frowned slightly.

"Who is this boy, Mr. President?"

The President leaned back in his chair, watching him with a faint smile.

"Believe ..."

A small pause.

"You will be more surprised than I was when you find out who he is."

Wilfred hesitated for a mont.

Then spoke cautiously.

"I did not have any affairs, sir. I have a family back ho."

The President burst into laughter.

"You never change, Wilfred."

Wilfred cleared his throat slightly.

"So... what is his na?"

The President’s smile faded into sothing more serious.

"He does not have one."

Wilfred’s brows furrowed.

The President continued.

"He is the new wave in the rcenary world."

A pause.

"The one who has terrified more people than anyone else in recent years."

His eyes shifted toward the boy.

"He is the Ghost of the Graveyard."

For a mont

Wilfred said nothing.

Then his eyes widened.

Shock.

Real.

Unfiltered.

"You an... this boy... is the Ghost?"

His gaze moved back to the figure.

Trying to match the legend with what he saw.

A teenager.

Calm.

Quiet.

Almost... innocent.

The President chuckled.

"See?"

"You are more surprised than I expected."

Wilfred stared at the boy again.

Studying him.

"What has Graveyard created this ti..."

The President leaned forward slightly.

"He will be joining your upcoming mission."

A pause.

"Graveyard has sent their best."

Wilfred straightened.

His voice steady again.

"As you command, Mr. President."

Then he turned.

Walked toward the boy.

Stopped in front of him.

For a mont, he simply looked at him.

Then "So... Ghost of the Graveyard."

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"Co with ."

His tone carried both curiosity and challenge.

"Let introduce you to the Army of Haven."
