He tried to recall the events surrounding Mrs. Winslow's attack, searching for any detail that might be significant. But nothing stood out. He had been so deeply imrsed in his 'sleep' that he hadn't stirred during the attack. In fact, the only thing that finally snapped him back to awareness was the piercing scream that followed.

Although this all took place within the ga, the system was designed to make every experience feel as real as possible. While he hadn't truly lost consciousness, the ga created the illusion that he had. As a result, he neither felt nor heard anything during the attack, completely imrsed in the enforced state of 'unconsciousness.'

"It's possible," Shen Ji Yun replied thoughtfully. "But I think it would be more useful to look for a connection—or at least so similarity—between Mrs. Winslow and this new victim."

Luo Yan nodded, agreeing. It wasn't just about finding a connection between Mrs. Winslow and the new victim—it was also about identifying any similarities they might share. AmazingYoungMasterJin: [Do you have a plan?] Noctis: [Kind of. I just need to test it and see if it works.] Morganite: [Got it. I'll ssage you once I've managed to lure our 'target.'] AmazingYoungMasterJin: [Now, why do I suddenly feel useless? Is there anything I can do to help?] Noctis: [Actually, it'd be really helpful if you could play the flirting target for Brother Ji Yun.] As soon as Luo Yan sent the ssage, he heard Shen Ji Yun let out a low groan beside him, the kind that clearly conveyed discomfort. Judging by the expression on his face, the thought alone was already giving him goosebumps—and definitely not the good kind. Luo Jin seed to feel the sa way, responding in the chat with nothing more than a string of ellipses.

But at the end, the other still responded with;

And keeping their "flirting" private was clearly the best option. Noctis: [Do you have eyes on him? Keep updated on his movents while I head to the observation deck.] Morganite: [Got it. I'll let you know if anything changes.] After that, Luo Yan turned to Shen Ji Yun and said, "I'm heading to the observation deck now."

"Then I'll head to Luo Jin's cabin to get my 'fix,'" Shen Ji Yun said dryly, a slight wince crossing his face. "I'll co find you after."

Luo Yan flashed a teasing smile and gave a playful tug on Shen Ji Yun's coat. "Careful not to be too sweet to my brother, or soone might end up feeling jealous."

The corner of Shen Ji Yun's lips quirked up, his voice calm but laced with amusent. "Then maybe that soone should rember they're the only one I'd ever be sweet to."

And with that, the two of them separated.
