THE next day at 10 AM, the Luo family welcod three guests—Shen Ji Yun, Bai Ze, and Su Yuqi. They'd left B City early to fly to S City. Luo Yan had asked their father if the three could stay at their mansion, and of course, the other agreed imdiately. That's why when the three arrived at the airport, they were imdiately picked up by the driver Luo Wei Tian had sent.

After lunch, they all headed to Dragon Do in Luo Wei Tian's SUV—he'd insisted on driving them himself. Only Luo Ren wasn't with them; he'd left earlier to pick up Yu Jiao, and the two would et the group at the venue.

Luo Yan was relieved that Moonlight dia allowed each team mber to bring one or two guests with them. This ant his father, brother, and Yu Jiao could enter without waiting in line. The ga had provided VIP seatings for the people personally invited by the mbers of the two teams.

Traffic delayed them nearly an hour, but their early lunch ant they still arrived at the venue by 12:10—leaving plenty of ti before the finals. As his father parked the SUV, Luo Yan's phone buzzed with a ssage from Luo Ren.

[Ren]: We're near the venue. Are you there yet?

[YanYan1213]: We're here already.

[Ren]: Okay. Wait for a bit. We'll arrive in about five minutes.

"Dad, Brother says they're almost here," Luo Yan inford his father as everyone began exiting the SUV.

"Good. We won't have to wait long then," Luo Wei Tian replied, shutting the driver's side door.

He glanced toward the do's entrance, his brows furrowing slightly at the long line of people waiting to get in. Luo Yan had ntioned it was free admission—anyone could enter until the venue reached capacity. Still, he hadn't expected this many people still queuing when there's less than an hour left until the finals started.

Luo Wei Tian was reminded once more of the ga's staggering popularity in their country. Investing in Moonlight dia had clearly been the right decision. He shook his head—now wasn't the ti for such thoughts. His eyes returned to the snaking queue. Was this safe? Were security asures adequate? Surely they'd prevented any risk of a stampede?

Shen Ji Yun must have noticed his expression, because the other suddenly said, "Don't worry, Uncle Wei Tian. The venue has full security teams monitoring the crowd. They've handled events twice this size without incident."

Luo Wei Tian sighed in relief before another concern surfaced. "Is there another entrance we can use?"

He didn't want them entering through that crowded line. What if soone took offense, thinking they were receiving special treatnt, and decided to confront them? He knew he might be overreacting, but he wasn't just responsible for his sons—he had his nephew, his nephew's best friend, and the two young ladies Luo Ren and Luo Jin cared about with him. Wasn't it natural to be cautious?

Luo Wei Tian's gaze drifted to the young woman beside Luo Jin. Their last real-world eting had been during the Mid-Autumn Festival—back when her hair was bleached silver. Now it shimred purple and blue. Her high ponytail drawing attention to the dozen silver hoops climbing her ears. She wore a fitted black top with strategic cutouts along the ribs, paired with tight vinyl shorts and knee-high buckled boots. Her winged eyeliner and purple lipstick seed almost subdued compared to the studded choker digging into her throat.

She was certainly... distinctive. At least in her fashion choices. Not that Luo Wei Tian was judging—people had every right to express themselves through clothing. After all, how soone dressed didn't define their entire character.

Anyway, since arriving earlier, Luo Jin had been sticking to Su Yuqi like glue. Now that he could see them interacting, it was glaringly obvious how much his son liked the girl. But the way Su Yuqi was looking at Luo Jin, it seed more like she's looking at a chihuahua she's very fond of instead of a guy she liked.

Luo Wei Tian studied his son with a pang of sympathy. Should he teach his youngest how to properly court a girl?

"There's a separate entrance for the competing teams and their guests, so Uncle Wei Tian doesn't need to worry."

Shen Ji Yun's response to his earlier question pulled Luo Wei Tian out of his own thoughts. He nodded, quite satisfied with the answer.

"Oh, there's Brother!" Luo Yan said, spotting a blue BMW pulling up nearby.

Luo Ren stepped out of the BMW and circled to the passenger side. He pulled the door open, and a tall young woman erged.

Bai Ze followed everyone's gaze and imdiately spotted his older cousin. Then his gaze landed on the girl beside him. Her black hair was pulled into a loose ponytail at the nape of her neck. A plain gray t-shirt and straight-cut jeans hung on her fra, the outfit finished with worn white sneakers. From this distance, she looked more like a teenage boy than a girl. Had he not known better, he might've genuinely mistaken her for male.

Good thing he had t the other during Luo Yan's graduation. At least, seeing Yu Jiao now didn't surprise him that much. Ah, right. This was the first ti Su Yuqi would be eting Yu Jiao in reality. He suddenly thought of sothing.

He turned to Su Yuqi. "Hey, Su Yuqi, don't you think that guy with Brother Ren is handso?"

Su Yuqi stared at him like he'd just said the most idiotic thing. "You think I wouldn't recognize Vulcan? First, she looks exactly like her avatar. Second, we've known for ages Vulcan's a girl. Third, Luo Ren literally said he was picking up Yu Jiao. Unlike you, my brain actually functions and can put two and two together. If you're trying to embarrass , maybe develop a working brain first."

Luo Wei Tian nearly choked on his own saliva at Su Yuqi's remark. His gaze shifted to his nephew, now flushed crimson with embarrassnt. He felt a bit worried. Should he speak to Bai Chen about enrolling Bai Ze in basic common sense classes? Or maybe IQ classes would be better?
