"Lost your voice, have you?"
Under the tranquil night sky, the sharp sound of slapping rang out continuously.
Suddenly, Qin Fan let out a stern shout.
Liao Yuanhang, having temporarily resigned himself to his fate, unclenched his jaw. "I'm sorry!"
"Continue!" Qin Fan commanded emotionlessly.
The sound of self-inflicted slaps mingled with repetitive apologies, becoming the dominant lody of the night.
Across from Liao Yuanhang, the seventeen soldiers remained imrsed in a state of utter bewildernt.
A Dark Energy Master is kneeling before us? A mber of the Liao Family is apologizing by slapping his own face? Liao Yuanhang, who is said to have a Grandmaster from the Heavenly List backing him, has been reduced to this? Any one of these things would be utterly unbelievable! Yet now, they're all happening right under our noses?
The sound of slapping gradually softened, and the apologies grew weaker. Five minutes passed, and Liao Yuanhang's cheeks had swollen to the size of a pig's head.
But no one had told him to stop, so he dared not stop.

The eerie atmosphere was suddenly shattered by the roar of approaching military vehicles.
Two Eastern Warriors ca skidding through the sand, braking sharply to a halt in front of Qin Fan.
CLATTER. The car doors flew open in unison.
The captain who had escaped earlier jumped out first. He was followed by an elderly man in a military uniform and a middle-aged man in his forties wearing civilian clothes, both of whom hurriedly got out.
"Stop!" the old man roared, his face filled with anger as he stared at Liao Yuanhang's back.
SWOOSH!
Hearing that familiar voice, Liao Yuanhang subconsciously stopped.
"Keep slapping. Keep apologizing," Qin Fan huffed coldly.
SLAP!
"I'm sorry!"
SLAP!
"I'm sorry!"
It was as if Qin Fan, that devil, had taken root in his heart. At the command, a trembling Liao Yuanhang reflexively began slapping and shouting again.
The sight of this nearly made the old man spit out a mouthful of blood in a violent rage.
During the brief pause, the seventeen soldiers finally snapped back to their senses. They all looked at Qin Fan and stamred, "In-Instructor, that's… that's enough!"
Over a dozen stamred, astonished voices intertwined. At that mont, all seventeen of them forgot the humiliation and pain Qin Fan had recently inflicted upon them. Their unified cry of "Instructor" was an undeniable acknowledgnt of his identity.
"Alright, you can stop now," Qin Fan said with a light chuckle, shaking his head.
Liao Yuanhang let out a heavy gasp, as if he had been granted amnesty. He was on the verge of collapse, his mind completely blank.
As he stopped, the elderly general with a single star on his uniform strode toward him, his face filled with fury.
"Father!" Liao Yuanhang, still kneeling, lifted his head and looked at the stern face in panic.
SLAP!
In response, the uniford general delivered a powerful, hate-filled slap. The force of the blow sent Liao Yuanhang tumbling sideways. "A disgrace to our house! The face of the Liao Family, the dignity of the Liao Family… you worthless beast, you've thrown it all away!"
After that trembling shout, the general turned and roared, "Soone, carry this beast to the car!"
Hearing this, the captain imdiately sprinted over and hoisted Liao Yuanhang onto his back. He shot Qin Fan a look filled with venomous hatred and anger before silently carrying Liao Yuanhang back to the military vehicle.
Without lingering, they started the engine, shifted into gear, and sped away.
"Young man, don't you think you went a bit too far?" Knowing that Qin Fan was the instructor invited by Han Rongguang, the old man stared at him with an icy expression, his face dark with anger.
"He tried to act tough and got put in his place. That's just how the Heavenly Dao works," Qin Fan said with a dismissive smile. "There's nothing excessive about it. Everyone has to pay for their actions. Unfortunately for him, that unlucky fool chose the wrong ti and place to say the wrong things. He doesn't deserve any pity for how this ended. In fact, I was rciful enough. If there's nothing else, please be on your way, sir. Don't disturb my training."
"He is my son, Liao Yuan's son!" the old man gritted out. "He is a mber of my Liao Family!"
"When I discipline soone, I don't care who they are or what their status is," Qin Fan scoffed, shaking his head. "I don't know anything about any Liao Family. Even if his father were the Heavenly King himself, he wouldn't have escaped this fate today."
HONK! HONK!
Just as Qin Fan finished speaking, another military vehicle sped over. It honked as it pulled to a stop nearby, and Han Rongguang and Ye Jiguang quickly got out and walked toward Qin Fan.
"General!" everyone, except for Liao Yuan, the man in civilian clothes, and Qin Fan, shouted as they raised their hands in a salute.
Han Rongguang nodded and waved his hand, quickly approaching Qin Fan's side.
But before he could speak, the old man cut in, his voice cold and demanding. "Old Han, I'm sure you know what happened here. Don't you think you owe an explanation?"
The man in civilian clothes, Ye Jizu, let out a soft breath and gave his head a playful shake.
Han Rongguang, however, looked at the uniford general with a slight, unreadable smile. "An explanation? Elder Liao, you want an explanation, is that right? Very well, I'll give you one. My absolute priority is to help the Northwest Military Region escape the disgrace of finishing last in the upcoming competition between the seven military regions. For that, I would applaud this outco for Liao Yuanhang, even if he were a genuine mber of our military, let alone an outsider! You and I both know what he ca here to do and what was on his mind, don't we, Elder Liao? To be honest, I don't know the specifics of what transpired, but that doesn't stop from cheering. He deserved it because he brought it upon himself. Now, Elder Liao, are you satisfied with that explanation?"
"Old Han, how can you say such things?" The uniford general was stunned. He never expected Han Rongguang to speak so bluntly.
"And why shouldn't I? Elder Liao, you know exactly what your Liao faction is like, so a hint should be enough. I don't want to say too much. Right now, nothing is more important to than shedding the sha of last place. So, given that, anyone who dares to mock, sche, or obstruct … don't bla for turning hostile. Your Liao Family may not care about the honor of the Northwest Military Region, but I, Han Rongguang, certainly do!" Han Rongguang stated firmly, his face grim and his tone leaving no room for argunt.
The re fact that the Liao Family had tried to push Liao Yuanhang as the instructor had already filled Han Rongguang with resentnt. Now that the young Grandmaster Qin Fan had arrived, Liao Yuanhang had the audacity to co and cause trouble. If this had actually made Qin Fan throw in the towel and return to Jiangzhou, Han Rongguang would have been ready to kill soone. In this situation, he no longer cared about saving face.

As soon as Han Rongguang finished speaking, the middle-aged man in civilian clothes suddenly spoke up, a fake smile plastered on his face.
