A gunfight erupted on the streets of Tokyo. The entire city was imdiately placed on a First Level security alert, and in this age of advanced social dia, footage of the incident spread with incredible speed.
At the Tokyo tropolitan Police Departnt, high-ranking officials hastily convened an ergency eting. Inside the conference room, the chief slamd his fist on the table and bellowed, "Damn it! Can soone tell what the hell is going on? A gunfight! AK-47s! Bullets flying everywhere! Thirty-six people are dead, and the scene is a grueso, dismbered ss, like a slaughterhouse! Do you have any idea what this ans for our city? A tragedy that’s bound to shock the entire world has occurred right in our bustling downtown district! Damn it, damn it!"
In the face of their chief’s furious roar, the officials seated around the table fell silent, their faces etched with panic and unease. Having reached their positions, none of them lacked political awareness. They knew that if this matter was mishandled in the slightest, their entire leadership team would be held accountable.
After venting his anger, the chief began to compose himself. He pointed a stern finger at an official and ordered, "Iguchi! Imdiately have the web monitoring departnt scrub all footage of the incident from the internet!"
"Yes, Chief Matsudo!" The officer nad Iguchi sprang to his feet and hurried out.
"Matsuno! Find out the identities of those dead scumbags right now! I want answers as quickly as possible!"
"Yes, Chief Matsudo!"
"Ota! Arrange for tight surveillance on that damn Huaxia man from the Hua Sheng Group! I want to know everything—how long he spends in the bathroom, what he eats, how much water he drinks. Do not miss a single detail! Damn it!"
"Yes, Chief Matsudo!"
"Suzuki! Thoroughly investigate the two Huaxia n who were involved in the fight. Find out their backgrounds and why they’re in Tokyo! Also, have our forces on standby, ready to raid the Hua Sheng Group at a mont’s notice!"
"Yes, Chief Matsudo!"
At the command of the Chief of Police, Matsudo Maki, the officials who had been given orders all hurried out, leaving the conference room half-empty. He plopped down into his chair, seemingly having aged several years in an instant. "Bring the surveillance footage of the scene imdiately!" he ordered wearily. "Not a single detail can be missed."
「anwhile.」
In a secluded teahouse in Japan, far from the bustling city, a gentle, traditional lody played in a private room. Several middle-aged n sat cross-legged on the floor around an exquisite low table, where cups of freshly poured tea stead in the quiet air.
SWOOSH!
The wooden door slid open, and a young man rushed in with a frantic expression. "We have a problem!" he exclaid.
"Speak," the man at the head of the group said calmly, taking a sip from his teacup.
"Hua Xiaotian of Huaxia and that recently famous young Grandmaster, Qin Fan, have entered Tokyo!" the young man reported breathlessly. "Just a short while ago, a battle took place on the streets. Gao Qi of the Hua Sheng Group was attacked in his Rolls-Royce by masked n with AK-47s! Not only did they fail to kill him, but they were utterly annihilated by Qin Fan and Hua Xiaotian! Their manner of death was extrely brutal!"
Hua Xiaotian is here? And that young Grandmaster, Qin Fan?
Hearing the report, the middle-aged n seated on the floor frowned. The leader waved a hand at the young man, who imdiately understood, bowed, and excused himself from the room.
"Hua Xiaotian and Qin Fan are here. What are your thoughts?" the lead man asked, his brow furrowed.
"They’re clearly up to no good," one of them said.
"Then let’s make sure they stay in Japan forever!" another declared.
"Regardless of their purpose, entering Japan so brazenly without notifying us is a death wish!"
"Hmm," the leader, dressed in a white kimono, nodded faintly. "Let’s not be hasty. First, let’s see what they’re planning."
As he finished speaking, he flicked the teacup in his hand.
FLICK!
In the next instant, the splashing tea transford into a kaleidoscope of colorful butterflies that flew straight through the thick wooden door and out into the world.
In the heart of Tokyo’s Central Business District, a skyscraper with distinct Huaxia architectural features rose prominently from the ground. Four gleaming golden characters spelling out "Hua Sheng Group" were carved flamboyantly onto its facade.
Outside the building, the battered Rolls-Royce pulled to a stop. Qin Fan, Hua Xiaotian, and Gao Qi stepped out.
"Master Hua, Master Qin, I have a simple al and so wine prepared. Please, allow to welco you properly," Gao Qi said, his composure restored. Having had ti to calm down on the way here, he had clearly recovered from the shock of the earlier carnage.
"Alright," Qin Fan replied with a slight nod and a smile.
"This way, then!" Gao Qi said, smiling as he led them toward a transparent glass elevator on the building’s exterior.
BEEP. After a successful fingerprint scan, the doors opened, and the three of them stepped inside.
As the elevator stopped on the top floor, Hua Xiaotian, walking out behind Gao Qi, asked in a low voice, "Little Qi, I assu the Tokyo tropolitan Police will be knocking on our door soon?"
"Let them knock. Those damn Japanese can wait," Gao Qi said crudely. "Hell, even if they weren’t coming for , I’d still be paying them a visit to demand an explanation!"
"Master Qin, it seems we’ve caused a storm the mont we set foot in Japan," Hua Xiaotian said, shaking his head with a wry smile. "I’m sure our identities have already been exposed by now."
"That’s precisely the effect I was hoping for. I have no interest in sneak attacks," Qin Fan said with a faint, wild smirk. "Taking this opportunity to announce our arrival to those Japanese devils isn’t a bad choice at all."
As they approached the banquet hall, just as Qin Fan finished speaking, several beautiful won in cheongsams standing guard outside smiled and greeted them respectfully, "Good evening, Chairman."
"Alright, you are all dismissed," Gao Qi responded with a smile. "Pass on my orders—no one is to co up here without my express command."
"Yes, Chairman," the young won replied in unison, turning and walking away with elegant, synchronized steps.
The banquet hall was the epito of luxury. A vast array of exotic delicacies, all steaming hot, covered the dining table, their enticing aromas wafting through the air. Seeing the spread, Hua Xiaotian couldn’t help but remark, "Well, this is decadent."
"It can’t be more decadent than your Guardian Institute using Spirit Water No. 1 for its daily drinking water," Qin Fan teased, looking at Hua Xiaotian.
"Ahem!" Hua Xiaotian coughed awkwardly, knowing exactly what Qin Fan was referring to.
"Haha, let’s not debate decadence for now! Master Hua, Master Qin, please, take your seats. The food will get cold!" Gao Qi laughed heartily. He shrewdly pulled out their chairs for them, his tone fawning.
