The mories continued...

"Do you want to save them?"

A calm voice suddenly echoed through the chaos, almost too casual for the deadly battlefield it interrupted.

Long Tianzhi instantly turned around, his body tensing in instinctive vigilance. His aura flared, ready to counter any threat.

"Myself ans no harm," the voice said again. "If you wish to save—"

"...It’s you," Long Tianzhi interrupted, his eyes narrowing. "Heaven Fate Emperor."

His tone wasn’t one of surprise, but of confirmation. A bitter smirk curved on his lips.

"No wonder that chicken Matriarch waged war on us. So, it was you. You’re the one backing them."

Although Long Tianzhi had yet to break into the Celestial Immortal Realm, his spirit remained unshaken. He stood tall, not taking a single step back even before such a powerful foe.

The figure floating before him gave a slight nod, his tone devoid of any malice. "You truly are a descendant of the Long Clan. Sharp, perceptive... You’ve understood more than most."

"Cut the nonsense," Tianzhi snapped. "What do you want?"

The Heaven Fate Emperor’s voice turned eerily calm. "Your son’s Providence. That’s all. Let extract it, and I can guarantee your family’s survival."

Tyler, observing all of this from the shadow of mory, flinched.

"Providence?" he murmured.

Oddly, he couldn’t make out the Heaven Fate Emperor’s face. In fact, he realized he couldn’t see the face of any Celestial Immortal. It was as though an otherworldly light shielded them from being fully perceived—a divine veil that obstructed all mortal comprehension.

He rembered how difficult it had been to look directly at Princess Feng’s face. Even then, he had only caught glimpses— never the whole.

"I... can’t rember her face," Tyler muttered. "Is it so sort of authority Celestial Immortals possess?"

The mory glitched, flickering like a damaged scroll, and fast-forwarded.

"So that’s what this is really about," Long Tianzhi said coldly. "If you truly wanted my son’s Providence, you could’ve just kidnapped him. But you ca here— talking, asking permission. That ans you can’t steal it outright. Not yet."

"Indeed." The Heaven Fate Emperor smiled slightly. "Do you know how mortals harvest sugarcane? They don’t rip it out from the root. They cut it above. That way, it grows again—faster, and cheaper. Your son is like that sugarcane. If I take everything, he becos useless. But if I harvest just a portion of his Providence, his Luck... I can benefit from him repeatedly. Let him live, let you raise him well... I just want the fortune he carries, for my disciples."

"...You bastard," Tianzhi growled. "Brothers!"

He leapt back, grabbing his wife and son. In that instant, two golden figures slamd their fists toward the Heaven Fate Emperor.

Long Tianhao and Long Tianxie— his younger brothers— unleashed everything they had.

But the Heaven Fate Emperor didn’t even flinch.

"Horse," he whispered.

A black-and-white chessboard spread out beneath his feet like a divine domain. In an instant, he vanished— teleporting to another position with impossible precision.

Tyler’s eyes widened. "That’s...!"

"The Celestial Chess Domain..." Long Tianzhi whispered.

"We’re in trouble," Long Tianhao muttered.

"Famous and feared. The Celestial Chess Domain..." Long Tianxie added grimly.

Long Tianzhi turned to them. "Brothers, buy so ti. Just a little... I can still save Bai Xiaochen."

The two nodded, understanding the weight of those words. There was no hesitation in their smiles as they launched themselves at the Emperor.

anwhile, Long Tianzhi took out a short blade. With one deep breath, he slashed his own wrist. Blood flowed freely as he bent to the ground, using his Qi-infused blood to draw symbols.

"Runes?" Tyler muttered, watching closely. "No... that’s a curse array."

A heavy silence spread.

The mories Glitched... Ti moved a little forward for Tyler...

Even the Heaven Fate Emperor, mid-battle, glanced sideways. "Using your own blood to inscribe a curse? Bold. But foolish. You’re no pureblood dragon. Your Heaven Immortal blood is too diluted. It won’t hurt ."

And yet, he didn’t interrupt.

As if... curious.

Then, a new voice spoke.

"Add mine too."

Long Tianzhi’s hand paused. He looked up. "Ying’er...?"

His wife, Bai Ying’er, stood before him, her eyes fierce, her body already bloodied.

"Add my blood," she repeated. "Use the power of the God Clan. Combine it with yours. We’ll make this curse... unforgettable."

His eyes reddened. Gently, he held her hand, nodded, and without a word, she cut her palm. Together, they pressed their blood into the earth, mixing dragon and god lineage—twisting fate itself.

The mories Glitched...

From a distance, Tyler watched, silent and trembling.

He finally understood what was happening.

This wasn’t a mory stored in Little Tyler’s mind. The Feather of the Dreamwalker was recreating the past, piecing it together from karma and residual spiritual essence.

Even events unknown to him personally— he could now witness.

Suddenly, the world glitched again – Nope the mories Glitched...

Little Tyler now stood in the center of the blood-etched curse circle, unconscious. Around him, ancient symbols pulsed.

The mory skipped.

Long Tianhao and Long Tianxie fell— lifeless, their bodies glowing gold even in death.

Another glitch.

The Heaven Fate Emperor raised a brow. "How do you intend to activate such a powerful curse without any Qi source to sustain it? While trying to stop ?"

In the distance, Feng Feiyan approached, staring at the fallen brothers with gleaming eyes— like they were prized spoils of war.

Another flicker.

Bai Ying’er unsealed sothing on her son’s body. A surge of energy burst from him.

Tyler gasped. "My cultivation was sealed...? He was born at the Nascent Soul Realm?!"

Even the Heaven Fate Emperor paused. "Born as a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator? It got sealed by the parents, Since his little body couldn’t handle."

The mories Glitched.

Long Tianzhi and Bai Ying’er, swords drawn, charged toward the Heaven Fate Emperor.

Behind them, the curse array activated, drawing power from Little Tyler’s cultivation.

He beca the anchor. The fuel.

The mories Glitched again.

Ashes. Scattered in the wind.

Where Long Tianzhi and Bai Ying’er had stood... there was nothing left.

It hit Tyler like a storm. His parents, his uncles had sacrificed themselves completely— just to buy so ti from the Heaven Fate Emperor, to protect him.

Tears welled in his eyes.

The mories shifted again.

Most of the Bai Family was annihilated. The ancestral land was in ruins. Matriarch Feng—seriously injured— would only live for a few more years.

Tyler turned his head, heart pounding.

And there stood Feng Feiyan. He reached toward the unconscious Little Tyler lying at the center of the curse.

But the mont her fingers touched the boundary, a violent backlash erupted.

Crack!

His arm twisted unnaturally, a howl of pain tearing from her throat.

He had nearly lost his arm— rely from touching him.

The curse had worked.
