After three hours in the pot, the stew was finally ready to be served. Bai Xifeng poured the stew into the bowls that had been prepared by the other soldiers. After pouring about five bowls, Bai Tingfeng stopped her.

"Junior General Bai?" Bai Xifeng called him politely since there were other soldiers around.

"Stop doing that. Let them do the work. You already cooked for them." Bai Tingfeng stated.

The soldiers who heard the order smiled at Bai Xifeng.

"Sir Long, let us serve others. You can rest and leave that to us." The soldier said.

"Let’s serve General Bai and the high-ranking first." The soldiers stated.

Bai Tingfeng took two bowls and gave one to Bai Xifeng.

"You can eat first." Bai Tingfeng said.

"But..." Bai Xifeng wanted to help them to serve the stew.

"Don’t worry about that. They can handle the small tasks like this." Bai Tingfeng said.

With Bai Tingfeng’s persistence, Bai Xifeng started to eat the stew. She ended up smiling as she tasted the delicious stew.

The soldiers went to the main tent where Bai Xiang and other high-ranking soldiers were. They already could sll the delicious stew when the soldier ca in with bowls.

"What is this?" A high-ranking soldier, Cao ng, sat beside Bai Xiang asked the solider.

"The alchemist, Sir Long cook this for us." The soldiers inford them.

"Sir Long?" Bai Xiang looked at the stew.

"Yes, General Bai." The soldiers nodded.

Since it was his daughter’s cooking, there was no way that he would be going to miss it. He imdiately devoured the stew.

Bai Xiang smiled with satisfaction on his face. He looked at others.

"Why do you look at like that? Why don’t you eat? If you don’t want to eat, give it to then." Bai Xiang said to his subordinates.

It was not like they did not want to eat but they were stunned to see Bai Xiang’s reaction.

"No... We will eat."

They imdiately tasted the stew. They were stunned. No wonder Bai Xiang looked satisfied when he ate the stew. It was f**king delicious.

Bai Xiang already finished his bowl. He planned to have a second bowl. So, he decided to go and take it by himself.

"General Bai, where are you going?" Cao ng asked.

"I want to see if there is any stew left. I want to have a second bowl." Bai Xiang was not embarrassed when he stated the word.

Well, all the high-ranking soldiers also stood up.

"I will go with you."

" too."

" too."

Bai Xiang looked at his subordinates. They probably had the sa aim as him.

They went to the cooking area. The soldiers there were surprised when they saw Bai Xiang and other high-ranking soldiers. They were about to stand up to salute Bai Xiang.

"No need to stand up. Just continue eating." Bai Xiang stopped them.

Bai Xiang found the huge pot. He went over and looked inside. There was only a small quantity left.

"Have everyone got their share?" Bai Xiang asked a soldier who sat near the pot.

"I think so." The soldier nodded.

"Then, give the stew inside the pot." Bai Xiang said to the soldier.

"Huh?" The soldier was confused.

"The stew inside the pot, give it to ." Bai Xiang said.

"Yes... Yes..." The soldier nodded.

He imdiately took all the stews and poured them into Bai Xiang’s bowl. He sighed. He thought he could have a second serve.

"Give so to ." Cao ng said to Bai Xiang.

"Huh, why? It is mine. You cannot take it from ." Bai Xiang hid the bowl from Cao ng.

Everyone who watched them was stunned. They did not think that Bai Xiang and Cao ng would argue for the stew.

However, they did not think it was ridiculous because the stew was very delicious. Even they wanted a second bowl if it was available.

Bai Xiang ended up eating the second bowl of the stew alone. He even burped and rubbed his stomach, feeling satisfied.

"What are you doing here, Father?" Bai Tingfeng was surprised to see his father here.

Bai Tingfeng accompanied Bai Xifeng to go to the nearby forest after eating the stew. Bai Xifeng told him that there was an herb that she needed to pick for her treatnt. That was why Bai Tingfeng went with her.

Bai Xiang ignored his son and smiled at Bai Xifeng.

"Sir Long, thank you for cooking the stew for us. It is very delicious." Bai Xiang said.

"I am glad that you liked it." Bai Xifeng was satisfied to see that people liked her cooking.

"Yes, General Bai even had a second bowl." It was Cao ng who said that.

Bai Xiang coughed to cover his embarrassnt. "Well, it is so delicious. I cannot help it."

"If you like it, I will cook it for you again." Bai Xifeng said.

"No need. You will be tired." Bai Xiang said.

"No need. They will figure out our food." Bai Tingfeng said.

How could they allow his daughter/ sister to cook again? No. She would be tired.

Cao ng was speechless. It seed Bai Xiang and Bai Tingfeng cared a lot about Sir Long Feng. They seed to dote on him very much. It was like doting a daughter. But Sir Long Feng was clearly a man, not a woman. Not to ntion he was not related to Bai Xiang. How strange.
