A guest ca over to General Bai’s Residence. The servant who guarded the entrance rushed over to inform Yu Nianzu.

Yu Nianzu went to inform Bai Tingfeng. Bai Xiang was not here. He was in the palace.

"Young Master Tingfeng, soone cos to et Your Excellency. What should we do? Should we allow him to stay or should we reject him first by telling him that Your Excellency is not here?" Yu Nianzu asked.

Bai Tingfeng told Bai Xifeng’s subordinates not to call him Little General Bai. Young Master Tingfeng sounded much better.

"Does he tell you the na?" Bai Tingfeng asked.

"He did. The na is Bai Chao." Yu Nianzu ntioned the na.

When Bai Tingfeng heard the na, his look changed. He knew the na.

"I will go and see him myself." Bai Tingfeng stated.

Bai Tingfeng and Yu Nianzu walked to the entrance. Bai Tingfeng finally saw the guest. It was indeed him.

"Housekeeper Bai." Bai Tingfeng called Bai Chao.

Bai Chao looked over and smiled as he saw Bai Tingfeng.

"Young Master Tingfeng." Bai Chao bowed to Bai Tingfeng.

"What are you doing here, Housekeeper Bai?" Bai Tingfeng asked.

"No need to call , Housekeeper Bai anymore, Young Master Tingfeng. I am not the housekeeper anymore." Bai Chao smiled.

"Co in... Co in..." Bai Tingfeng realized Bai Chao was still outside. "Go and prepare so tea." He told Yu Nianzu.

Yu Nianzu nodded and left.

Bai Tingfeng brought Bai Chao to the hall.

"Housekeeper Bai... I am sorry... I used to call you that." Bai Tingfeng laughed. "Uncle Bai, what are you doing here?"

"I heard about General Bai coming back to the Capital City. So, I co to see him." Bai Chao said.

Bai Chao was the Bai Family’s servant in the past. His father was a close servant to the past General Bai, Bai Xiang’s father. His father was the housekeeper to the Bai Family. After his father passed away, Bai Chao took on the role.

"Hear about my father coming back? Should you already know since we went to the Bai Family House a few days ago? Wait... I never see you over there." Bai Tingfeng said.

Bai Chao smiled. "Young Master Bai, I already quit working at that family."

"What? Why?" Bai Tingfeng asked.

Bai Chao was really good at his work according to his father.

"One year after General Bai and you went to the border, the Second Master decided to fire the old servants that had been working from the Forr General Bai. They just paid us so money and let us go." Bai Chao explained.

Bai Tingfeng frowned.

"It is probably they felt having us around making them think they were not the true Master of the Bai Family since we were loyal to General Bai." Bai Chao stated again.

"I see... That is a terrible reason to fire soone." Bai Tingfeng said.

"Bai Chao, is that you?" Bai Xiang just returned ho.

Yu Nianzu inford him about the guest and the guest was with Bai Tingfeng right now. He did not expect to see an old acquaintance.

"Master Xiang." Bai Chao kneeled down and bowed.

Bai Xiang rushed over and pulled Bai Chao up. "Get up."

Bai Chao smiled as he saw Bai Xiang. They both grew up together. They were more like friend compared to the Master and Servant relationship.

Bai Xiang frowned as he heard Bai Chao’s story. No wonder Bai Xiang only got the letters telling her daughter was good in the past. If Bai Chao had been in charge, he would never let sothing like that happen to Bai Xifeng.

"What are you doing right now?" Bai Xiang asked.

"I am working at a restaurant." Bai Chao said.

"How about the other servants who got fired?" Bai Xiang asked.

"So of them left the city. So of them beca servants to another household." Bai Chao told them.

"Ah Chao, would you like to work for again?" Bai Xiang asked.

"What?" Bai Chao was surprised.

"You should know that I already cut ties with the Bai Family. It is only my family here. I would like to invite you to be my Housekeeper again." Bai Xiang said.

Bai Chao just heard that Bai Xiang returned to the Capital City yesterday. The custors were talking about that. He was curious and asked the custor about that matter.

The custors talked about many things. The separation, the moving out and the new General Bai’s Residence. He just wanted to et Bai Xiang. So, here he was. He did not expect Bai Xiang to invite him to work with Bai Xiang again.

"Are you sure about that? Should your Housekeeper have sothing to talk about?" Bai Chao asked.

He did not want to grab soone’s else job.

"You don’t need to work about that. We still don’t have any housekeeper." Bai Xiang said.

"Then, what’s about the young man earlier?" Bai Chao asked.

That young man was clearly acting like the housekeeper.

"Oh, if you an Yu Nianzu, he is Xixi’s subordinate. Since we don’t have a housekeeper, he is acting like one from now." Bai Tingfeng stated.

"You an he is Young Miss’s subordinate? Did Young Miss has gone missing?" Bai Chao was surprised.

He knew who was Xixi that Bai Tingfeng preferred. He heard about the news that Bai Xifeng had gone missing about half a year ago. She had not been found yet.
