The leader was startled. They were aiming for him. He needed to run away faster. He forced himself to be faster. However, how could he beat the two monsters? That was a quick chase. And now, he was caught by the man who accidentally killed one of them. He had been dragged to another man.
"Please... Please... Don’t kill ." The leader begged them.
He was not embarrassed at all. After all, he was begging for his life. Nothing was much more important than his life now.
Bai Xifeng squatted down while smiling at the leader. "You really want to live?"
The leader nodded eagerly.
"Then, lead to your den." Bai Xifeng grinned.
"My den?" The leader was confused.
"Yes." Bai Xifeng nodded.
So, even though he was still confused, he led Bai Xifeng and Liu Longwei to his den. Bai Xifeng still rode the carriage. The one who pulled the carriage was Cerberus. Cerberus demanded a higher quantity of the pills.
"Deal." Bai Xifeng said.
So, Cerberus replaced the horse’s job. Liu Longwei no longer had to be the coachman.
The bandits looked shocked as they saw the beast replace the horse. If they used the beast to fight with them earlier, they might be shredded into pieces. They arrived at the den.
The bandits who stayed at the den were cheering thinking that they had successfully robbed another victim.
"Boss, good job. Not only did you bring the thing, you even managed to ta a beast." One of them spoke.
They thought inside the carriage there would be things that they managed to rob. And the beast which pulled the carriage was the beast that had been tad by their leader.
"Shut up!" The leader said angrily.
Others who did not understand the situation looked confused. They turned and looked at each other.
Bai Xifeng and Liu Longwei got out of the carriage. The leader rushed to their side. He acted humbly in front of the two strangers, making others more confused.
"This is our den." The leader said.
Bai Xifeng looked around. "Where is it?"
"Where is what?" The leader could not get what Bai Xifeng wanted to know.
"Your treasure... Your wealth." Bai Xifeng stated.
"Huh?" The leader was speechless.
"You are bandits. You must hide the money sowhere, right? Tell , where is it?"
Her tone was extrely gentle, but her words implied sothing else.
It seed Bai Xifeng co here to rob them. The leader was speechless. The bandits were robbed by soone else. How ironic.
"Tell where it is." Bai Xifeng demanded.
The leader was scared. He hesitated for a mont before saying, "Your Excellency, we don’t have it."
"Huh?" Bai Xifeng could not get it for the first ti.
So, the leader repeated it again. "We don’t have sothing like that."
"Impossible. Most of the bandit dens have it." Bai Xifeng did not believe that.
"Well, I am embarrassed to say it but we really don’t have it. Most of the money goes to the food and build the house." The leader scratched his back head.
"What? What kind of bandit are you? Don’t have the secret room?" Bai Xifeng said.
Liu Longwei did not know what kind of fantasy Bai Xifeng had regarding the bandit.
"So, you really don’t have the money?" Bai Xifeng asked again.
The leader nodded honestly.
"Then, why did I co here? What a waste of ti?" Bai Xifeng hissed under her tongue.
Bai Xifeng looked up at the sky. The sky would turn dark after one hour. They needed a place to stay over.
"Give two rooms. We will stay for a night." Bai Xifeng said.
"What?" The leader was confused.
"How can soone slow like you beco a leader?" Bai Xifeng said.
One of the bandits leaned over and whispered to the leader’s ear. He finally understood what Bai Xifeng wanted.
"Yes... Yes... I need to provide them for you." The leader said.
The leader began to order others to prepare two rooms for Bai Xifeng and Liu Longwei. The bandits, even though they did not understand, did not disobey the leader’s order.
Not long after that, the two rooms were completed. The leader showed Bai Xifeng and Liu Longwei the room.
"Your Excellency, here is your room." The leader said.
"Okay..." Bai Xifeng nodded.
The leader then asked sothing else. "Your Excellency, do we have to prepare so dinner for you?" The leader seed to indulge more in this character.
"No need." Bai Xifeng shook her head.n
"Okay." The leader nodded and left.
"Why don’t you accept the food?" Liu Longwei asked.
"Well, who knows what might be inside it? I can not risk my health like that. Not to ntion, I already have another poison inside my body." Bai Xifeng said.
Liu Longwei rembered Bai Xifeng fell asleep without waking up for one week. That’s right. She could not risk her health like that.
"So, what are you going to eat for ?" Liu Longwei asked.
"I have packed food. I can eat them. It also tastes yummy." Bai Xifeng said.
Bai Xifeng took out the food that she talked about. She discovered sothing about his Mirror World. It seed all the food that she stored in the Mirror World would not be rotten. So, she began to store more and more food. So that, it would be used for the ti like this.
