"You can leave now." Bai Xifeng waved her hands.
The n tried to crawl toward the carriage.
"Hey, who told you that you can take the carriage?" Bai Xifeng asked.
The person who was about to step on the carriage paused. They did not dare to move.
"Leave the carriage. You can leave by walking." Bai Xifeng said.
The n did not dare to say anything. They walked slowly, step by step, leaving this place.
"Finally..." Bai Xifeng turned to the won and the children.
They looked afraid of Bai Xifeng. Bai Xifeng raised her eyebrow.
"You are free. You can leave. You can take the carriage." Bai Xifeng said.
One of the won approached Bai Xifeng. She, then, knelt down and kowtowed to Bai Xifeng. After that, all of won did the sa thing. The children who did not understand anything also kowtowed to Bai Xifeng when they saw the adults’ action.
"Hey... Hey... Stand up." Bai Xifeng urged them to stand up.
The won stood up.
"Young Lady, thank you for helping us escape the nightmare." One of them said.
"I am very grateful to the Young Lady. If you don’t appear, we might be sold to the brothel." Another one chid in.
"So, what are you going to do next?" Bai Xifeng asked.
"I will go to another town to start fresh. I can not go back. They knew that I went missing. If I go back, it might cause problems for my family. I don’t want to hear people talk about all the ti."
"Yeah. I also did not want people to talk about . My family probably will not want to return anymore."
"My family also don’t want anymore. They probably will refuse to accept ."
"My family have another daughter. My return might ruin her future marriage."
The won cried out the worries that they had. All of them refused to go back to their family because they thought it might cause trouble for their family. Bai Xifeng listened to all of their grief.
"You need to live for yourself. Not for your family or others." Bai Xifeng said.
Then, the won who listened to Bai Xifeng’s words stopped crying.
"How?" One of the won suddenly asked.
"Get stronger. You already see the effect of getting stronger. When you are strong, no one dares to ss with you." Bai Xifeng said.
The won were silent. They were thinking about the statent. Get stronger... Get stronger. They are enchanting the words over and over again. They nodded.
"Yes. We can do it."
"Hmm... Let’s do it."
The won were willing to train to be stronger.
"Here..." Bai Xifeng took out the money and gave it to the won.
"This..." The woman puzzled.
"I got the money from that old bastard. So, technically, it is not my money. Besides, to begin a new life in a new city required money. So, take it." Bai Xifeng said.
After hearing what Bai Xifeng said, the won accepted the money. They swore that they would beco stronger in the future. Bai Xifeng did not know that in the future, the won would create a sect that only girls could enter. They would even build the honour statue of Bai Xifeng.
While they were imrsed in their thought, Bai Xifeng’s stomach made so protest sounds, telling her to eat. She took out so food and ate it.
After that, Bai Xifeng told the won to get ready to leave this place. She would accompany the won to the nearby town. The won nodded and agreed. So, they began their journey together.
The woman drove the carriage. The children rode the carriage. The nearby town was not far. Two hours later, they had already arrived at the town. Bai Xifeng still wanted to continue the journey. So, Bai Xifeng did not stop there.
Bai Xifeng was still walking. She already mastered the art of walking fast. She saw a temple. Since it was turned dark, she decided to stay over at the temple.
However, the closer Bai Xifeng got to the temple, the more she realised it was a rundown temple. She was feeling uncertain whether she wanted to stay there or not when the sky started to rain. The situation forced Bai Xifeng to make a decision.
Bai Xifeng took shelter, covering from the rain. It rained heavily. It seed it would not be stopped anyway. Bai Xifeng settled in for the night. Since she felt cold, she called out Princess Huahua.
Bai Xifeng imdiately hugged Princess Huahua as she appeared.
"So warm." Bai Xifeng grinned.
When Bai Xifeng was snuggled into Princess Huahua, she heard so sounds. She looked at Princess Huahua. She saw nothing. She frowned.
Was this place haunted? She often watched many ghost stories that involved the abandoned, rundown temple. Since the ghost tried to disturb her by making sounds, Bai Xifeng did sothing.
She got out of Princess Huahua and started to create an array. It would protect her for the night. It would also block any sound that could scare her.
Then, she snuggled back into Princess Huahua’s arms.
"Huahua, if you hear sothing, just ignore them." Bai Xifeng reminded Princess Huahua.
"All right, Xifeng." Princess Huahua responded.
Whatever made the sound probably did not expect the move from Bai Xifeng. So, it kept making sounds to get Bai Xifeng’s attention. However, what it got was nothing. Bai Xifeng slept soundly in Princess Huahua’s arms.
